Great views and better food, was very happy with service and the patio is amazing.
Steak and seafood was great. Side dishes were incredible! Please reopen the VooDoo Lounge!!!!
Has amazing views of the city. Small menu but the food was very good.
We had a wonderful birthday dinner. The food and service were both amazing. If anyone complains about the noise level it was because of our group. Thanks for allowing us to have so much fun and create such wonderful memories. We will be back.
The service was average for high end steak house, the drinks were nothing special and the food so so. Lobster bisque, again so-so, baked potato poorly finished. I'm glad to have tried 12 oz wagyu steak. 5 oz inedible fat, poorly trimmed. Remaining 7 oz was pretty good.
We were married Friday and celebrated our first dinner here. It was amazing.
Views unsurpassed 😊😉🙂
The ambiance they really skimped on. No table decorations, no bread no frills. It was really lacking in this department. For the price they should do the small extras that make an overall experience.
Probably wouldn’t go back.
A little too dark overall. Would of been nice to have some bread or rolls while waiting for courses. Other than that. Food very good. Service was spot on.
We were seated right away for our reservation for our anniversary dinner. The waiter immediately shared that there was no desserts for the evening except vanilla ice cream and the tomahawk steak dinner for two was also not available. We specifically came for that offering. Still we managed to find things to order. My husband order a Scotch and I had iced tea which was topped off once. The Caesar salad was good.and we both had that at $17 per person. It would have been a bit small to have ordered on to share. I had scallops and that entree was four nicely plated seared scallops with asparagus it usually also comes with some puried potatoes and a few carrots but I can eat neither of those My husband had a 20 ounce bone in ribeye and creamed spinach with bacon. The waiter checked on us frequently and when we ordered coffee at the end of the meal, he brought a scoop of ice cream as a complementary for our anniversary. Coffee is $5.50 per cup. Voodoo felt like the best part of Rio right now because both the inside and outside of Rio feels and looks run down. The food was good, very good and especially the steak. It's just a disappointment that for a special occasion, a menu featured dinner for two and desserts were not available.
Steak was just ok. Waiter was flat out bad. Place looked very tired and worn. The night we dined they were out of every desert. Way over priced.
Server was amazing, food was delicious and the views were unmatched! We will be back again the next time we are in Las Vegas, it is a wonderful steakhouse!
The staff was rude, the patrons were rude, the food was inedible and the ambiance was mediocre. The steak was sub par for a chain restaurant much less a steakhouse. The scallops had the texture of gum and we couldn’t finish them. The lighting changes with the sign on the roof and creates an odd feeling. Very, very disappointed in what was supposed to be ‘hidden gem’.
We had to separate because there was five of us we booked a table for three and a table for two at the same time! We was both seated around 5 minutes apart. The first to be seated was the table for two. I was at the table for three. The waiter gave us a wine list and we said we were not interested. He then hurriedly handed us menus waited on another table. Came back asked what we wanted took the order I had to ask for Ice Tea for myself. The girl filled the water was on it and brought my tea A young man brought our food to the table and left I had to ask for salt and pepper was not offered steak sauce. My daughter who was in the party of two came over and said that they took their order but she hadn’t seen them since. At this time we was almost done with our food. After I paid for my meal they were just getting their food. The food was good but not great like I have had at other Caesar steakhouse. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my friends.
One of the worst steakhouses I’ve ever been. No seasoning on the steak. The Caesar salad tasted like watery lettuce. Not worth the money at all.
Amazing steak dinner, one of the best ever. We had the tomahawk dinner for two
The food was very good but pricey. The drink with the smoke was a really neat presentation and a fun addition to the meal. They had run out of dessert so can’t comment on that. The lobster was very well cooked, perfect texture and some of the best I have had. The French onion soup was delicious. The wine manager was fantastic. The remaining customer service was not what I would have expected from such a pricey dinner. Perhaps it was an off night, but it really dampened the experience. It was a good meal, but not an experience we would do again.
We were first seated near a large group, which was necessarily loud. We asked to be reseated, and were placed in an area not yet open and it was delightfullly quiet. The staff went out of their way to make us happy in every way. Excellent.
We have dined at Voodoo on several occasions and this is the first time it has been a disappointment. The food was very mediocre - seemed much more like they had things premade or bought from lesser source. The crab cakes were too perfect - very round but very little taste, the chopped salad was swimming in dressing, the steak was tough and the shrimp were tough. It made us sad as we had always enjoyed our visits here in the past. The service was pleasant as always.
Great food, great service, unique ambiance, definitely worth the experience! Restaurant is located on the 50th floor of the Rio Hotel providing great views of the Vegas area!
Excellent food and atmosphere!
The best service ever!! Beautiful restaurant and the staff was awesome and the Chicken Marsalis was excellent!!!
This dinner was for my 29th wedding anniversary but there was no mention at all by the staff even though I mentioned it in rye booking. Also the service took very long.
We return every time we are in town!! Food drinks and the view is amazing
I suppose that there was an AC issue because restaurant was very warm. That made the experience a bit uncomfortable. However good was on point and views were awesome.
I’m not recommend this place for dinner, it’s a scary place .
The only good is the view
Food was amazing!! Service was phenomenal!! However what makes the whole experience is the view!!!! Best date night in a long time!!
Food was excellent and so was the service. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone
We had a wonderful time. Food was amazing.
The service was the best part, they tried to provide a guest experience. The food, nothing would be re ordered should I go back. The wedge salad was basically a small chopped lettuce salad with blue.cheese, onion. Bacon pieces and cucumber. The other was a Caesar shared and their half portions were as large as the whole chopped wedge salad. The steaks were average but cooked nicely. The filet was delivered and then my NY Strip was also a filet. The server said no problem they would correct the mistake and took it away. The waiter then offered a complimentary glass of wine while I waited handling the mistake professionally. The two sides sat on the table getting cold while I waited for my steak. The steak is served singularly in a plate with a little greenery. $65+ for a steak cooked nicely but it was choice cut at best and had little flavor and the stringy texture that a dry aged steak should not have. The creamed corn was good but none of liked the blue cheese scalloped potato. Two people thought it was too spicy (cayenne) and I thought the blue choose added no improvement. Traditional scalloped would have been better. The total bill was $300 for 3 before tip. There was no real value because the food was below average. They did a minimal job with COVID protocols but the standard set by Mexico is better. Unfortunately with COVID the ambiance was basically a dark dining room with white table cloths because they could not be dressed before the customer sat down. My guest were from Ft Worth so they have high expectations for a $100 per person steak dinner. Also, no bread service was available complimentary or to order. Is this a steak house? Only in price. The views from the patio are beautiful, club entrance is advertised on the upper level but it has been closed since the shutdown. I will not go back as the food and its quality was not improved by the very good service. Employees can’t make up for bad menu choices and overly priced average quality food.
Incredible unforgettable dinner
Soda was horrible, couldn’t understand server, New York strip was dry need some kind of sauce to even eat it.
Billy was an amazing waiter. Give him 10 stars.
Always excellent in every way. Pricey, but hey, it’s Vegas and you can’t beat the food, the service, the drinks or the view.
Our server John was awesome. Lobster bisque and filet remain staples for dining when we come to Vegas!
Having dinner atop the Rio Hotel is always a great way to start a vacation. The view hosts a spectacular view of the mountain ranges as well as the bustling strip below. You can see all the planes in every direction getting in line to land. Best view to get your sense of direction of the strip.
All the food needed more seasoning. My steak was overdone. They didn’t understand the wine I wanted. Do they have a sommelier? We were seated by the bar where all the staff were hanging out and talking. Very disappointing overall.
It was alright. View was great food was good server was excellent. But wish the outside bar was open.
From the time we walked in until we left the entire experience was not good. We were not greeted, there were fans blowing like the AC wasn't working, the server spilled an entire glass of water on the table, the medium well waygu steak came out rare, and we couldn't even eat the Lobster Mac and cheese because it tasted so terrible. When paying $150 for 2 people, our expectations were a much higher than what we received.
Way too pricey for what it’s suppose to really cost.
