VooDoo Steakhouse - Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Ratings and Reviews
Horrible. Waste of time and money. Food sucked, service was worse. It was so bad, the chef came to our table to apologize. As he was speaking, the sneaky busser took my wife's plate with a shrimp and some of her lobster still on it. It was never returned or replaced. Blood pressure spiked from the over salted steak. Speaking of the steak, I wasn't given a knife to cut it. Server was annoyed when asked for a knife. I was speechless when given a filthy, used knife. It had dries sauce and bits of food on it. He was annoyed again when I asked for a clean knife. The only good thing about this DUMP was the views from the roof.
Thanks for putting us right next to the noisy kitchen in your nearly empty restaurant. The view would be greatly enhanced if you would wash the windows. Timing of the meal was horrible. Ordered a glass of wine, waiter brings the entire bottle and then looks at me like I'm the idiot when I ask him what he is doing. Teach the chefs the difference between medium and medium rare. Manager essentially clueless, and really didn't care to receive any feedback. Overall...go to Ruth's Chris or Del Frisco's if you are going to drop a few hundred dollars for a dinner. Everything at either establishment is so much better.
A very good evening until a colleague (in an operator error) was charged 5 times the cost of her meal on her debit card. When we asked for the funds to be refunded the management said they could not and my colleague would have to contact her bank and chase up the error herself. This left her in deficit in her bank account and was detrimental to her weekend in Vegas.
The management offered her a glass of champagne as a scant compensation.
Very much enjoyed our dining experience at Voodoo. My love cannot get over how good his 20oz steak was- he was smiling the whole time, and since claims it’s the best he’s ever had. The Mac n Cheese was delicious, and we both want more of the very tasty pineapple mojitos! Very romantic with a breathtaking view and great service;
This was Absolutley the BEST resturant!! The meal was Fantastic and the service was Amazing!! Jeff our waiter was FANTASTIC!!! The view was Incrediable!!There was a group of 6 of us celebrating my daughters 31st Birthday and her Bachelorette party!! I will definitely be coming back and ordering the Witch Doctor drink again!!!
This was my fifth or sixth time visiting the VooDoo Café. I have never been disappointed. Jamal was our waiter and he did an excellent job. Views were great, food was exceptional, cocktailes were good, and the atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. After dinner we went out to the patio area where you are can really look out over the entire Vegas area. It is always a great experience and I've recommended to numerous people.
This restaurant came highly recommended. We wanted a rooftop experience and great food all in one. I’m ver mixed on the food. On one hand the steak quality was fantastic, however it was over cooked. Ordered medium rare and it was medium +. Because the meat was tender, I dealt with it because of time restrictions. No concession was offered nor a visit from management. I expect that at the least. Sides were good, bread basket ok. Presentation very nice.
Steak was ordered medium, way over cooked, baby carrots were as hard as if I just picked em. And the signature drink the witch doctor didn’t even have all the ingredients to make on a Friday night. Very disappointed, and being a local I don’t think I’ll be back.
Outstanding view, the food is very well prepared. Steak temperature is perfect. First visit was a romantic dinner and experience was memorable. Went for a ride on the VooDoo Zipline before dinner. Second visit was for business and was equally enjoyable. Be prepared to spend some money, definitely not a cheap eat BUT as good as any fine steakhouse I've been to. The outdoor bar on a nice evening was incredible however, did seem to attract some less desirable clients.
The food was over priced for fair quality. The lighting was very poor and dark. Service was polite, but wait staff was over burdened with too many tables to provide quality service for the price paid.
There are too many other great places to eat in Vegas. Do not bother with this place.
Our server was fantastic, but that was pretty much all that was great. The food took entirely too long to come out. Our reservations were at 9, we got seated immediately and had our order taken, but didn't get our food until 10. The halibut was overcooked and Cesar salad was underwhelming. The French onion soup was decent. I felt like overall the place is overrated but the view is amazing. Skip the food and go to the upstairs bar for a drink or two and get dinner elsewhere!!
