VooDoo Steakhouse - Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino
Alive with mystical sights, sounds and flavors, VooDoo Steak will cast you under its spell! Situated high above Las Vegas on the 50th floor of Rio"s Masquerade Tower, VooDoo Steak provides a breathtaking view of the city that's perfect for an intimate, inviting candlelit meal.
VooDoo Steak serves two tiers of premium quality beef: Rio Premium Reserve and Rio Dry-Aged. The menu also includes favorites with a French-Creole flair. In addition to steaks, we have added side dishes for sharing, new appetizers, a completely revised dessert menu and fun new specialty cocktails.
Always a pleasure with great service and delicious food.
Wish it was darker so you could actually see out the windows instead of a glare doesnt make sense to me?? But...
Slab of bacon!!
The service was great. The good not so. Scallops were sandy, steaks just ok, salmon over cooked. Sides lobster Mac n cheese was good, whipped potatoes average, fried green beans were good. We did not have dessert and when they brought the bill they had a nickel size chocolate truffle that was the best part of the meal!
Pretty quiet in November @ 9 15pm, however steaks were amazing. Very warm welcome and shown to a table with a fantastic view of the strip @ 50th floor of the RIO. A couple of mistakes with the order, but quickly rectified. Overall a lovely date night.
Lightning is too dark. Flat iron was salty. Unless we missed something the mashed potatoes were purple which we found out later because we took the leftovers. Disappointed especially because it was my Wife's birthday and all that was done was the Hostess said happy birthday. Restaurants have made celebrating an occasion a good thing but VooDoo Steakhouse made it seem not important. It was like "That's nice and have a seat". DISAPPOINTED!
Food was average and pretty expensive all considering. Good service and ambiance but not an outstanding experience
I loved our server and the location because of the views, but my very expensive halibut was not that great. Sadly, it was dry and the crab it was stuffed with had a funny taste. The tomatoes that accompanied it were mind blowing and the buerre blanc potatoes were also good. The drinks were very pricey but that’s Vegas. My blood orange cosmo was killer (not too sweet, maybe a bit strong). Overall, it was good food, just not outstanding. The view was the best thing ever and dining here meant free entrance into the voodoo lounge which was a perk.
The view is EXCELLENT, panaramic views of the strip is well worth going to eat! Disappointed in the menu, as it had changed and choices had shrunk for winter, no risotto!!! Bummed!
Great experience! The view was phenomenal and the food was good. The cocktails were also great. Every staff member who helped us was very good. The prices were very high but that seems pretty usual for Vegas.
One of our favorite restaurants anywhere. Impeccable service, food, and views make this a great choice.
The prices are crazy for what you get, most expensive steaks in the strip.
Voodoo Steakhouse is exceptional! With amazing food and impeccable service!
Food and Service was Amazing..
excellent food but their prices have really skyrocketed. with no alcohol, with tip, it was over $100 per person. everything else was very good but they need to be careful not to price themselves out of the market for not being on the strip.
What an exquisite experience! My husband and I dined here and will be back! From start to finish everything was elegant and delicious! We started with their witches brew beverage which was very large and tasty! The beverage was smoking and sweet. We got the short rib bruschetta and we loved it! Then we shared the tomahawk rib eye which was no mistake! I couldn’t finish all of it nor could my husband because of how large it was. I am very full and happy. We let the food digest for a bit then we shared the chocolate dome dessert. They poured fire on top to let the chocolate melt it was out of this world! We will be back soon! Thank you for the perfect evening
From the food to the service to the view...outstanding. Pricey but what in Vegas isn't. Well worth it all the way around.
Amazing view and fabulous meal. Would definitely go back.
Great ambiance Great food Spectacular staff and that View!!
Honestly, this was a once in a lifetime experience. The view was great and our server was great. However; For the price that they charge the food was subpar. My lobster was hard, yet chewy. My steak was lacking in flavor. The vegetables were crunchy and also lacked flavor. The potatoes were great though. The ceasar salad and Lobster Bisque were okay. I got the last forbidden apple; it was interesting, tart, sweet.
Maybe we just went on a bad night or maybe we were just expecting more.
Great steaks, lobster Mac and cheese was marginal, no comparison to Mastros!
Great food, awesome customer service, excellent views. Tad bit over priced but you get what you pay for!
The view is spectacular and the food was very good. We had the ménage a trois and it was plenty of food without stuffing us. I also appreciate that it came with potatoes and asparagus so we didn’t have to order sides.
Pleasantries surprised, amazing view, knowledgeable waiter, could require a dress code At the least business casual
Exceptional food and view. Friendly staff! Sorta dark atmosphere
I’ve been to this steak house several times over the last 10 years. The view is great but every one of our steaks was cooked incorrectly and we maybe received service every 45 mins. Overall we will not be returning
Waghu steak very good
View is outstanding
Service was excellent
Incredibly noisy....server was very inattentive after meal was served...15 minutes to get the check, and never offered another drink.
This is "our" steakhouse whenever we visit Vegas. The food and service can be counted on to be outstanding. Occasionally it can be on the noisy side (couple of large groups this time), but you can still hold a conversation. Highly recommend you come early as it does get busy (we usually come at 6:00).
We ate at 3 different steak houses this trip and VooDoo was the best...as expected.
This is the second time there, and both times had the same waiter.. And we really had a hard time enjoying the service.. You could put a pile of dog doo on the menu and he would say it's awesome.. We understand that a waiters job is to sell, but why tell me the lobster is awesome , then when it's not, say, yeah, we've been having problems with the lobster lately.. Wtf
My husband and I stayed at the RIO and ate at the VooDoo Steakhouse. It was such an awesome experience and beautiful site of the city from the roof top. We would surely do it again. The waiter was quite awesome as well. The food was fantastic!
We really enjoyed the food and experience at VooDoo Steakhouse. We definitely plan to return. Service was excellent.
Great atmosphere, excellent service. Chef prepared a dish not on the menu but one we always request - lobster thermidor - which was superb! We return to Voodoo on every Vegas visit!
Dinner started great with John as our server, but as more patrons arrived, he was totally overwhelmed by the volume of tables he was covering. Seafood tower was awesome, salads not so good, and the steaks were great for the price. They also supplied a side of blue cheese that was phenomenal. We ordered a glass of wine to accompany the steak entrée, but it didn't arrive until the steak was almost gone. We asked the manager about the wine and he took care of the situation. He brought the wine to the table and didn't charge us, they also served us a complimentary glass of champagne and Crème Brule dessert for our anniversary. During our stay the music seemed inappropriate and also too loud, the volume was adjusted about the time we were leaving. Went upstairs to the Voo Doo Lounge to enjoy the view from the roof, but the weather wasn't cooperating. All in All this venue seems tired and outdated, even the path to the elevators made it seem like you were coming in the back doors. Happy we experienced it, but most likely won't be back.
The service was outstanding. Food was great. From pricey, if you want, or moderate if you don’t. Try the mushroom side.
Sides were cold, steak not cooked to correct temperature.
Food and service were absolutely AMAZING. The view from the restaurant was wonderful, we will definitely be back!!
My waiter was very slow. Took awhile to even acknowledge me. Then took forever for my drink. After my food came I didn’t see him again. Not too friendly. I really wanted to go check out the club next floor but the waiter ruined my night with his conceited aloofness.
Restaurant was nice and wait staff was superb. Steak was more fatty than I would've preferred. Not inexpensive. Great views of strip while you dine!
Voodoo steak never disappoints everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned by far the best steakhouse in Las Vegas
Great service! Sam was tremendous!! Great wine and Wagyu steak. Scallops were a little underdone. Good lobster bisque. Outstanding view of the city!!
