VooDoo Steakhouse - Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino
Alive with mystical sights, sounds and flavors, VooDoo Steak will cast you under its spell! Situated high above Las Vegas on the 50th floor of Rio"s Masquerade Tower, VooDoo Steak provides a breathtaking view of the city that's perfect for an intimate, inviting candlelit meal.
VooDoo Steak serves two tiers of premium quality beef: Rio Premium Reserve and Rio Dry-Aged. The menu also includes favorites with a French-Creole flair. In addition to steaks, we have added side dishes for sharing, new appetizers, a completely revised dessert menu and fun new specialty cocktails.
Very cool place as far as atmosphere is concerned. The food was good, not outstanding. Service was however outstanding. It was quite until a large group came in than extremely loud, too bad groups cannot be seated in another section of the restaurant!
Great food and ambiance
We loved our experience at Voodoo Steakhouse. Jacinto from Portugal was our waiter. He was very friendly and knowledgable. We are locals and brought some friends from out of town here.. there were 4 of us. We will be back. We thought the price point on food was right on. Had the filet mignon, and it was cooked to perfection and tasty. French Onion soup amazing. Got 4 sides.. mushrooms, whipped potatoes, asparagus & risotto. Risotto needed a bit more flavor... some salt and pepper. It was not very loud in there, which is perfect. All tables have a great view, but get a window seat if you can.
Voodoo was definitely the high point of my vacation, and not just because it was 50 stories up. It was easy to book a reservation on open table, a bit harder to find how to get there (the hotel elevators say floor 50 but cannot be activated, there is a different elevator on the 2nd floor of the casino that takes you up there.) I was sad to find out that as a solo diner I could not do the tasting menu (even though it doesnt say it on the menu) but I was happy with my choice of a 28 day dry aged 20oz ribeye. The lobster mac and cheese was equally amazing. Overlooking Las Vegas as the lights came on was an experience in itself. And definitely do not skip dessert
Walking out and seeing the spectacular view of Las Vegas from 50th floor really sets the mood. Very nice selection of appetizers, salad options and the main course, good selections of steaks. Wide array of wines. Jeffrey our waiter was excellent. I had the domestic lamb chops and my fiance' had the menage trois ( filet- lobster tail - jumbo shrimp) Excellent. Would definitely go back.
This is an excellent restaurant. The views are remarkable, the service spectacular and the food delicious. We had the pleasure of being served by a professional named Jeff who was attentive, helpful and very personable. If you have not dined here yet, you should try it out.
Absolutely exquisite. Beautiful restaurant looking out over the city. Food, drinks, service were over the top
Celebrated our first anniversary at Voodoo Steak House. Received complimentary glass of champagne to start. Great views. Nice atmosphere. Very quiet compared to the casinos and other restaurants. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, the scallops were the best I’ve had. The staff were superb.
Pricey, but worth it. A very enjoyable dining experience! Would definitely go back.
Thank you to our wait staff Jose and Paco for making my sister's 60th birthday one that she will forever remember. We had a wonderful evening at the VooDoo Steakhouse; we choose the Chef's Tasting Menu and Pairing; the food & wine was outstanding....yes I would definitely go again the next time I'm in Vegas.
Voodoo lounge....The service was horrible, we went for a 50th birthday and the guy whose 50th it was was asked for ID. Clearly he looks over 21, he produced his European driving licence and this servicer who was clearly on a power trip made such a scene at checking it under a flashlight for over 10mins. It was so uncomfortable and his attitude was awful. We walked out and took our business elsewhere even though the voodoo lounge was empty and we had spent a lot of money in the restaurant. Would never go back. Hugely disappointed
we had great service and the food was excellent, we will diffidently go back for some great food
The Staff was very personable and knowledgeable
Cannot begin to express how delicious everything was! I only wish we had room for dessert! Definitely try the smokey tequila drink.
It continues to be our favorite steak house in Vegas. We took some friends this time and they had a great time (except for the exterior elevator ride where we discovered one of them was afraid of heights).
We arrived at 6:00 and had no problem getting a lovely widow table. The onion soup is excellent, as was the steak and potatoes (split order between us, as usual, and it was plenty). Once again, never got to desert (5th visit and we still haven't made it to desert). The prices are very reasonable and the menu selection is excellent.
I love it there. The food is beyond amazing and it was a special occasion. Hands down the best meals I’ve ever had!
We love the food and the veiw. We make a point to stop there every time we come to Vegas.
This is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. The service is always excellent and so is the view. We found the Caesar salad a little bland this visit but otherwise the food was delicious.
Dinner at the VooDoo is outstanding....don't hesitate to make the reservation. You will experience some of the best service, best views and without a doubt the best steaks in Vegas....
Celebrating my son's birthday and they made it even more special then I planned.
I was a little skeptical being it was at the Rio but it was super sexy atmosphere and good quality food and good service .
If it weren’t for the view we wasted our time. Place is dated. We ordered asparagus with truffle sauce but came with aoli sauce. Ordered salmon with bok choy got green beans instead. Fish for both of us were over cooked. Should have listened to a friend who is a local and gone somewhere else
As usual, the steakhouse exceeded our expectations. We have dined there on a couple of occasions, and it wonderful EVERY time! The view is spectacular from the 50th floor!!! A MOST definite return.
The requested window view table for a party of one was gifted with a spectacular view. My dedicated server was ever ready to support whatever I wished for. I enjoyed the chef table menu. It was a delightful assortment of a seven course feast of enchantment. Expertly presented and artfully delicious. I did ask for them to cut back on the salt. The tapenade had an intriguing smoky element. The caramelization on the scallop was perfection. The sea bass was moist and unctuous, pure enticement. The Rosemary champagne sorbet was not to my personal liking; it was intensely herbaceous yet The taste and aroma of Champagne was blissful. The filet was prepared properly ghetto might have liked for a bit more flavor or should have asked for a topping. The ending voodoo spell dessert was jaw-dropping Lee Beautiful with an assortment of delights in every corner of the table covering. Just stunning and at the light unlike any other. Life is too short not to enjoy the view and consummate experience 50 floors up.
Great food. Our waiter took very good care of us all. The view is amazing!
For being an upscale steak house I was massively disappointed. Attire business casual but to get to their zip line folks have to walk through the steak house to get to the zip line so flip flops, swim suits, shorts.....loud people kept walking through the steak house destroying what ever nice atmosphere was supposed to be there....the only positive part was the sea bass was good but everything else....example on menu state they have Jasmine tea......tea box complete disarray and ....oh we are out of that one.....no what I expected for a signature restaurant.
I always enjoy a dinner at Voodoo Steakhouse atop the Rio Hotel.
The food is top notch, the service is always superior, and one of the best things about it is the opportunity to order a drink, and appetizers, and then step out onto the rooftop patio to enjoy the drink (and spectacular STRIP views!) while waiting for your first course to arrive. It's a wonderful dinner experience. (and for the brave, there is the zipline experience from one Rio building to another).
Everything was incredible. Looking forward to come back with another couple to dine.
The cook doesn't know how to properly cook a steak. The ambiance was great but I expect the food to match...especially for those prices and no substitutions allowed
We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary there. Overall, it was a great experience and we’ll be back soon.
Food was amazing. Nice view from the window seat. Service fabulous. The manager came over and introduced herself too. Lovely touch. Very personal and friendly. 5 stars easily.
Decent food and friendly staff add to the great views from this 50th floor establishment. Too bad it's at the Rio which has become really, really shabby.
Daughters 21st Birthday.. Fabulous place!! FOOD FABULOUS!! Service FANTASTIC!! Jeff our waiter was great!!
Great place and view. Got the seafood special appetizer and it was filling for 3 people. Everything tasted very fresh. Will definitely go back!
The service was excellent!!! Specially jhon our waiter!!!!!!!! He was great and really help us with the choose of food!!!
They treated us like VIP’s, the manager John and wait staff took great care of us, and the food was excellent as always.
One of the best meals we’ve ever had. I was quite pleasantly surprised. Jamal was a wonderful waiter, and the ribeye was the most perfect steak I’ve had.
Great food! And staff was amazing, would highly recommend
Amazing food and amazing service the best steak I have ever eaten. it was the flat iron steak beyond amazing, my family all had a great time, great choice out of all the restaurants around
Food & Service are absolutely fantastic. Add the magnificent view & it's pure magic!
Always an outstanding experience and excellent food
