We all did the 3-course dinners and all tried different combinations. Very good! Our waiter was very knowledgeable on the wine list and gave great suggestions!

Volterra is always amazing! We enjoyed the Wild Boar and Lamb Shank this visit. The pecan pie for dessert was fabulous and Stephen, our waiter, was a delight! He is from Texas, just like us!
We both got the rib eye special. The steaks were barely ½" plus they were half fat. I know rib eyes have more fat then NY strip, but I have never seen rib eye steaks with so much fat and so thin. Plus, they were both so tough that we almost asked for sharper steak knives.
Our waiter slammed the olive oil and seasoning down on the table and walked away. The service went downhill from there. We have been to Volterra several times, but this will be our last!
This is a nice date night spot. Quiet but not too quiet, decent wine list, and great service.
I think the menu is adequate and the food quality is excellent.
I don't leave stuffed but not still hungry either.
Volterra was a wonderful experience from start to finish. My date and I were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and our table was set up beforehand. We received prompt and well delivered service from the wait staff. The drinks were refreshing and the food was delicious. Definitely planning on coming back sometime in the future when a celebration is in order.

Volterra is excellent! Eva and staff are always attentive and on point. We had the grilled calamari and tagliatelle with Mark Ryan wine. We highly recommend Volterra.
Everything we tasted was excellent, but my favorite was the tomato soup
My family was excited to come here, however, the restaurant has nothing available for children. I recognize they may not cater to that crowd but I have never been to a restaurant that completely was devoid of that. Also, our food was undercooked. The medium- rare bore and steak was bloody and super chewy. The price tag wasn't cheap so I expected more.
Always a nice experience at Volterra our favorite place. Really nice ambiance and always the best service and food. Love Volterra and recommend highly.

Our first time at Volterra in about three years. Used to go all the time. Their COVID precautions are excellent. Food tasted great but my wife got very ill after we got home. We think it is possible that the potatoes fried in duck fat (according to the menu) got crossed somehow with her pasta as she is highly allergic to duck. Even a little bit will make her very sick.
Service by Steven was excellent and we enjoyed ourselves...until she got sick.

Food and service was amazing and very high class. Management of inappropriate behavior of guests was unacceptable. A group of drunk men screaming about fingering women was enough to make me not dine here again.

The Plexiglass dividers between tables are genius - you still see everyone and feel the energy but you feel safe.
The grapefruit Negroni was balanced and delicious!
The crab cake appetizer was the star - hot tender flavorful crab with a fresh delicate salad.
The tagliatelle bolognese is a classic - hearty and paired perfectly with the D2.
The only disappointment for me was the chocolate lava cake - it wasn’t warm nor was it crispy on the outside - my bf loved it and gobbled it right down!

Corkage fee is excessive. Two of 6 entrees were good, 3 entrees were very good and 1 was outstanding.
Prawns entree had to many bell peppers - at least 1/3 of the plate. Chicken entree was same, to many bell peppers that overwhelmed the dish. The outstanding entre as always was the wild boar.
Iv been to your establishment twice. I ordered the scallop dish with that green stuff I asked server to change that to just linguine and Parmesan. I guess he didn’t here me right but right away went back from to the kitchen and changed it promptly, bravo to the waitress. My daughter ordered the lamb, it was so dried out and to spicy to eat. The waiter and the hostess were more than wonderful to us. I hate to say this but the food was so horrible I won’t eat there again.
Excellent choice for a special date night. Very good food and a respectable wine list. Service is way above average with attention paid to details.
