Volario's at Vasquez Creek Inn
The entire place was closed. No sign, no nothing... got several updates from open table through the day remindingbus of reservation... had no time to make alternative arrangements...
Decent food. Little pricey especially the kids menu for what they get.
They sat us in the bar without giving us a choice. Everything was fine, just fine.
We had a great dinner and enjoyed ourselves very much. They had a delicious menu with lots of Italian options. We enjoyed lasagna x3 and I tried the Flank steak. All equally delicious. The wait was a bit long however; as we were there quite early - we were surprised with how long it took to "turn our dinner" but regardless, the company was fine and the food was fabulous! We chose not to indulge in desert.
Great Italian in WP!! Way to go Volario's!! It's refreshing to have a GREAT ITALIAN restaurant in WP.
Excellent cocktails, appetizer, and entrees. Our waiter Jonathan was proficient and personable. As has been mentioned, the wine list is a bit pricey. But it has offerings that cannot be found in your local wine store, and we found a bottle we enjoyed for $40. Winter Park is not exactly renowned for its restaurants, and this one is very good.
Food was delicious. Waiter was spot on with his recommendations. We will go again to try other menu items.
Great service from the entire staff!! Especially our waiter!!
Delicious food in a warm atmosphere! We really enjoyed our evening.
In the end Volario's was a nice dinner. Salads, brussel sprouts and diavolo pizza were all yummy.
We were very disappointed in a few things. First, we had made our dinner reservation 3 weeks in advance, but when we arrived they seated in the bar underneath the TV set playing a hockey game. The waiter (seemed stoned) was pretty clueless and brought us the wrong wine list TWICE, before realizing that it was actually the right wine list. So we sat there for a long time with nothing to drink.
Since there are so few decent restaurants in Winter Park to choose from, Volario's is still recommended because the food is good. Just keep expectations for good service low.
We ate twice at Volario's last weekend, and everything, food, beverage and service, was excellent. On Friday evening, I had the vesuvio pizza, and my spouse had the Pappardelle with sausage and both were excellent. On Saturday evening we dined with friends and had the risotto cakes, Brussels sprouts, lasagna, braised lamb, Caesar salad, and pasta with clams. Everything was excellent, portions were generous, and the servers were attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend Volario's!
Outstanding home made pasta. The dining rooms are spacious and amenable to group conversation. Wine list has reasonably priced bottles available -e.g. Schild Estate Barossa Shiraz for $56. Second time visited with consistent results. A top choice in Winter Park
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at this cosy venue. Staff friendly and helpful
Always terrific dining here.
High quality, fresh food in a comfortable setting. The open kitchen is across the way and not intrusive.
Amazed it's not more crowded since the chef is consistently one of the best in the area.
(Server Josh makes great suggestions, remembers and takes care of us each time!)
Service and food were mediocre. Took roughly 10+ minutes after we were seated to even talk to someone. Seemed as though every time someone came by to take our food/drink order they were already trying to walk away. Never once experienced a feeling that we being taken care of or that anyone even seemed to care whether or not we actually WERE being taken care of. Food was alright, definitely not good enough to justify the prices. Expected more from a Devil's Thumb affiliate.
I had the best lasagna I’ve ever eaten here. It was so good and I will measure all other lasagnas by the one I had at Volario’s.
Very quaint mountain inn feel. The service was perfect and do was the food. The kids meal is $8 and they get a regular size salad and delicious gelato with their entree! Very amazing.the Graham crust caramel gelato pie dessert is also a must eat!
Great lasagna and amazing bread
Everything was fabulous!
Dave our waiter was great. Very upbeat and made wonderful recommendations for wine and food. The papardelle Barolo was fabulous.
This is a lovely restaurant, great wait staff, and pleasant atmosphere. My husbands meal was excellent. He had lasagna. The focaccia bread was amazing. I was less impressed with my meal. The Brussels sprouts were over salted. My linguini with clams in wine sauce had wonderful pasta, but otherwise was bland. Perhaps this was not the meal to order there? Overall, we would go back, but I would try something else. Prices are reasonable.
The atmosphere is fine. The food was very good but high priced. Service was very good.
We were greeted enthusiastically. The hostess recognized the "special event" that we were celebrating and brought us complimentary champagne. We had a nice, quite table for two. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and funny, but knew when to interact and when to hang back. Great time ! I would recommend Volario's to anyone looking for good food and excellent service.
Very nice experience. Solid wine that is reasonably priced and an interesting cocktail menu.
I have been to Volario's a couple times and have always been impressed. This current visit was not very good compared to past visits. First, we were a little early and the hostess was not very kind nor accommodating so we went to the front bar to get a drink. There were 3 people behind the bar and none of them were doing anything we go there but none would even look us in the face to ask if we wanted a drink. Finally who appeared to be the head bar tender did take care of us but he definitely seemed like this was extra work for him to be doing. We then went to our table and our waiter was great. He had lot's of recs for food and wine and really took care of us well, which was the best part of the entire evening. The meals were ok overall. A couple were really good, but one of us got the clam pasta dish and then noodles were under cooked and had no flavor. Luckily our company made it a great night, but will be a while before we return.
Excellent food and service. One for the top restaurants in Winter Park.
This could be a great restaurant, but it is the 3rd time our food is not hot. Service at least was better than last time.
100% would go back. Great price and great quality.
The hostess at Volario’s went above and beyond for us because we had traffic challenges and I had to call twice to change our reservation time. Each time she was very nice and accomodating about it and when we finally arrived seated us immediately. The service was good and so was the food. I had the lasagna, my husband had the mushroom papparadelle and my son had a pizza. While all of the food was very tasty, I think my son made the best choice. His pizza was delicious - big, cheesy, hot with a nice crisp crust. Would definitely recommend it.
Really nice place in Winter Park. Worth a visit for sure. The Salted Caramel Gelato Pie was AMAZING!!!
Delicious food, great service, would def recommend.
Service was sporadic and then all of a sudden the server decided to try and take my plate from me before I was done...didn't even ask first. The server also appeared to either be really hung over or high....
The food however was great and the pasta not too heavy.
New Year’s Eve dinner.
Wouldn’t do it again. Poor service. Raw chicken. Crowded. I will cook for the remainder of our vacation meals. It’s just not worth the money.
Went on Christmas day evening. Arrived early for the reservation and they seated us as soon as possible. Excellent service Josh D.was great. Recommend an excellent wine. Explained a couple of the main entrees and was always checking if we needed anything.
The best gluten free pasta! Amazing. Great food in general.
Winter Park, CO, near the ski resort of the same name, used to lack really good restaurants. We feel that Valarios is the best of the excellent restaurants that have been established within the last few years. Really good Italian food, as well as steaks an d seafood. Quiet ambiance, great drinks, good, friendly service, fair prices.
Dinner for 5 was excellent. Service was good but they were a bit overwhelmed. It still was a great dinner with family.
Nothing great...felt like a dinner I could make at home but 4 times the price.
during happy hour, ONLY the happy hour menu food is available. was bummed we couldn't try the meatballs, which looked amazing online. our bartender Cecil was on point though very welcoming and awesome!
