Matt was an awesome waiter took very good care of us.
It was a recommendation to our host on our trip. Everything was delicious right from the fresh oysters, delicious champagne vinegar salad dressing, the entrees (my husband had the Vogue steak. I had the chefs special which was a divine cooked to perfection bass with a sweet potato hash and a divine sauce I wanted to lick off my plate. So amazing! Our guests had the fresh pasta with a lemon sauce and Vogue salad with scallops. We also indulged in dessert the creme brûlée , Irish creme cheesecake and Apple Tart Tatan. Everything was perfect including the service which was impeccable.
I would highly recommend it to anyone that lives in or visits Phoenix. Next time I visit I will return for more good eats. Bravo 10/10

We did not see the server for a long time. My friend was asking questions about the dressing and the server was rolling her eyes.
The another woman was very helpful, but the server we horrible.
There was no manager on site to bring the issue to. I was going to go back the next day, but I didn't want to waste my time.

Long time customer but...the constant motion and interruptions by the staff were very distracting. A quiet dinner with friends at Vogue seems to be no longer available. Still, great food.

Really like this place for special occasions.the meal this particular was not as good this time. My lasagna was cold when presented the first time and warmer the next time, but not really hot. Took a while to get it back the second time so the flow of the meal was off.
It is not inexpensive so coltish food does impact the experience. I will return though

Fabulous dining experience. Excellent menu selections and a wonderful wine selection. Our waiter, Jason, was outstanding. Don't forget to try some of their wonderful martini selections.

Very pleasant and helpful server. Delicious food and such a pretty setting with all the lights. We celebrated 2 birthdays, mine and a friend's, and it felt like a very special occasion. We love the duck and this time I had seared Yellowfin tuna, which was excellent. We will definitely go back.

Ordered Coq au Vin got buttermilk chicken covered in gravy. Maybe I was hungry because I ate it. Had a beet salad with my date....all lettuce (soggy) and 4 beets. Salmon was a over cooked. The people were very friendly which compensated for the lack of quality of food.

We were very disappointed . I ordered the pasta with shrimp, was VERY surprised to
see only one shrimp, (cost $5.00). Think is should be stated on the menu it's one shrimp or the
option to have more.. Our son-in-law had the tuna, thought it was
not as written or described on the menu. My husband has escargot and it had a lot of breading on it, not the usual butter for dipping etc.
The appetizer of frita mista was more carrots than sea food.
Our waiter never came back to ask how our dinner was or if he could do anything for us.
It will be a very long time before we return.
As we were called by our lovely server Dana, "Vogue Virgins". This was our first time to Vogue Bistro, and it will definitely be one of our "go to places" for future dining. The food was outstanding, and the service was perfect!
I've been to Vogue Bistro four times now, and it has been consistently excellent. The menu is creative while still offering some staples (burgers; lasagna; meatloaf). The wine list has excellent variety, although I would like a few "bigger" reds. The server, Jason, was knowledgeable and congenial, and his familiarity with the menu and wine list made him a useful asset when ordering. He knew exactly when to appear and when to be unobtrusive. Dessert was a chocolate mousse cake--and it was heavenly! A charming and reliably special place for any occasion.
Celebrated my birthday with friends during happy hour and stayed for dinner. It was great. My friends love the oysters.
Outstanding service and a very nice choice of entrées. Food was nicely presented and sides were very good too. A definite "revisit"!
Food was ok, but way overpriced. Everything a la cart. Service was a bit pushy. Dishes were removed before we had finished. Lots of flying nhats too.

We were a party of 10 celebrating a meaningful birthday. Matthew provided superb service. Other wait staff was "Johnny on the spot" removing dishes, replenishing drinks, etc. Tuna, which 2 of us had, was terrific.
The meatloaf was lukewarm and bland the seared tuna so salty it was unfit to eat we had to return it. the steak was asked for medium rare and came well done. Escargo and French onion soup were fantastic. The waitress was excellent Laura and she did say their executive chef was out for the day. so hopefully they will make some changes. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try again sometime in the future if nothing else just for the French onion soup.
We just happened to be sitting by a neighborhood crowed so it became load.
Lovely patio dining. The beet salad needs more beets but quiche and crab/avocado crescent were delicious!
We arrived 10minutes early for a 6:30 reservation but still didn’t get seated until 6:50. My wife ordered the duck and it came separate with leg and thigh 1/4 on a plate with some roasted yam and roasted potato slopped on the plate. Disgusting presentation. My meatloaf appeared to be a slice of loaf that was fried in sherry/ burned n charcoal on one side. Again, disgusting.
Great signature cocktails! Wait staff is terrific. Food is delicious! A very nice place to enjoy a delicious meal...make sure you make reservations!!
Great time with friends on the patio as requested. Our wait staff person Jason is the best. Always attentive but not intrusive. Offers suggestions on food/wine parings and friendly. We always ask for him, never disappoints us.

Vogue Bistro was overall a disappointing experience for all 4 of us in our party. Our reservation was at 6 p. m. On a Tuesday evening. We were seated promptly and all ordered wine. Our food orders came 1 1/2 hrs. later with no real explanation from the server or other staff. ( we weren’t on a time schedule to leave but this was ridiculous) All of us thought the food was very good, even though some of it was lukewarm.
It’s so nice to have a spot in the Surprise area that serves oysters ,duck and other choices you’d normally have to go into Phoenix/ Scottsdale for. HOWEVER,the long wait and uncaring attitude was not acceptable and we won’t return.
I keep wanting to have aged experience here, it is one of the few 'nice' independent restaurants in West Valley of Phoenix. This is third time in a row that we have given it a shot after previous disappointments. Last time it was undercooked chicken and cold meatloaf. This past Saturday evening, my wife made the comment that the crab cakes the waiter had recommended were 'ripe'. I'll say, later that evening she became very ill.
It has been a year since the ownership changed, so there is no longer the 'transition' excuse. At the end of the day, three strikes your out, and this was third strike.
My only concern was when they tell you about their specials, they don't tell you the cost. Two of us ordered the special that night and were very surprised at the the price. One of us had the Filet and two the special. The Filet was $27 and the specials were $38. The Filet was a much better value.
Well, it is sad to write a negative review, as we have been here several times in the past and found it to be a jewel. This time, though, was different. Even with reservations, we were put into the outside corner area which was very cold and drafty. When we said something about it, we were told that we should have asked for a table inside when we made reservations. They had no extra tables so we physically moved our table a few feet almost intruding upon other diners to keep warm. We had a 6:45 reservation. We did not get our main plate until just after 8:00pm! One plate had to be sent back as a steak came medium well when it was supposed to be Medium Rare.Wow!! They were busy and we don't blame the server. This was management. That table never should have be used given the weather (cold). Not a good experience. Not sure we will be back.
Vogue Bistro is one of the best restaurants on the West side. The food is fantastic, the staff always super friendly and the ambiance is warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant !!
