ENJOYED THE DINNER AND MATTHEW GREAT WAITER/BARTENDER
Food was very good and service was very personal. Kristen took care of us all the way from start to finish. We will defiantly be going back.
Highly recommend this restaurant! We'll be back soon!
Attentive service. Food was extremely good. Little noisy.
Tuesday special is very good value. We had cheesecake, that was excellent.
Haythem was an outstanding waiter and as usual the oysters are a delicious starter.
Wanted to come and experience a hot and happening restaurant in the West Valley - due to a great write up that had been written in a local publication.
Hostess team was friendly and informed us they would wipe down our table and seat us. No utensils were put on the table.
Eventually, after being sat for 10-15 minutes a woman (who I later presumed to be an owner) came up to us without introducing herself to get our drinks orders. I ordered an Old Fashioned and my girlfriend ordered a Stella.
After another 10 minutes our drinks finally arrived, including my Old Fashioned serve to the hilt with ice in a cognac snifter. It was easily the worst Old Fashioned (OF) I've ever had. Having been a former bar/restaurant owner in a cosmopolitan and competitive area I could not let the glass go. The woman that was serving us when I asked about it said you get more in that "fancy glass".
Having the OF experience I had, switched gears to a Sazerac. The two Sazeracs I had the rest of the evening were well mixed and appointed with an elegant lemon twist.
After ordering our food, the chef's special (Beef Wellington ordered medium) and a demiglazed meatloaf, with the Vogue chips as a starter and again we waited. Sure enough our starter was served to us and not 90 seconds later so were our entrees.
First the chips had a great taste. But many chips were undercooked and raw. My gf's food was bland as if never seasoned. My Wellington was served with raw meat and raw pastry dough. The quality of the meat was grainy and not at all what one would expect from a filet cut. Makes me feel it was a lesser grade filet at a $34 price. Sent back the special and ordered an Arizona burger instead. It arrived undercooked as well, but after spending 75 minutes waiting for food, one must eat. The meat was certainly not seasoned.
To make up for the poor service our waitress, gave comped deserts. Unfortunately in one of the dessert items my gf bit straight into a piece of paper.
Do not come here.
The service and food were great but where we were seated was a bit noisy
The first time here and a few minor glitches, but mostly satisfied. Best part of the experience was our waiter, who was just the right amount of attentive. The house salad (and the plate it was served on) was room temperature (not chilled)--disappointing. The sauce that came on the meatloaf was too sweet for my taste, but I realize that is subjective. Otherwise our entrees were good. We then decided to split the bread pudding for dessert and were told it would take 15 minutes to prepare. When it arrived, instead of being right out of the oven, it was lukewarm and a tiny bit stale-ugh! The prices were reasonable so that's what helped to smooth over the rough edges. Overall, I would recommend this place, but there is still room for improvement.
The food is fantastic. Word is getting out cuz they were bumpin.
Great service (Jason) and great food.
Very good once again! Love that they play classic rock music.
Poor service very noisy. We waited 20 minutes before someone came to us. We saw our waiter once. Food was passable but not worth the money.
The food was very good but they forgot to put the potatoes in the coq au vin so had to bring them about 10 minutes after the meal was served. We were at a table for 2 right next to the counter where the servers are. It was very noisy in that location and there wasn't another table to move us to.
Lunch date- wonderful service and food
I was so surprised that the service was so poor, which also made food cold, because it took so long we ate it. Usually their food is so good. Little embarrassing bought our friends we bragged about The Bistro and it was thumbs down!
A gem in the West Valley! Excellent food and friendly staff. We love it.
Always outstanding! Our server, Dana, makes the experience special.
Our server was amazing. Very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious!!
Excellent blend of flavors. Not overwhelmingly large, thankfully, but very well thought of as a reservation is necessary. Adding outdoor tables expands capacity but not comfortable in extreme heat. Extensive cocktail, wine, and beer menu. The chef should be commended. We had the fan favorite meatloaf with au gratin potatoes and the Vogue burger with a bowl of lobster bisque. Exquisite sauces enhance the flavors. Desserts are worth saving room. We will be back and bring friends with us!
This place was highly recommended but our visit was not a good experience at all. The appetizers were good but the service was slow and the main course was less than average. Will never return or recommend.
I really don’t like saying negative things but we had the Vogue salad for dinner. It was like they soaked the thing in vinegar. That’s all you could taste. And I don’t know what they used for the actual salad but if it had flavor you could not get past the vinegar
Sorry. Don’t know if I would go back
Our new favorite. Awesome food. Kristen was the best and sweetest server.
Great waiter-Haythem!! Salmon & Filet we cooked just right! We’ll be back!
We went to the Vogue Bistro for our 36th Anniversary and were not disappointed. Our waiter asked if we had been there before (we answered NO, but told him it was our anniversary). From that point on we were treated to a Great meal and had exceptional service!
As always …. excellent!
This has become our go to place for an excellent dinner
Would’ve earned five stars for all but they have a serious fly issue
Excellent menu and good vibe. Food was excellent. It is a good choice when deciding where to go for dinner!
The food was very good and the menu offered items not often seen.
Lobster bisque is some of the best I have ever had. Very nice lamb shank with risotto and veggies
Consistantly excellent. Keeps us returning again and again.
Had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the food and especially enjoyed the waitress. She was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. The whole staff we very good. I like the Vouge and will definitely go back. Thank you
Food was wonderful as always. The charcuterie board was such a fun treat. Josh’s service was ver pleasant and prompt.
We ordered the meatloaf, French onion soup and
Vouge salad. All plentiful and delicious. Started with beer cheese and pretzel roll. Amazing! Excellent service. We will be back
Very good selection on the menu and a great place for a quality lunch.
Love our meal was wonderful Our server was even better!
Went with friends and had the Salmon entree which was good, Escargot appetizer was average. We found the service to be over zealous, over attentive really, we would of preferred to be left until our conversation at the table had finished, too many interruptions.
A lively place with exceptional food. Wait staff is on the ball. Disappointed in the bar this time, which is normally good.
The review is for happy hour...there are nice choices for wine and a few cocktails. We had the Vogue Chips, which were delicious! We went at 4:00 in the afternoon and it was a nice, moderate crowd.
