It is ridiculous how Vivi Pizzeria markets themselves on their website. The suppposed hand and homemade pasta, the artisan pizza...you would think you were going to a 4-5 star restaurant. That is why I made reservations for my husband and myself, but that is absolutely not what we experienced. This is Chuck-E-Cheese pizza for adults. We ordered the margherita, hoping for fresh mozzarella, basil and tomatoes, but what we received was soggy, greasy, and worse than frozen pizza. There’s nothing wrong with selling this level of food, it would be perfect for drunk, college kids, but don’t pretend to be something you’re not...that’s called false advertisement and leads to very unhappy customers leaving very bad reviews. The only thing redeemable about our experience was that the waiter was wonderful. We needed vegan options and he was very knowledgeable.
The menu caters to just about anyone. Lots of yummy Italian options. Good for kids/family. The only downside was the service was slow- so don't be in a rush. Would definitely go back though.
I am never disappointed when I eat here, love it!
Love Vivi’s for the food but the service is the worst. They really need a new manager and new tables .
Service needs major work.
Otherwise it’s great location,
Good food and good value overall!
Messed up service caused messed up orders! They could really use help with better servers
This is still my favorite place to get most Italian meals and always a great selection of wine. Servers are nice and always near to always available.
Fabulous service and delicious. Great place for groups.
I love Vivi pizza! The food is always amazing and the service is always fantastic! Even before And during covid getting a reservation has always been easy. We sat outside under cover and the heater was nicely placed and it was quiet. We really enjoyed our time! I highly recommend.
Great food and ambience. Always a fun time.
Both food and service was great. It was very pleasing.
Best pizza, best brussels sprouts and all around good Italian food. You will not be dissapointed.
Love VIVI food!! It was delcious and staff was great!
Really good food and reasonably priced. Fun for a Friday night out. Highly reccomend
We enjoyed the food very much. The pasta was perfect! Al dente!
We were very impressed with the service staff.
We sat by the welcome counter.
They informed and kept the pick up order customers
Picked up things off the floor as they passed.
Knew exactly hownto respond to questions and request from different customers
It's how the words are presented which makes a difference. Ex. They saw that we paid with cash, instead of the common " would you like any cash back?" Their response was " Thank you, I will be right back with your change" ( which we declined) they didn't assume. The wait person thanked us again! And not in passing, with eye contact!
Highly encourage to dine here. If yeah, the pizza was awesome too!!!
Our left over boxes that our server handed us were swapped. We didn’t realize it until after I dropped off my friend. Next time, we’ll check! Thanks for seeking feedback.
Wonderful service - clean and enjoyable indoor meal!
Everything was great it was quiet. I loved the wood floors and the wood on the ceiling. We were close enough to the kitchen to smell the pizza oven. The food was good. The only issue we had was the lack of parking.
Some of the absolute best Italian food around. Highly recommend!
Love the pizza and pasta. The apps and salad weren’t good. Love the ambiance and people
Great experience and good food!
PreCOVID I had come here a few times and the food was always wonderful! The most recent time (last weekend) the food was very bland and a majority of it was not enjoyable. Hopefully they get back on track because it used to be a great place to eat!
Vivi’s was not able to honor the reservations they over booked on Sunday even though they threatened to fee you a $100 if you don’t show up for your reservation. They told us we could sit in a freezing
Drafty tent on an incline in the parking lot.
Not impressed with reservation program they should not take more reservations than they can honor.
Service was excellent. We made reservations and had to wait outside just for a little while and got seated inside wich was much better but i wish they had closed the door because it was still cold inside. Everyone was wearing jackets while having dinner. I was looking to be cozy. Dinner was very good. We had a candle on the table, ordered pizza and pasta with a bottle of red wine (Malbec) over all we loved it and will definitely go back.
The food is good, this was our 2nd visit. The fried artichokes were different this time then last .. that was disappointing. But overall we still enjoyed our dishes. 1st visit Spaghetti carbonara for me and mussels for the hubby. This time mussels and clams for him and veal saltimbocca for me. Delicious both meals.
Vivi is doing an amazing job during a crazy time. The service was perfect, the pizza was delicious the wine list was fairly priced.
Vivi's siuch a fun place. Delicious Italian options (we both had the muchroom Bruschetta, yum) and always lovely wines to pair with the food. We sat on the deck, with the heater going, it felt safe (Covid-wise), and was plenty warm.
Great lunch place after wine tasting.
The food was just okay. The shrimp app was not good, I would suggest skipping it all together. The bread tasted stale. But the Brussel sprouts were very good.
Drive past on way to work everyday and wanted to try. The food was very dissatisfying. The fettuccine with mushrooms had a overwhelming mushroom taste that I did not eat it. My husbands meatballs were burnt. There was 4 of us half the food was bad, not great for a $160 meal
Great service! Table for two was a bit small/crowded for drinks, bread, candle, beverage menu, plates, etc. Love to eat outside, there are great heaters and an outside fireplace.
Wonderful Covid seating environment. definitely recommend.
We were seated in the outdoor tent and it took 15 min. to get waited on. I had to ask for another glass as the table was not set correctly for our family. That should have been a sign. We were never given a wine list, although we saw the list at other tables. We sat shivering, because it was 39 degrees, for 1 hour and 15 min, until our food was brought out. No waitstaff stopped by to check on us. The only good thing was they offered to comp our bill and the food was hot when we finally got it.
The food at Vivi Pizzeria was out of this world. So delicious and freshly made. My only complaint is that we made reservations, but it was pretty much pointless because we still needed to wait in line. The whole processes of getting a table was really chaotic and unclear. Other than that, it was delicious food.
Consistent food and good service. We will definitely be back
The caprese and meatball appetizers were delicious! Despite being in a cold corner of the outdoor tent, we enjoyed dinner and the ambiance!
Arrived at 5:21. We were seated and the server came immediately. Ordered the food. More than 30 minutes went by the server/claimed manager said the food was going to be another 15 minutes. He said the kitchen was backed up and they have a very small pizza oven. He apologized but basically said there was nothing he could do. They don’t have heaters in the tent and I didn’t want to wait an hour for pizza. As I left I saw the TWO tables that were empty when I got there had their food including pizza. It was apparent he must’ve forgotten to put my order in. The kitchen wasn’t backed up when I arrived. Complete waste of time.
Service was very slow and food was sub par- not seasoned and flat, calamari was unseasoned and burnt. No heaters for the outdoor dining on a slope which I understand they are doing their best with the current situation. Went for drinks and apps - had to ask and flag down a wait staff to order anything but the original order. Brought food but didn’t clear anything from the table unless we asked. We honestly felt like they didn’t care if we stayed or went.
Good food, good service.
Outside dining without a lot of heat under a large tent. They have a vent in one corner of the tent. Ask for it if you can. The food was good, service was fine. I think everyone is adjusting to this new normal. Be kind.
Heater didn’t work and it’s cold
But other than that it’s good
