Will not be back to sit in outdoor tent - so loud and awkward seating angles.
We were sat quickly and a busser dropped off water and bread quickly. Then we never saw our server and no one ever came back. Not even a drink order. The table next to us sat after us and were attended to no problem. After 20-25 minutes, I went to the hostesses to tell her that no one has come to our table. All she said was “I’m sorry” and that was it. No effort to find the server or a manager. Nothing. I was immediately perturbed, so I told her we were leaving. And we left. When we arrived there I know we were checked in on the opentable platform, because as we were driving away I tried to figure out how to leave a review on the app and it showed my status as currently dining there. A couple hours later I get an email from opentable stating I was marked as a no show for the reservation. So I guess the restaurant went back after the fact and reported me as a no show, which isn’t cool at all.
Real busy on one of the first nice days of the year. Service was slow but friendly. Food was great.
Delicious and great service
Fantastic food and service! We’ll be back!!!!
Delicious food and great service. Outside seating was not comfy in the tent with direct sunlight and no breeze
-bread was hard. But was able to ask for a new one.
- birthday for my wife! This place is good but definitely not for birthday and or any occasion.
We went here to carb-load in the middle of a day of wine tastings. Casual, delicious, and exactly what we needed! The shrimp pesto pizza with ricotta was yum.
Staff was great and very helpful! The food was delicious. Definitely a nice mellow vibe. Great wine!
They seemed understaffed however very nice servers and great food. No water refills, slow food delivery but I get the sense it was just too busy for the amount of people working
They are always out of menu items. The food is rarely consistent, except for pizza. The staff is not trained well & has little supervision. It is expensive & the quality does not match the price.
Summary - unfriendly server, meh food, inaccurate menu, great bread & wine.
Went for our anniversary dinner. Greeted nicely and seated promptly and were brought some delicious bread. Unfortunately it was downhill from there.
Saw a fantastic looking serving of spaghetti. I almost ordered it but instead chose the chicken marsala, in part because the menu says it comes with a side of spaghetti (online menu reads differently) allowing me to try both. However, the side of spaghetti was actually noodles drenched in olive oil and a few mushrooms scattered in. The chicken marsala was the main course but found the chicken dry and tasteless. Both chicken and pasta was sitting in a thick layer of oil on my plate. The marsala sauce was tasty but there was far too little of it and all of 4 thinly sliced mushrooms. Very underwhelming, I did not finish it, nor the "spaghetti", which is almost unheard of for me.
The inattentive server never stopped by to see how things were. I requested a side of their spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce since that's what the menu had said when she came to clear. Several minutes later the server arrived with a bowl of Bolognese sauce, no pasta. I expressed confusion and she said oh, you said you wanted sauce for your spaghetti. I corrected her and said no, I thought the meal came with spaghetti with Bolognese and that is what I was asking for. No apology from her, just a snide ask if I wanted to put in an order for it which I did (took it to go).
With the arrival of the spaghetti she gave me the total and handed me the cc machine. I asked if I could see the itemized receipt but she couldn't provide until post transaction. On screen were the tip options. It appears it is now common for restaurants to include tax in the tip calculation. Huge negative! I find this disingenuous and greedy...at a minimum. Why am I tipping on the tax?
Upon departure no goodbyes, thanks for coming, how was everything...zero.
Vivi is a fabulous place to gather and enjoy one another's company with a great atmosphere and wonderful food. Try the brie/prosciutto/fig pizza!
What a great place for a date night! Servers were amazing and the food and drinks were also great
Amazing food, service & ambiance! We would 10/10 come again & will recommend to everyone!
My birthday dinner. I had read reviews that service was extremely slow. And it was. The place seemed busier than they could handle between take out orders and patrons in the restaurant. The noise level is loud, so for my hearing impaired father, it was hard to carry a conversation. Some of our orders had to be redone, and not all of my tables food came out together. But the food was great once we got it! Our server was lovely. I will definitely go back.
One of my favs, was excited to take my sister! Her chicken marsala was disgusting, one grisly chicken tender, sauce tasted like maple syrup. My salad was fine. My French fries were cold. 18th Birthday celebration for my daughter, very disappointing, won't be back. It was really noisy too, had to yell to speak. Waiter was nice but clearly distracted.
Nice place and delicious food
Made reservations and sat promptly. The food was fab as always. Thank you Tanya and Michael.
Enjoyed artichokes, calamari and risotto meatballs, all delicious. Our server Evan was efficient, professional and friendly. He added to a wonderful lunch experience!
I highly recommend this restaurant for your wine tasting adventures in the Hollywood District in Woodinville. They're kid friendly, dog friendly, feature a heated tent and patio or an outside dining area, your choice. You can even sit at one of the adjoining wineries (Gorman Winery and Patterson Cellars) and order pizza brought to your winery patio table, too. Besides incredibly good wood-fired pizzas, they offer appetizers (my favorite is the fried artichokes), salads (the Avocado Insalata has SO many fresh avocados on it!), a wide variety of pastas and other Italian dishes. They always accomodate my vegetarian diet, and offer gluten-free pizza crusts and quite possibly gluten-free pasta as well. A nice selection of local as well as Italian wines. We locals come here often, not just tourists!
Food is amazing but we came on a rainy day and it was way too cold to eat outside because they didn’t have any heaters. Would be nice to put some heaters out there until it consistently gets above 65 in WA.
Food was good. Service was poor. They forgot one of our orders. Tent was noisy and cold. Sloping tables.
We love your food, location, service and just everything about dining at your restaurant! Thank you!
Sadly we did not have a great experience. The service was super slow! Great location and excellent food... but I wouldn’t return right away because our dinner with our 3 year old lasted over 1.5 hours.
Shares building with two very busy wineries which is nice if you’re visiting a winery and want some food but it really slows down service for the restaurant. There are a bunch of kids working here running around and most don’t seem too experienced. It takes a long time to clear tables and even with a reservation we’ve had to wait a while. Their food is consistent and the menu has a big selection. The wine we order is often out of stock and the servers say they just don’t update the wine menus.
They had a table ready for our group and were very accommodating. The food and service were excellent!
It was a beautiful Sunday morning so not many people out yet but the food was great, the service impeccable, and very friendly!
Outdoor seating was comfortable with lots of distance between tables. The calamari was overcooked and mostly unseasoned which was disappointing given the healthy serving size (large platter). Salads were delish as was the pizza. They were able to get us fed and closed out quickly so we could make a wine tasting appointment next door. Will return.
Food was delicious, service was excellent. The atmosphere in the tent was comfortable and festive!
It is ridiculous how Vivi Pizzeria markets themselves on their website. The suppposed hand and homemade pasta, the artisan pizza...you would think you were going to a 4-5 star restaurant. That is why I made reservations for my husband and myself, but that is absolutely not what we experienced. This is Chuck-E-Cheese pizza for adults. We ordered the margherita, hoping for fresh mozzarella, basil and tomatoes, but what we received was soggy, greasy, and worse than frozen pizza. There’s nothing wrong with selling this level of food, it would be perfect for drunk, college kids, but don’t pretend to be something you’re not...that’s called false advertisement and leads to very unhappy customers leaving very bad reviews. The only thing redeemable about our experience was that the waiter was wonderful. We needed vegan options and he was very knowledgeable.
The menu caters to just about anyone. Lots of yummy Italian options. Good for kids/family. The only downside was the service was slow- so don't be in a rush. Would definitely go back though.
I am never disappointed when I eat here, love it!
Love Vivi’s for the food but the service is the worst. They really need a new manager and new tables .
Service needs major work.
Otherwise it’s great location,
Good food and good value overall!
Messed up service caused messed up orders! They could really use help with better servers
This is still my favorite place to get most Italian meals and always a great selection of wine. Servers are nice and always near to always available.
Fabulous service and delicious. Great place for groups.
I love Vivi pizza! The food is always amazing and the service is always fantastic! Even before And during covid getting a reservation has always been easy. We sat outside under cover and the heater was nicely placed and it was quiet. We really enjoyed our time! I highly recommend.
Great food and ambience. Always a fun time.
Both food and service was great. It was very pleasing.
