First time visiting Vivi --- great find while we were staying in the area. Food was SPECTACULAR. Great service and awesome vibe. Definitely a great place visit when Woodinville.
Excellent place. Have been here may times and they never disappoint! The menu has something for everyone.
Good little date place. Close quarters though so the table next to ya can definitely hear your conversation which can be a little weird. Overall a good place for a date. The food is always excellent!
We arrived at the restaurant at 5 pm. It was fairly empty at that time. We were seated quickly and didn’t have to wait too long on our food. The service was good and the prices of the food where reasonable. Nice and clean restaurant, I would definitely return.
I loved the food, wine, service. Of particular note is the Devil You Don’t Know glass of wine and the avocado salad. I was disappointed that there were TVs playing motocross in the dining room. It was very at odds with the atmosphere I think they are going for (casual but nice dining). Get rid of the TVs and I’ll be back for LOTS more.
Food was great and easy to share family style. Some great wines!
The best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to
It was delicious as always! Brought our kids and their boyfriend and fiancée. They had never been here so they were very happy! Thank you for a great lunch!
Food and service were great but the noise level was almost unbearable. Would not revisit due to that issue which is a shame because the food was excellent.
Amazing food!! Anything you get is good. Friendly service.
Great place, great food. We really enjoy it, but it is a little noisy, crowded (because it is popular),......which also stretches service a little thin.
Walked in. Seated immediately. The staff came to our table frequently. Very great experience.
The staff is friendly and food is good - it is a solid choice for those aspects. I have dined here twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. The ambiance at dinner is better than lunch with some dim lighting, but the noise level is almost unbearable. The restaurant has a strange mix with loud tables talking but sports on three large screen TVs in the dining room. It feels like they need to choose to be a restaurant or a bar, but right now it feels like both. On both occasions we sat at a two-top and it was an incredibly small table. It does not fit two pizza stands, dinner plates, water, and wine glasses well. There is only one bathroom for men and one for women and they are shared with the winery next door. While I recommend Vivi for the food and the friendliness, I caution anyone on these other inconveniences and strange ambiance.
Nice staff. Yummy pizza. Very accommodating. Pere pizza is delicious. My expectations of food and atmosphere are high. This place is a win in my book.
Food has always been excellent and so are the people. Highly recommended!
Amazing experience. The food, the wine, the service. It was a wonderful way to start the new year off!
Very good meal. Our waiter and bussing team were fantastic. It’s always good to go to Vivi’s!
Wonderful, rustic setting.....good service and great food!!!!
Family get together , cozy and great service
Another amazing dinner at Vivi. Went for my wife’s birthday and the crew at Vivi delivered. Super cozy table and impeccable team service. The pizza was amazing as always and don’t miss the Brussels sprout salad! Thank you for such a great meal.
The service and food have always been excellence. I took my grandma there for lunch and she's a bit picky eater. They were able to accommodate the changes she wanted and she loved her pasta. Thanks so much.
Total chaos we won’t go back
We make better pizza at home.
The servers were nice, though.
Do not order the porcini mushrooms on the pizza. We had to take them off they were awful.
Michael likes to blame everyone else for his shortcomings. I had to ask the hostess to send server to our table. When he came he said that the hostess never told him that we were there. Funny! When he took the order at the table next to us, he apologized for bumping our table...and then he went on to tell us that they were busy and short handed.... Sounds more like a “YOU” problem. Should customers really wait longer than 15 minutes to have a server come to their table?!? A table that got sat 10 minutes after us, got waited on first.
We did not eat there. We had reservations for 6:45. I did not realize that Woodinville HS had their Homecoming that night. Clearly, they overbooked. By 7:10, we were not moving in line. I saw a neighbor who had gotten to the front waiting on the side-lines. The noise was so loud you could barely hear what was said. It was for my Birthday, and I will try Vivi at a later time, but they need to rethink how they except reservations.
This was my third time visiting Vivi. I came with my family for a birthday celebration, which seemed to bother our server that we were a larger group. Not to worry, a bigger (and drunken) group came in not too long after us and totally disrupted the atmosphere. They were screaming, swearing, singing, and so on, without a single word from a restaurant employee to tone it down a notch. This was a bother to not only me and my family, but every other head-turning patron in the restaurant as well. The group was such a distraction, it took our wait staff away from our own group and resulted in cranky service when we did get it. I understand the group size is out of restaurant control and buzzed up groups may be expected in Woodinville's wine country, but when they become a nuisance to other guests, management should step in. The food and general atmosphere of the restaurant are always good, but maybe train your staff better to deal with unfortunate circumstances. Nobody likes a snooty server.
The food is fabulous, it’s a fabulous place for lunch and dinner .
The bussers were very attentive. Enjoyable as always.
Had the Margarita pizza and mushroom pizza. Bland, no real flavor, medium thickness dough which was too thick for the pizza style. Papa Murphy's in the house is 5 stars compared to this place and cheaper. Save your money or order something other than pizza. Good ambience and nice outdoor covered seating though. Might go back to try the pastas as they looked good.
Pizza came out cooked but not even warm, server took it back and heated it up, all was well . Chopped salad was not as good as usual - lacking in presentation & ingredients.
First off, we love Vivi Pizzeria. We've been coming here for over 4 years and conservatively have probably been here ~50 times. Maybe it's the overall popularity, maybe it's just the population growth, maybe it's even more people coming to Woodinville wine country over the weekend, but the experience has changed. It used to be a relatively well-attended but not packed place. Now - unless you go on Wednesday night at 5 PM - it's packed and it's as loud as a college bar during football season. The food, which had been consistently excellent, is now just good, and often uneven. This weekend, my veal - which I love - was overcooked - which is probably the 4th time in our last 10 visits that has happened. Last weekend, my wife's pasta was completely dry. The portions have gotten noticeably smaller as well, though that is from "big and a great value" to "not-as-big and just a good value". I can understand all the reasons, but it's still a bit of a shame to see some of the luster rub off what was one of our favorite restaurants. We'll keep coming, maybe at different times, but probably not as often, and sadly not on the weekends which is when we will could use a nice dinner at Vivi.
Great food and service!
I always recommend Vivi Pizzeria when customers come into my tasting room in Woodinville. We eat there often and always enjoy it.
We had a reservation but the table they were going to seat us at was right by the line up for the register so we asked for a different table. We were told we could sit at another table outside and they’d send a server over. Never got a server out there, not even for some water. After waiting for quite a while, my husband went back in to ask and he was told they don’t serve out there and by that time we lost our reservation. Not a great impression for our first visit. After I complained another employee apologized and brought us inside to a table, the waitress was attentive and really friendly, the food was great, lost one star because the first person was uninformed. Things to know, there are three businesses sharing that building and you are not allowed to drink anything that isn’t purchased from the business that is by that outside area. If you want to eat near the other two places, you have to order and pay inside the restaurant and they will only deliver your food...no other service will be offered. It’s a nice little place, nothing fancy but their pizza was really good.
We had a big group (~12) for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and the waitress was very accommodating to how we wanted to split the check, kept the drinks flowing, and didn't make us feel rushed. The food itself was amazing! Almost all of us ordered different pizzas and the Tanina was my favorite--so delicious! It was a little loud inside, but I expected that since we were a big group and on a beautiful, busy Saturday.
Very solid Italian fare. We went on a Thursday night and it was busy but we got seated right away. Took a little longer than it should have to get our meals but the result was terrific. Wedge salad and bolognese were both tasty. The calzone was overbaked (not quite burned) but ones I'd had here before have been perfect. We'll be back, after wine tasting or before a Chateau concert. Great location.
Celebrated my wife’s milestone birthday here and hit the restaurant trifecta... great food, great service & great prices! I’m not a thin crust pizza fan, but this is the best thin crust pizza I’ve ever had! The brussel sprouts were exceptional as were the garlic shrimp! Will definitely dine here again!
They were very busy when we were there most recently, so I think that led to a more disappointing experience than usual. Their pizza is our favorite, but it came out warm-ish, which certainly lowered my appreciation of it. There were gross floating things in our water jug (actually, same thing happened last time I was there, which I did mention to them.... so I think they need major improvement in cleanliness since it was not a one-off issue and they are ignoring customer comments). And the table bread was dry and hard with a couple blobs of a slimey orange substance on the bread and in the basket (likely food rubbed off from something else, but was clearly an accident). Needless to say, multiple things put on our table were unappetizing. Customer service was still great though. Very nice waitress that helped with our wine and dessert selection. Love the live music on the patio and their winery neighbor. Hopefully next time the food and cleanliness is better though!
A busy weekend night and being in the heart of wine tasting makes this a noisy place sitting outside and the staff a bit overwhelmed. Food was excellent as always. Just need to plan a better time to come enjoy it.
Love Vivi and have dined there many times. The food and service were excellent as always, but this time the noise level was very high and it was extremely warm in the restaurant. This can be solved by eating outside or at one of the adjacent wineries, but we had a larger party and that wasn't our best option.
