We love vivaces, we always make a point of having dinner several times when we are in the Tucson area. The food and drinks are excellent and great quality. The service is attentive and friendly.

We took our friend visiting from Boston for lunch. The food was fantastic (as always), the service was great and the outdoor patio gave us a great view into the Catalinas.

Lovely birthday celebration. The waiter was excellent, as was the meal.

It’s always wonderful When you can sit on the patio. If you were inside it can be very troubling the noisy.

This is our favourite spot when we visit from Pennsylvania each year. We are never disappointed with anything from staff to food . The quality and consistency for the past 10 years continues to lure us back.

Wonderful Italian fare served with a view. Try the spinach and cheese souffle for a starter-"melts in your mouth". The salmon and linguine and the mannicotti were outstanding! Candace did a great job serving us. Vivace is one of the best Italian restaurants we have experienced.

We were happy to see Athena back as our waitress. She is a gem. Also Felix and Istvan are our favorite waiters. The food is always outstanding. Danny should be proud of his oasis in the desert.

Not much more I can say since my last review. The food is outstanding. I always have the salmon croissant sandwich (without the croissant). The salmon is always perfectly cooked and comes with a light lemon butter sauce that is superb, sautéed spinach and a beautifully dressed and presented side salad. One of my very favorite meals. All the servers who have waited on us were very experienced with delightful personalities. I highly recommend Vivace, but be aware it's expensive. My salmon was about $22 (at lunch).

Brother visiting and as Italians we wanted him to taste and experience our fav restaurant. It was all good. He loved everything about the food and the wait staff etc.

As usual, our experience at Vivace was great. The food, the ambiance and our friendly server, AJ, made it special. AJ was professional, funny and accommodating. I will ask for a table in his area for the next time.

Everything was quite nice. The one issue is one person in my party was handicapped and coming in the handicapped door is WAY out of the way to check in for your reservation- up stairs, through the dining room to the front. Was shown a table in the rather deserted dining room. Asked if there was seating on the porch- was told there were not windows but a table in the middle was shown and most acceptable. Much nicer. Service was very good.

A great upscale Italian restaurant in the foothills. Being from Chicago I have been to many Italian restaurants and this food ranks near the top. I will tell you that the veal parmesan is the best I have ever tasted and I have ordered it 5 times and it never disappoints. The wine list is packed with reds that I enjoy. This place is always packed and I know why.

Very attractive setting and location in the foothills. Service was acceptable--waiter helped on advising on the menu, but couldn't help in wines and forgot to get our bottle of wine until we reminded him. The crab stuffed chicken was OK. Crab lacked full crab flavor and texture, and chicken was a bit dry. The combination was not as good as fish stuffed with crab. I had higher expectations for what was billed as one of the top restaurants in Tucson.

Always great food and service. In our recent experiences dining in Tucson, the noise level has been very high and the wait staffs seem to be rushing at a frenetic pace which is distracting. The Vivace wait staff is very efficient, but are unobtrusive. Diners can actually carry on a conversation. Highly recommended.

I lived in Tucson 12 years ago and Vivace was my favorite restaurant. Upon returning 3 weeks ago, I discover the restaurant was no longer on River where I left it all those years ago.

By accident my friend discovered the location while getting facial at Skin Spectrum.k We mad reservations for the next night.

Consistently the BEST restaurant in Tucson. I love bringing my guests there....no one is ever disappointed.

Enjoyed the lunch very much. The Anti pasta was perfect and a very large portion. We always love having lunch and dinner at Vivace. Always as special occasion.

We tried to catch lightning in a jar twice and were successful with our second time at this restaurant. They are consistently good here, with reliable friendly service and great food.
This is one of our, "go to" restaurants when we are in the Tucson area.

We loved our waiter and the food, as always, was delicious.

Started out with feeling like we were invisible, but finally after 10-15 mins & asking others "where is our server", she appeared. Very apologetic for the delay. Service was excellent after that. Food was SO GOOD, and came out very fast. We first had the grilled asparagus with parma ham on greens with balsamic vinegar, and the escargot. We both had the breaded, stuffed pork chop (with fontina cheese and spinach). Will definitely return, and looking forward to trying other dishes!

Food is so good, I love it! Please NEVER get rid of the shrimp salad. Whenever I come for lunch that is my favorite. Love your restaurant, sort of miss the old Vivachi, so small and quiet. I do realize your new beautiful location is a wonderful site for you and you are so busy. I will never quit coming to enjoy your wonderful restaurant and food!!!

My wife and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary, having dined here (back when it was Anthony's in the Catalina's) several times early in our marriage it was special to come back to the same location. The service, food and atmosphere were great!

We have always had good service and excellent food at Vivace's restaurant and this meal hit it on the head in both categories. Will continue to come over and over again.

WONDERFUL.....We travel down from Phoenix and every trip includes a meal here. We have tried many different items but all leave you wanting more. The Spinach and Cheese Souffle is so airy and yet full of flavor, the shrimp and crab cakes were quite exquisite. Two thumbs up for
the crab filled breaded chicken breast. The final touch was their fabulous bread pudding. Our
water was so informative and guided us to the dishes we would love. This place does an excellent job of service, food quality and friendliness. We just keep coming back.

Always our choice for a special occasion and everyday dining. The food is wonderful and consistently good, professional servers and beautiful setting. The daily fresh fish specials are much appreciated and always delicious. Definitely a Tucson gem!

This was our first visit to Vivace, but will not be our last. Very friendly, not rushed, excellent food, great views -- what's not to like. All in all, a top choice for Tucson.
