Great food. Great service ! Love the fountain !
Oops. I stated that we were celebrating an anniversary on our reservation but no special treatment was given. Didn’t want to ask the server as we were hosting the anniversary couple. Just saying a check of the reservation might be good. We were seated exactly where we requested on the reservation and all else was excellent.
Fabulous!! Everything about the place!! We were visiting Tucson from Chicago and will be back when we visit next time. I’d also recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Was one of the best dining experience I have had in my 65 years. Great view, excellent service, excellent food ( stuffed pork chop was a killer, very good prices. Overall just a very pleasing time. Went for a birthday but will be back soon as this was the first time.
Great Italian food in a nice setting. Would definitely go there again if I’m in Tucson.
It was our first time dining here. The food was great, the service even better. Will definitely go back when we return.
Always, especially today, is a wonderful meal and service.
Went to dinner with my coworker and it was absolutely amazing. Our server was one of the best I’ve ever had. The food was delicious and good positions. The view from the foothills- breathtaking.
The escargot was the best I’ve ever had! Food was great service awesome
As usual service and meal was wonderful. We both had one of the specials - Australian pink snapper with a cucumber and tomato salsa on top. It was superb. We are never disappointed when we go to Vivace.
We chose Vivace's to celebrate my student earning his PhD. We had a wonderful evening. The staff was so accommodating and really gave attention to our guests and the reason for the special evening. The food was fantastic, as always. It is always a special place.
First time at Vivace , everything was 5 Star , the hostess , service and food . Wish there was one in my home town !
Polite service and excellent food. One of our favorite places in Tucson. The views are amazing!
Excellent as usual. This is “ITALIAN”. Tucson’s best.
Vivace continues to deliver fantastic food and great service in a nice foothills location. The chefs are always accommodating to our special requests. It was our favorite spot to go when we lived in Tucson and it is a can't miss place every time we visit from North Carolina. Don't miss Tucson's best restaurant!
Excellent food, incredibly fresh and flavorful. Wonderful service. Personal and professional.
This restaurant never fails. The cheese manicotti is wonderful as is the pasta and sausage, but the bread pudding is my favorite food. They do a large pour of wine and the coffee is great! It is well worth a drive from anywhere.
Always enjoy the food and ambiance at Vivace. It's such a pleasure each time I return to see the same waiters and knowing that they are happy with their jobs. Plus, the martinis are the best in town! I have eaten there many times, but always return to my favorite entree', the Spinach Souffle.
Always a favorite. The staff, food, service, atmosphere... all wonderful! The food is consistently good and I never have to worry when I make a reservation to entertain a client that it will be anything less than 5-star! Thank you!
It was a Birthday celebration and it was just perfect, including the desert with candle!!!
A good drive north of town; but well worth the trip. We were referred to this restaurant by long time residents who own and operate a 5 star resort and restaurant in Alamos, Mexico. Their recommendation as one of Tucson’s best restaurants was right on target.
As early diners, we were amazed how busy the place was at 6pm.
Great, somewhat reasonably priced (though with high end selections available) wine list had many excellent choices and we ordered a husky California red. Our server, AJ, was a highly trained, efficient pro, though he was spread too thin, handling more tables than reasonable (someone obviously was late for work), making his time to visit limited.
Fortunately, we had previewed the menu and were ready to order with no questions.
As per our friend’s recommendation, we split the pear salad and also split the sausage and pasta dish. Both were excellent, and even with the split, we were unable to finish the entree.
Me, my husband, and my brother thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Vivace! I have a very strict diet--vegan, gluten and dairy free--and our waitress was able to come up with the perfect dish to fill my craving for red sauce. My husband is just very particular and she was able to take care of his wishes, also. My brother ordered off the menu and was very happy! Great service, food, selection, and price!
Never had a bad meal here. Food is always excellent!!!
The food is good but the sound level is too loud, the light level is too low and the waiters move too quickly like they’re always late. They should divide the room up into sections and have spot lights on each table or at least put a candle on the table. Also, the management should know that almost everyone is leaving with a doggie bag so the servings are too large.
Exceptional service from Tommy, the food was great, good wine list, excellent service. My wife and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary there last Sunday
Along with Fleming's, which serves entirely different type of food, Vivace is by far the best restaurant in Tucson. It can be very difficult to get a reservation, so if you have an occasion in mind, book a long time ahead of your event, even if it's a lunch. The food is clean, elegant, and outstanding.
Best restaurant in Tucson! Great service and consistently exceptional quality with their food. I highly recommend it.
Been to Vivace many times and it very rarely disappoints. They seated us where I asked, service was outstanding, and we had a very enjoyable time. Thank-you so much
One of the very best restaurants in Tucson. There's a reason they have been in Tucson for so long. They've found what makes it special, and haven't made too many changes. The food and service are always excellent.
Excellent food and service. Great wine list and realistically priced.
Vivace is a fabulous place for lunch. Beautiful setting, great food and service. Fish of the day with vegetable rice is incredible
We dined on a Monday evening in June with 3 friends from Canada on the North patio. Magical. Ambience, food, wine pairing, peaceful surroundings, were splendid.
My favorite alfresco Tucson restaurant experience.service is a bit slower than other restaurants, but so what. All meals were terrific. Kudos to Daniel Scordato. You rock!
Our first experience here, and we were delighted. It was a nice variety of food with a range of prices. And of course the views are always top of the line.
We both had shrimp & crab cakes with salad. The salad was greens with a vinaigrette containing too much oil. Service was good. We were able to converse without distraction. The restaurant was quiet. A large party in the lower dining room did not distract from our meal.
It is always great at Vivace. Evonne at the "welcome desk" is a great lady plus our server was AJ. They are both dynamite.
AJ remembered exactly what I had ordered from 3 weeks ago, amazing.
The four of us had a fine time, excellent meals, and superb service from Felix -- great as always and Kelly, who poured a superlative Pinot Noir/Sonoma wine for three of us (my driver abstained) We enjoyed chicken, pork and beef dishes of Vivace excellence. Thank you, well be back. Really, Kelly, the wine was simply outstanding!
Beautiful view of city lights from one dining room, so request that. No view from patio.
Upscale lovely experience. Staff made every effort to accommodate our request for a view, and we appreciated that having not requested the right room. Beautiful evening, excellent traditional Italian food. Will return!
Made dining reservations for my birthday dinner over a month ago and requested a window table with a city view, which we did not get, and instead were sat at a table in the middle of the floor. There were other couples being sat at the window tables after we arrived, which was frustrating. My fiance ordered the veal and was terribly disappointed. I tried it myself and was shocked at the poor quality of this meal which tasted and looked like a T.V. dinner. I ordered the nightly special which was a Branzino with rice and veggies, and it was much better than my fiance's dinner to say the least. After finishing dinner, I did not receive any complimentary dessert for my birthday, which was specified upon making the reservation. The server we had was amazing, but other than that, our overly priced dining event did not live up to this restaurant's hyped-up reputation. We were severely under-whelmed by our experience here.
