Food was amazing!!
Vivace on a Saturday night is a popular and fairly loud destination. We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation and had a very nice dinner. Salads, entrees and dessert were all executed well. Our waitress was friendly and did not try to rush any of the courses. Dinner for two with wine & tip was ~$185.00 - a little pricey but not too bad.
It was an amazing experience! My boyfriend and I wanted a nice restaurant to celebrate two years of dating. We decided to come here and we were so glad we did! Our server (cannot remember his name) was so great and gave us complimentary tiramisu. The waiter was extremely attentive, and recommended dishes to us. Food was absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend for anyone.
Whatever you order you can expect it to taste delicious. I've been eating their "Redbird " chicken w/ peppercorn sauce for a very long time. Sauteed perfectly.
Service has always been impeccable and they have all my favorite adult beverages.
Not sure if they have a "captain's list " for additional wine selections other than what's on the menu. Although the wine is eminently adequate, I'm spoiled.
The food and service were excellent. Our waitress was awesome!! Very attentive and professional. The view of the city was beautiful. Overall, a great experience!!
Once again, everything at Vivace was perfect for our Friday night dinner out. Tess was our outstanding waitress. The martini from the bar was perfection, the mussel appetizer delicious and the bread with pesto is always terrific. My husband had the stuffed pork chop and I had the Branzino fish special which was perfectly prepared. Vivace has become one of our favorite restaurants in all of Tucson. We drive 40 minutes from the far east side just to dine here. I have only one complaint and it's a small one. I'd like to see a French white wine available by the glass; a sancerre or a sauvignon blanc from the Touraine region/Loire Valley.
Good portions but average quality. Not what we consider good Italian food. Service was good but overall value average..
Meh... ordinary as usual
We are weekly regulars for lunch at Vivace. Once again, we had a charming time with prompt service, excellent meals, fine coffee and great takeout. We both requested the New Zealand salmon over steamed spinach with Italian greens, side salads. Simply superb fish, prepared with elegance! As usual, David took great care of us. We simply cannot speak too highly of Vivace. Consistent excellence with great attention to detail in a pleasant environment.
Thank you, we’ll be back!
The food was very mediocre. We sat down to dirty silverware. The world of elegant siding and polished silver seam to have gone astray. I can’t say anything bad nor anything good about the food
We enjoyed a lovely, quiet meal on the patio. Thank you, Daniel, for helping make my husband's birthday special.
We enjoyed watching sunset on the Catalinas through the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows while sipping our wine and savoring the pesto spread on crunchy rustic bread. Our pear and walnut salads were wonderful and the eggplant in marinara and grilled chicken with risotto were delicious and flavorful. The tiramisu for my husbands 75th birthday dessert was heavenly. We will visit again soon. Vivace is above the rest. Thank You!
Service—menu —ambiance-all exceptional Randy greeted us and took care of our car —Bella was our waitress and provided excellent service —ambiance is lovely and calming —we love coming here
Always a winner!
Had not been to Vivace for a few years. Food was good but my entree was served warm not hot. Waiter was gave the impression that he was less than interested in serving us. Took over 30 minutes for one of us to get a beer that was on tap after ordering and following up twice. Location is still beautiful.
Wonderful authentic Italian restaurant with an impressive affordably priced wine list
As usual, a fantastic dining experience at Vivace. Food was superb as expected. As was the service. Just a shout out to our waiter William R who was exceptional: knowledgeable, courteous, helpful. When the meal was served, there was a mistake in one of the orders. William immediately took responsibility for the problem and offered to correct it promptly. However, the problem was easily solved at the table with diners changing platters with minimal fuss and the agreeable concurrence of all involved. I would suggest that the professionalism of William provided the atmosphere for the ease of the resolution of the problem - which really was no problem at all, in the end. Damn we love this place. We resolved when we left that our regular Friday lunch group will now meet at Vivace the second Friday of every month. Good decision in my opinion.
Dined with our daughter during U of A family weekend. The staff was very attentive in helping us find the perfect table. Food and wine were outstanding and the view was lovely. We would have preferred the city view tables and will request that next time.
Entered the restaurant after valet took our car(complimentary, and a good idea due to small parking lot) to a quaint bar at front by the hostess stand. Everyone was smiling a quickly took us to our table. The dining area is glamorous, and the outside area were we sat was as well. It looked like the perfect place for a wedding reception, classy and elegant. We sat at a table far from the door, as there were a couple large parties outside that noise level would of ruined the romantic atmosphere our table had. The only complaint would be lack of light made it difficult to see, but not a big deal. Our server was delightful, professional yet cutesy and super nice. My wife is pregnant, so instead of pushing the wine she steered us to a delicious berry ice tea (we plan on coming back after baby is born, to get the full experience). We had the Burrata app, a delicious start to our meal. I ordered the crab filled chicken, while my wife had a pasta. We loved them both! The side of veggie rice with the chicken was a pleasant surprise. Generous portions for both of our meals. For desert, I got the tiramisu and my wife got the bread pudding. Heaven on both! My only complaint, for lack of better word, would be they use type of alcohol as part of the flavor profile for the tiramisu, meaning my wife could not partake in sharing ( more for me!) we left full and stuffed, completely satisfied.
Natasha our server was excellent, attentive but not obtrusive. The food of course was fantastic! We brought a friend who had never eaten there before and she was VERY impressed! We had a great table with a view of the city. Overall a delightful dinner!
Great Restaurant Run Right! Best Tucson restaurant. Ambiance, selection, quality, value, location — all outstanding. Can you tell that we love this place? Proceeding from the far NW side of Tucson, we swung by Broadway & Swan for brief but urgent business at The Williams Center, arriving over half an hour late for our lunch reservations. Greeted by the charming, smiling faces of Junna & Bobbi at the front desk, we were escorted to our table, where solicitous server, Vanessa and special assistant, Yvette took over with provision of chilled water, warm bread fresh from the oven, butter, pesto and great coffee. My guest, selected his favorite luncheon antipasto, while I chose the clearly magnificent, imported, New Zealand salmon on steamed spinach. It’s simply the best salmon I’ve ever eaten!
If you are perusing these many five-star reviews, wondering if it’s worth your while to drive up to Vivace, please know that it clearly is well worth the drive to this marvelous location overlooking all of Tucson. And, it’s the staff, who make all the difference. Vanessa went out of her way for us, providing our orders promptly, keeping the coffee flowing, and graciously checking that our needs were met. Everything was, as usual, clearly outstanding. This wonderful restaurant works so well because the people work so hard and coordinate excellently with each other. Owner, Daniel Scordato, has assembled and retained a truly superb staff. Don’t miss this place. I don’t expect perfection, but I do encounter excellence at Vivace.
The food and service was impeccable. Just a most pleasant dining experience.
The food was not up to standard we both got ill after eating there.
Jackie did a helluva a server job! Food was excellent.
Always a special place for us. We had dinner outside in the courtyard under a lovely olive tree. Our service was excellent. The food was very good. Desert was delicious! This was for our anniversary and everything about Vivace was perfect.
My favorite restaurant in Tucson. Food is excellent and consistent, beautiful views, wonderful service (favorite waitstaff is Kamron) by all and owner and manager make all feel welcome!
Outstanding food, atmosphere, and location. Thank you for maintaining such high standards.
We stopped for our 35th anniversary to have lunch. Our server was good, however, the table looked out over the parking lot. We had requested a view and even though tables available over our lunch with better view it was clearly inconvenient to change tables. Food is unimaginative and lacking any creativity. Salmon farmed and pasta bland with chopped tomatoes. Pork chop bland and sauce tasted like from a jar. Best part of lunch was the Flowers Pinot. No acknowledgement of our 35th anniversary from our reservation request and we will not return and would not recommend. Past it’s prime for sure.
We sat on the patio and had a very quiet, enjoyable evening. We had stopped going to Vivace due to the excessive noise in the restaurant. This dinner experience was far nicer. The waiter held our main courses until we finished our appetizer. We really appreciated that.
Service was excellent, however our seating area was a bit warm other than that everything was exceptional!!!!
Excellent service, food, drinks, beautiful patio.
We love going there every time we visit Tucson. Wonderful ambiance.
Food is consistently good. Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly service
Took the friends out for their 50th anniversary, and they enjoyed it… They are Italian, and so they enjoyed the food very very well. I personally as I have written before… Prefer the previous location as opposed to the large open seating. Plus this is the second time they seated us in the main area, as opposed to having a view. I did not request that but I just Assumed that they would share that seating area. Especially with the fact that we dress appropriately. We don’t wear blue jeans and a hat like some of the guests.
I realize in business to make money, but wouldn’t it be nice if we had a dress code. No denim, no shorts, no baseball hats. Collared shirts. At least dress like a golfer
My friend and I had a charming time at Vivace for lunch. Greeted by the dynamic duo, ladies: Bobbi and Junna at the front desk, we settled in for a great meal. Clearly, we were not disappointed. My pal, Dave, requested the antipasti plate, while I selected the marvelous, Vivace shrimp & mushroom salad. Our server, David, provided meals, coffee and a dinner-sized take home portion of Chicken Meatballs over capellini for my wife. We attempt to arrange our schedules to include a visit to Vivace, three to five times a month for a fine lunch, discussion of our research projects, and the opportunity to enjoy the delightful location surrounding the restaurant. Dining at Vivace is always a special experience. It never grows old. We particularly appreciate the friendly staff, who greet us by name, as well as the helpful valet parking and convenience of handicapped access. GRRR! Great Restaurant Run Right! We’ll be back, thank you!
Happy with the gluten free options. Great flavors
At the pinnacle of Tucson dining, Vivace never disappoints. We love their fresh fish offerings, the very best veal Marsala, excellent Caesar salad, and wonderful desserts! Great service and beautiful ambience complete the experience!
One of the best restaurants in Tucson. We try to enjoy this treat once a month.
