Mexican gastronomy, with its great variety of traditional regional dishes, is rich in flavour, aroma, and colour. Its origins go back to the Aztecs and even before. Its most basic ingredient is corn, which is excellent for gluten free diets. The gastronomy is based on ancient recipes that have been passed on from generation to generation. Other staples in the diet include beans, eggs, and cheese - be assured that we are able to provide interesting vegetarian dishes.

    Regional Mexican cooking - we are authentic Mexican and our menu does not include the usual chilli-con-carne, burritos, fajitas, and chimichangas, which are Tex-Mex. However, we do have Enmolada, Pozole, Huarache, Pellizcada and other authentic dishes, as well as a good selection of Mexican wines, beers, Tequilas, and Jarritos (Mexican Sodas). Our coffee is Mexican Finca Muxbal. <br />We have vegetarian options and Gluten free dishes.

During the day, from Monday to Saturday, there are a number of car parks offering 3 hours free parking (Asda 2.5 hours), with the two nearest being Diamond Street and Sheene Road which is on Wesley Street just before the Car Wash and McDonalds. Sunday street parking is mostly free.

    By bus :Bedminster is approximately an 8 minutes bus ride from the City Centre, from Bus Numbers 24, 25, and 75, with Bus Number A1 also leaving from Temple Meads railway station. By train: Bedminster has its own railway station, with connections to Weston-Super-Mare and Newport stations.

    Thoroughly recommend this restaurant - the food is always amazing and as authentic Mex-Mex as you're ever going to get ioutside of Mexico! The enchiladas are to die for and I have yet to find anything on the menu that I haven't liked! Will definitely be visiting again.

    Incredibly slow and disinterested service apart from some tables containing friends Not authentic food and certainly not Mexican style hospitality

    We were looking for somewhere interesting to have a late evening meal and this was one of the few places to serve late. It's probably therefore unfair to suggest there was not much atmosphere because it was way past most peoples eating time and so was empty. However it was a nice place and the food was proper Mexican

    Amazing food, great margaritas and a wonderful atmosphere. We've been here several times now and have yet to find anything in the menu we haven't liked!

    The food did not have much flavour. The coffee was not very good. All in all not good. Poor service only part of the table cleared. Would not go back.

    While it was obviously a quiet night of the week, there were still a good dozen people in this small place and the food was unique (in the good way) and incredibly tasty. Not as spicy hot as I was expecting, but that was remedied with some extra chipotle.

    We've been to this restaurant a couple of times now and it has always been amazing - great food, good atmosphere - will hopefully make this a regular haunt!
