Vitrine – St. Regis Hotel is a full service restaurant located on the fourth floor of the hotel premises, ladling American breakfast and lunch to the lodging and visiting gourmets. Netted curtains allow plenty of light to illuminate the dining area, while the sage green and white decor gives Vitrine – St.Regis Hotel an elegant look. Herringbone patterned timber floors the interiors with the customers being served on sleek and stylish dining furniture.

In the breakfast, the patrons are served with egg staples, panini, fruit salad, buttermilk pancakes, French toast and cereals. Brunch and lunch menu includes grab-and-munch platters, croissants, oysters, rib eye beef and cure ham along with a number of other ladled selections. Vitrine – St.Regis Hotel also has a full bar to complement the dining experience.

We had breakfast meetings for business three morning in series. Owing to good atmosphere, quiete and good meal, we successfully set up good relationship with our business associat. It is apperant that Vitrine is better than restaurants in other hotels for breakfast.

I had friends in from out of town and our plans for brunch on a Saturday morning fell through. Someone recommended Vitrine at the St. Regis Hotel and we immediately made a reservation. We truly could not have asked for better service. The hosts were very welcoming and seated us immediately and the wait staff was very attentive and charming. What was initially a disappointing "make up" brunch turned into a wonderful and relaxing experience with friends. By the end of our meal, we were laughing like crazy people (which we also are!) Thank you to everyone at Vitrine for allowing me to really impress my girlfriends!

Looking around for a brunch on Mother's Day I came upon St. Regis, and found to my surprise that it was available and that everything about the place was just fine. My family of 8 loved the brunch, even the young grandchildren.
Highly recommended for special occasions.

We ate brunch here with a group, one person in a wheelchair, and very easily and helpfully accommodated. The staff, to a person, was very attentive and friendly. It's an elegant setting in the St. Regis Hotel on the fourth floor, with white tablecloths, etc., and the food is very good and lovely presentation - but it is expensive (and small complaint, the coffee wasn't very hot). The truffle frittata with frisee salad on top was excellent - others had pancakes and eggs, omelette of the day, steel cut oatmeal, etc. and juices were fresh and delicious. Access to SF MOMA couldn't be better--it's right next door.

It took us awhile to learn about Vitrine, but, now that we've found it, we visit frequently. The food is very good, but it is the service that distinguishes this restaurant...absolutely the best and most accommodating restaurant I know.

Our waiter was very charming and everything from the amuse bouche to our cocktails was delicious. One warning though: the orange marmalade is super bitter, definitely not for everyone.

Great place for breakfast or lunch! Fresh yogurt and fruit smoothies, fresh fruit for all seasons and the bagel and nova Liz are out of this world.

The food is mediocre and the service is pretentious. If you only have 6 things on the menu, I expect them to be good. Asking me how I want my $29 burger prepared and serving it well done when I ask for medium rare is embarrassing. I feel ripped off and I wasn't even spending my own money.

The service was excellent. The server replaced my coffee 3 times due to coffee grinds and the coffee was not enough. We went there at 11:30 am and most of the guests were not there. The price is higher but it is a very quiet setting.

Everything at Vitrine was fantastic! From the delicious food to the great service, very friendly staff. You couldn't have asked for more. I was there with friends for our AAA 25th anniversary and it was a wonderful way to end our weekend there at the St. Regis. Keep up the great work and delicious food. Give your staff a raise as they deserve it. Our waiter was named "Carlos" and he was great.

Our reservation was at Vitrine....however, we were informed when we arrived that Vitrine was closed and we would be seated in Ame instead...which is located by the lobby vs. the restaurant that we reserved. Most disappointing change not communicated in the 3+ emails from Vitrine confirming the reservation. Servers were from Vitrine but unfamiliar with the space where we were. Requests for some items....syrup for the French Toast....resulted in the response " I'll get some from the 4th floor". Food was Ok but not outstanding. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A long time friend and I met here for Brunch on Christmas Day and both were extremely pleased with the food. We both do some catering so appreciate when the taste and the presentation compliment each other.
Do try Vitine. I think you will be happy you did!

Even though they accepted our reservation, the restaurant is closed. However, from the time we arrived in the courtyard of the St Regis, they handled us professionally walking us to another restaurant on their ground floor (Vitine is on the fourth floor). We met friends there for Christmas brunch. The menu was Vitrine's standard weekend brunch menu with options galore. The restaurant, while nothing special, did their best. That said, if I was the St Regis, I would be embarrassed to accept reservations for a restaurant that is closed.
