Really wonderful! Have gone many times and always the good has been superb. Went once with Vegan friend and they were very happy with their food and the choices they had.
Easy location to find but parking is tight. On line reservation was in hand and we sat down within 15 min of our time. Excellent food and service.
We enjoyed the meal from the calamari to the tiramisu. Had lasagna , lobster ravioli, and chicken marsala. Each dish was very tasty.
Some of the best Italian you will fin din the valley. When they are busy it will take a while for your food to arrive but it is worth the wait. Their menu is available via take-out if you want some excellent food on the grab-and-go scene.
The food was very good and the service was as well.
Vito's is one of the best restaurants in Mesa, AZ. Best Italian for sure!
Wonderful value. Excellent service. Good portions and house wine.
We arrived early & were still seated quickly. Not even sure they realized we had open table reservation. Great food, ok wine list which could be easily improved on.
The food is outstanding. Very friendly and competent waite staff. Truly enjoyable.
First trip to Vito's. Food was excellent, service was great. Tremendous menu selections. We opted for soup/salad/entrée, going to try pizza at some time in the future. We went on a Friday night, must be Senior night. Most of the conversations across the seating area were held at just under yelling volume, sort of annoying. The 2 senior couples seated next to us found it necessary to comment on our menu selections, and felt the need to engage in our conversations. Fortunately, at some time in the near future these damn snowbirds will go home, and the rest of us can enjoy our meal in peace.
Vito's is our favorite Italian restaurant because of their gluten-free options. I've never been disappointed. I always have half a meal left to enjoy the next day as portions are very generous. We split a dessert which was amazingly good,
Food was great (probably the best Italian food we have had) and Mickey, our waiter, was fantatastic.
The ambiance could be a little bit spicier with a little louder Italian music but my wife and I was celebrating our anniversary and enjoyed our dinner.
We have visited twice in February. First was for my birthday with family. Second visit was with friends visiting from out of state. Both times the food was outstanding as was our servers. Great menu too.
Once again, Vito's did not let us down. Everyone's meal was delicious. Service was terrific. Left there happy and well fed.
Nine of us enjoyed a great lunch at a reasonable price.
We were on our way to the Mesa Art Center and wanted a nearby place. Veal dishes were superb! Waiter respected out timeline and was very pleasant. We thought the portions were huge and had dinner the next night from the leftovers. A very good find for when we go to the Center again.
We always enjoy eating at Vito's. Haven't been disappointed yet.
Great pizza as always!! Super service !! Our fav for authentic Italian pizza.
very timely seating, good seats.
food was great ,service exceled
Service and food good put us at a table built for 4 not 6 really crowded
every time we arrive in Phoenix this is the first place we go. we have traveled extensively and they have the best calamari we've ever tasted. in season they are very busy during early dinner times and I would strongly recommend reservations.
Salad was fresh with a good variety of greens. Garlic bread was buttery hot and served with delicious marinara sauce. Our pizza was amazing ‼ lots of toppings, cheese with just the right amount of sauce. Served piping hot ... only problem we encountered was upon arriving Vito's did not have a record of our reservation. They did find seating for us quickly but were disappointed that there was no record for it.
Food, drinks and service always wonderful!
After booking though open table, receiving a confirmation of my booking, and receiving a reminder of my reservation the day before the date, our party of 4 arrived at the packed restaurant for our 6pm, Friday night reservation, only to be told that they had no record of our reservation and that we would have to wait for a table to be available. Not impressed with this reservation system!
My party loved the relaxed feeling of this Ristorante –it was like dinning in a friends home.
The food was outstanding and enjoyed by all. The service was also outstanding and they checked on us a on a regular basis. The food and wine was at a reasonably price and the total was very reasonable for my party.
Went for Birthday and to eat the special foods they advertised via email to us. Said they were available 12/22-12/28. Ordered foods and they came back and said it wasn't available. They messed up and did not have foods to make it. Big mistake as we were regulars there. Have heard from others that they have had problems during their recent visits also. Bad deal😕
First of all the food was wonderful although the price was in my opinion too high the only other thing that sticks out or stands out to me is that even after making a reservation we still had to wait 30 minutes.
I had not been there in more than 10 years and had forgotten how GOOD everything was. Excellent service, visually attractive food with a wonderful melding of flavors. Ample room between tables, the only thing I wish were different was the small sign for the rest room.
Put us by the bathroom when there were other MT tables. Ruined the evening. But the food was good as always.
It had been a few years since we last visited Vito's and we were hoping to find a restaurant that would be a regular "go-to" for Italian and pizza for our transplanted friends from New Jersey. When our group of 6 arrived we were greeted immediately by a friendly hostess and we were seated immediately at a very nice table that was spacious and in the center of the room. Our waiter made a few recommendations for drinks and let us know the soup of the day. Everything was fabulous from the service to the drinks and entrees, right on down to the dessert. We will definitely be returning for a group pizza night.
As always very great food. Love the thin crispy crust, with just the right balance of toppings on the deluxe pizza. Comes out to the table as requested. Easy sauce well done. Service was great and food comes quickly. A little too noisy when busy and it is usually busy. Can't help that others enjoy it too.
Good pizza, pasta, service. They have definitely improved.
Steven, our waiter, is our favorite (or his son). Great servers, friendly and the owner is always there to greet us.
This was my first experience at Vitos's and every aspect was exceptional! We asked to dine on the outside patio, which was, so private and pleasant. Food and service were awesome. The Happy Hour Menu is a great value....
The food is always great here especially the pizza, they have so many options and great seafood too!
Food is always good. Service was exceptional. Good place for larger groups in lovely room downstairs.
My family loves Vitos! Brought 2 people that had never been but heard family talk about how great it is, they had to go while visiting from California.
Went here for lunch with a group of coworkers to celebrate summer birthdays. The food was delicious. They will serve dinner entrees (that aren't on the lunch menu) at lunch, even giving a lunch portion/price. :) The service is wonderful.
We've been long time Vito's patrons. The food is always good. The service was lacking in this last visit. Couldn't find our reservation at first, slow to get drinks, food took a really long time for only 4 people (30 mins). However, the food was great. The pizza, summer salad, stuffed chicken breast special and chicken penne arrbiatta was delicious. Normally, we order delivery and its delivered quickly and correctly.
Still the good pizza i remember, but place is run down and lacking management. Beer was served warm in warm glass. Restaurant temp was not comfortable. Service was lacking. Overall sense of malaise. Opt for takeout or set expectations lower if dining in.
