Out of all the restaurants in Orlando I’ve had the most great experience in superb dining right here at Vito’s. Couldn’t ask for better service any where else. We will return again in 7 days to experience excellence again
Crab claws were great as was complimentary sample of bisque however, once again my medium bone in sirloin is way under cooked. I get there a few times a year usually bring a large group and have tried to stay loyal vs the other local choices but I can’t any more to inconsistent. It took a bit so my colleagues were done before it was returned and the potatoes were now cold.
Also, Michael who I have had before, is so loud selling his table that he interferes with conversation two tables over. He is knowledgeable but we are not there for him to be entertained. Especially annoying was going through the special deal for locals if they go on line and fill out the survey as excellent. Please
I have had many a good time at Vito’s but to many poor ratings and to many other choices. Del frisco, Capital Grill and Oceanaire are all better choices for me
2nd night in a row. Highly recommend!
Good service but given worst table in the restaurant next to door asked for one of the free tables inside the dining room, more then 3 free at time told they were reserved, 3 hours later tables all still vacant not used from 730 to 1030 when we left! Not sure why treated that way but service from waiter Was excellent ! Complimentary valet except was told by attendant he’d only park my car if I took care of him! Would have but with that provision made clear from beginning it was easier to park myself and avoid the attitude! Would likely not recommend in future although food and location good.
Fantastic place and great food.I recommend .
Fantastic food and wine. The setting was great and intimate and the noise level was good. All around a great experience.
Vito's Chop House was fantastic! Everyone was super friendly, from the minute you walk in the door, not to mention how amazing it smells! Our server, Wanda was great, very knowledgeable about the menu and food and checked on us often throughout the evening. The food was delicious! Every appetizer (calamari, stuffed mushrooms and mozzarella malazon) was superb and although when we booked this restaurant, I was totally getting a steak dinner, I went with pasta because it was a Friday during Lent. They do not have meatless pasta, but were happy to make me rigatoni with marinara sauce. The caesar salad was huge (I should've split it with my son, instead of us both getting one) and the best I've ever had. My husband had the filet and our friends had fish, all of which were fantastic. They also give you a basket of cheesy garlic rolls - Yum! The owner/manager came by several times, making sure we were happy and thanking us for dining there. The desserts were the size of our heads and even though we were stuffed, we had to try 2 (chocolate cake and another cake with ladyfingers and amaretto) and of course they were great, with homemade whipped cream on the side. We will always dine at Vito's when we are in Orlando!
We just had the best meal we've ever had at Vito's Chophouse in Orlando. The decor and ambiance was exactly what we favor. We were given a gift card (that was why we went there) but we didn't have it with us. The manager (Ibrahim) assured us he would take care of it. He started making phone calls, one to daughter Lindsey (who gave us the gift card). We weren't sure. We weren't sure even HE was sure. Sure enough, about a half hour into our meal, he came to our table with a smile and a copy of the gift card. He had come to reassure us a few times up until then, once with the best lobster bisque on earth, apologizing. Geez, it was OUR fault!
Every course was perfection. The taste and presentation of each was the best. Our waiter (Shawn) was the best. The entire staff was the best too. I know, I know. But it's true. "The best" is the only way to describe our dining experience. I give it 10 stars. Yes, I know it's only 5 stars. We agree it deserves 10 stars. It is way beyond anything we've had in the past. Can NOT wait to go there again.
Service was impeccable as usual. We frequently dine here but it must of been an off night. The mozzarella malazon wasn't cooked well because the cheese was cold in the middle and both of our filet mignons weren't cooked to our liking (medium well) they came out rare. The chef did come out of the kitchen to make sure we were satisfied after it was prepared again. The staff was very accommodating.
very good as always have been there numerous times never lets me down
great location and the help are super
We were in town for a convention and picked this restaurant to take one of our clients to dinner, atomisphere was nice , food was pretty good but a bit on the high side , 7-8 out of 10 for taste, 7-8 of 10 for price and value, I'd return if it’s a company event, not sure if I’d spend my own $$ on this one....
The food was good to great, but one guests steak arrived at tbe table stone cold. Service was on the slow side. Enjoyed the visit with friends but was slightly disappointed based on the restaurant's reputation.
Ate in the bar. Anthony provides great cocktails and advice for food and wine pairing.
Brought my wife here for fine dining , we very happy and satisfied
This is a nice restaurant, but pricey, and given the price, the service did not measure up. The food is good, especially liked the beef carpaccio appetizer! We sat in the bar and there were long periods of time that we could not find our waitress.
The food was awesome but our waiter was unbelievable! He made us feel like he had only us to take care of. I believe his name was William and he took great care of all our needs. Everyone at the restaurant spoke to us as if we have known them for years. They made us feel like we where home.
Vito's is a classic steakhouse. A well rounded menu. Great service from Candace. No rush to get in and out. A perfect place for a leisurely dinner with friends! Oh, and everything was delicious! Large serving size.
Excellent steaks! Service was great; food was served promptly, but we were rushed at all.
Our server, Brandon, was AMAZING! He was extremely knowledgeable, prompt and attentive without hovering. The tomohawk steak served here was probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten. We ordered the Firenze fries and the fried green tomatoes on the side. Everything was flavorful and quick to arrive! Bring your appetite though, because the sides do not reheat well and are far too delicious to squander!!
The restaurant was great for a romantic date. Experienced customer service. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It had a wonderful quiet ambience.
Great good and service for s nite out with friends
Without a doubt this was one of the best meals I and my friends have ever had. Everything was absolutely superb.
The food was great, the service was great, but our waiter wouldn't even discuss entrees until we had placed an order for appetizers, even after telling him we didn't plan to order appetizers, so be aware of the high pressure to add. We ended up with way too much food, and our meal took 3 hours. We would have been much happier with no appetizers and a 2 hour experience. HOWEVER, the food is very good, if you can stay awake long enough to enjoy it.
First off the waitress should have asked us if we had ever eaten at Vito’s before and she did not. Then we were asked what kind of water we preferred still, sparkling or tap. I said still and my husband said sparkling. The waitress should’ve advised us that the bottles of water were giant and could’ve been shared, but instead she brought them out and needless to say they cost $4.75 each. Literally around 40oz of water in each bottle! Then we ordered the Captains cut Porterhouse for two, 5 minutes later the waitress returned to say that they were sold out of it and I was not happy. However the manager did come over and offered to cut a fresh piece for us which was nice. We ordered the steak medium and when it came the manager cut it in front of us and it looked good at first but as he cut more and more we realized it was raw. He should’ve noticed it but gave it to us anyways and when I went to start eating it was so raw and chewy. Another waiter came by and asked if all was well and I told him that the steak was underdone and he said oh I’m sorry was it supposed to be rare or medium rare? That is how raw it was! So they had to take it back and reheat it, mixing all the pieces together so at that point I had no idea what was the filet and what was the strip. For $138 I would’ve expected way better and we will not be returning. Our experiences at Charlie’s have been way better.
Wait staff was the most aggressive salespeople we have ever experienced. We felt we were being sold Vs. Serviced. Ht was actually offensive.
Impeccable and detailed service. The food and recommendations were extraordinary. A not-to-miss dining experience.
My husband and I came here for the first time and could not have been impressed more. I literally googled Orlando restaurants that serve tomahawk steaks and this was one. The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy but not musty or stifling. Our server, Jimmy, was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick-witted. He was able to pinpoint a perfect wine pairing for our meal that we would never have chosen alone. While it was the most expensive meal we’ve ever had, it was also the most delicious and we raved about it for days afterwards. We can’t wait for our next special occasion so we may go again!
This is our "Go To" place in Orlando. Many other places are over-the-top fancy or fake. Vito's is the real-deal. A steak house on par with any in the world, and better than most. Prices are a little high, but you always get what you pay for here. You MUST save room for dessert. This steak house features a really great dessert selection.
Excellent service, which we’ve had every time we’ve been there. Brandon who said he was new to serving there was excellent and took very good care of us
Love this restaurant. Eat there everytime we are in Orlando. Food and service is exceptional!
It had been almost 13 years since i first recall having eaten at this locations. Have always wondered if my return trip would be the same as the first. You met and continued to exceed my expectations. Great job by your staff
We came here on Valentine's night. We've heard so many amazing things about this place. I am a foodie from New York so I know how to pick them. We were seated and sat down wonderfully. It's $9:15.Our waitress took 15 min to greet us. My date ordered a $9 glass wine. Waitress made a unprofessional remark about how my date should've ordered a higher quality wine ($) because it was a higher end restaurant and requested a glass that was triple the amount. I told our waitress that I appreciated her request but let's just go with what she ordered. I ordered a water. Our waitress huffed and puffed walking away mumbling words we couldn't understand. We waited maybe 15 min for it to be served. As she came back I politely asked her for bread. She said they were out but if she had any she would bring it out. Some time went by as me and my date were talking about how we wanted to try the bread. Another waiter over heard us as he we so nice to ask if he wanted him to bring over bread, so I said if you still have some left that would be wonderful. He replied of course we have bread. We proceeded just to wait for the bread she came out with 16 min later. She came out and apologized for not knowing if they had bread. I smiled and said it's ok, you are probably overwhelmed a busy. So it's 46 min later and we have bread. She took outer order as I asked "which pasta would you recommend, what is popular?" She looked at me with big eyes as she responded " this is a chop house, my tables don't order pasta And pushed to order me steak. I said I'll just get the rigatoni but with pink sauce. My date ordered the chicken parm. She looked at me and said "you got a cheap date tonight". Me and my date looked at each other kind of embarrassed not understanding why we couldn't order pasta. Not to mention we ordered appetizers and both ceasar salads. Our waitress walked passed our table many times without hesitation to ask if we wanted more bread or refills. Food comes out. My pasta was wrong.
A beautiful place, very nicely decorated and comfortable. Cathy gave us an excellent service. It was really nice to celebrate Valentine's Day there.
We have highly recommended Vitos too all of our friends that appreciate gourmet cuisine.
The waiter was awesome! Only complaint was the salad, it was warm? for some reason and the bread was not flavorful. Aside from that the steak was cooked perfectly!
Awesome king crab beautiful steak and lobster great service kudos to Michael great tableside waiter
A great experience and great staff
We have loved dining at Vito's for 17 years and have not been disappointed. We go there for the steaks, aged Prime steaks, seasoned to perfection and cooked at very high temperatures. Just wonderful!!
Excellent meal with very good service for Valentine's Day.
