Vita Nova es un restaurante operado por estudiantes ya que forma parte del programa de Administración de Empresas de Hospitalidad de la Universidad de Delaware. Cuenta con el galardonado almuerzo buffet "Best of Delaware" de lunes a viernes, y elegante gastronomía de miércoles a viernes durante los periodos de otoño y primavera. Los estudiantes ofrecen platillos frescos y locales para el almuerzo, incluyendo ensaladas gourmet, sopas, pastas, platos principales, paninis asados al fuego, panes planos, tablas de quesos y mini dulces. La cena de 5 tiempos comienza con una aperitivo triple de estilo fusión, seguido por un entremés y una entrada de su elección, todo preparado en la recién renovada cocina abierta. La noche termina con una nota dulce con un trío de postres irresistibles. Vita Nova ofrece una amplia selección de bebidas que incluye 20 vinos por copa, cerveza local y bebidas a base de espresso. As always, this was fine dining at its best. The Filet Mignon was excellent and the scallops were delicious. Being served by individual servers is so nice and we get a chance to talk to University students as an added bonus. We look forward to dining here anytime we can get a reservation

Vita Nova is, by far, the best restaurant experience in Newark, DE, or surrounding areas of PA, NJ, and MD. The restaurant is a teaching lab for the University of Delaware Hospitality Program -- all of the wait staff and kitchen staff are students and faculty from the program. The food is absolutely phenomenal, the experience is wonderful, and the wine list is extensive -- and everything is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Vita Nova to anyone who lives in the Newark, DE area, or is planning to be in the area for business or leisure travel.

Wonderful dining experience. as usual. Many gluten free choices plus they brought us delicious savory gluten free scones. Extensive wine list. Excellent service.

It was our first time dining at Vita Nova. We had an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The students do a great job running the restaurant and serving the tables. We will definitely come back again!

Wow! We’ve been meaning to try Vita Nova for ages and it did not disappoint. Creative, delicious options in a lovely atmosphere. UD students provided excellent service and a wonderful experience!

A most unique dining experience. The food was delicious, the service quite professional and the ambiance was relaxing. The luncheon buffet featured so many delicious items that it was necessary to have a little of everything the first time through the line, then go back for the dishes that were exceptional.
