While the rooftop was great and our server was attentive, I found that for the price the food left something to be desired.
I have been going to Vita over the past few years and I feel like they are just stuck in their ways. The menu used to be fun to go through because there were so many options but it is just boring now. The service was ok at best with our waiter flying by our table to introduce himself and going to grab our waters. He didn't even bother to tuck in his shirt before coming to work. The rooftop is the only bright spot for Vita at this point. There are too many other restaurants in Denver to go to before settling for Vita.
Awful. They pulled their brunch menu. It was empty. Service was awful. Food wasn't terrible but not good either. Bring back brunch!
Overpriced mediocre food. Service was great food was subpar and we were the only people in the place on a Sunday evening.
Not impressed at all. Food was terrible, and completely way over priced. Place was quiet while restaurants next to it were slammed. No desire to ever go back.
The service was not good. We had 4 people take our drink orders but did not come back to check on us. One person would take our order, another would check on us, a third would bring our drinks, then a fourth person would check on us again. We didn't know who was actually serving us as once each one came by they did not come back. Our food took forever, and came out incorrectly so had to be sent back to the kitchen. I was excited to try Vita as I had heard good things but was quite disappointed. Would not recommend to friends.
Not the rooftop view that you think it's going to be. Very disappointing!
Great place to eat. Food was wonderful.
Server was kind of cranky. Didn't see him smile once!! Went for happy hour, 2 for 1 apps but ended up paying full price for all 4 appetizers 🙄
Service was awesome. Very accommodating to changes.
Happy hour was a nice bonus with 2-1 apps.
Food wasn't that impressive. Menu left a lot to be desired. Service was great. Was expecting a better menu from a "favorite" local restaurant as suggested by a friend.
Great service and phenomenal food! We got the tiger shrimp and brie to start-- both incredible. The brie was to die for.
For an entree, I enjoyed the arugala mahi salad (blackened) and my boyfriend got the salmon BLT (blackened). Both were great and portion sizes were very generous.
I had the Vita salad, and it was amazing! Great service, attentive staff, and great dining.
Great service! The food is usually superb but this time it was just average. I'll still be back!
I specifically asked that entrees not come out before we were done with appetizers, and the waitress ensued it would be fine. The entrees came out about 10 minutes after the appetizers, and the waitress seemed to have forgotten my request, oblivious to the fact that we were still eating the appetizers. The food was hit or miss. Some of the entrees are great, some were power seasoned. The noise level was so loud, our party of 7 had to lean in to hear one another.
The restaurant was recommended to me for it's skyline view and happening atmosphere. Though it was raining that evening, I can't imagine there being a city view as there is a taller apartment building directly south of the location. It was raining that evening so there wasn't a way to confirm this.
The evening was a 95th birthday celebration for my mom. The staff was extremely attentive and made dessert very special, nonetheless the place was empty with none of the city-view experiences as promised. We were virtually alone on the ground floor and freezing. Overall, the food was very good and saved the day. Doubtful I'd recommend the location for a special dining event to others.
We made reservations for a group of 12 a few weeks out. Upon arrival, we were told to seat ourselves upstairs (which we had to put a few tables together to do so). We got our orders in pretty quickly, but as it seemed that there were only 3 people on staff (chef, host, waitress), it took over 80 minutes to get our food. In that initial order we ordered appetizers as well - which arrived after we received the main courses.
I've been to Vita a handful of times and never found it very special and was very disappointed by our last experience and likely won't be back.
We had a passport and they had a reservation at 7pm on Saturday. That should have been the first red flag. Dining room 100% empty when we got there. Server ordered me the wrong item, so food was slow. Waters kept full but that was about as good as the service ever got. Food was not good.
Great food and a reasonable price. Service was great and food came right away. We went up to rooftop bar which was busy and had some great drinks.
Great food. Love the patio.
I remembered this restaurant being fantastic, many years back. Unfortunately everything has changed, and we were all very disappointed with the mediocre food and the incredibly slow service. The cocktails were the only saving grace, but took nearly half an hour to receive at one point.
Some unique dishes that are worth a try. Maxwell, the manager, took time to chat with me and my wife. I would highly recommend this place.
We went to vita for a rooftop dinner in Denver, but it ended up storming right around when we had booked. I think we would have loved it more if we had gotten to enjoy the views, but the food was still good and the staff was very attentive.
I came here for my birthday dinner having never been here before. The food was delicious, and they offered us a free champagne toast or dessert! This will be a new staple for me without a doubt!!!
The food quality is very good but the wedge salad is grossly overpriced for the serving size compared to other resturants.
All the staff were attentive and friendly. Nice experience.
Vita has a really great happy hour but the dinner was a bit disappointing. The chicken was a little dry and the lamb was shaved. Will come back for happy hour snacks and drinks only.
Food and drinks tasted great, server was great but the food took so long the manager actually came over to apologize, meanwhile it wasn't that busy and they did nothing to compensate. We had a party of 6 and were there from 645 until almost 9 before we were served our main course.
It took almost an hour to get our appetizer. Dinner took three hours. Our server was nice and great with drinks. I can only assume the kitchen didn't have their act together. It took way too long for each course to be delivered.
Service was pretty slow. Menu was great. Food was okay but gave no desire to rush back.
