Vista 18 was our choice for a special New Years Day dinner, which we shared with our daughter and future son-in-law. I'm a Richmond, BC fan of Garrett Schack and his Cookin on the Coast show, and I've looked forward to visiting Vista 18 for a couple years, now. My high expectations were met!! Lovely atmosphere - cozy and special at the same time; the view was a bonus! Our server was charming, knowledgable, and efficient. We all enjoyed our meals, every course was beautiful & delicious! Especially the extra chocolate truffle!
Fantastic gem!! Great atmosphere and food. Highly recommend the Nash!!
We were celebrating our anniversary. Just came for dinner, so can't speak for all of the other options I would recommend this restaurant for. The ambience was good. Quiet enough for conversation. The waitress was quite attentive and helpful. The food was tasty and nicely presented. It was a pleasurable evening.
The view was great - the food not so much. I ordered the sirloin steak and it was so tough I could barely cut it with the sharp knife they gave me. I won't go back.
Good service and great food and budget friendly. Highly recommended!
The wait staff wasn't friendly, the wine was watered down, the portions were extra small for the price. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
Brunch with a friend before the show; what a great place to enjoy the view, great food and good conversation!!
Best steak I have ever had, very nice view and table. Very nice place for a special occasion meal.
The service was very good, but the food was disappointing. The appetizer I ordered was big enough to be a meal by itself, even though it would have been very easy for the chef to make it smaller and easier to eat with minor modifications. The ravioli was mostly thick dough, with the filling occupying less than half of the area of the ravioli. The chef seems to have trouble with appropriate portions for meal components, and for parts of dishes.
Had a wonderful experience here. Started going when my son was little for Santa’s breakfast....they don’t do that anymore and my son is 20 years old now so now we just do breakfast and check out the Christmas trees at the Empress/ The Bay Center.
