This was Valentine's Day 2018. Our food was excellent. Ahi was perfectly seared and Saffron Risotto tested fabulous. Beet and Arugula salad was excellent as usual, as were the Pancetta Prawns with Lemon-Garlic Aioli.
Service was very attentive without being smothering. Our waitress handled the busy night well and the busser quietly kept our water filled. This is the kind of service I prefer. Competent but unobtrusive.
They added tables for Valentine's Day and that made the aisles a bit tight and increased the volume somewhat, but not unbearably so. We eat here frequently and the atmosphere is usually fabulous, so I should note that since this is my first review.
The pricing is expected for this level of dining, but is by no means a great value. The wine list is extensive and provides wines at all pricing levels. Visconti's offers a great special occasion meal at a predictable price.
Love the food. Exceptional wine list. Tables were crammed together much to closely. Wait person was very friendly even though she was incredibly busy
Old school American style Italian
Late getting a table from a set reservation. Took extraordinarily long to get main entrees. Prices seem ok for the most part except the alcohol prices, which are too high.
Always great! Relaxed and friendly environment. Highly recommended.
Best customer service ever!! Great food - we will be back
Our favorite restaurant in the Greater Wenatchee area. I like it better than my old haunt, the Leavenworth Viscontis.
As on last Saturday night, the noise level can be moderate because it is a small place with several interesting small dining rooms.
Sammy our waitress was fantastic as usual. The food is always very good. The wine list is constantly changing to introduce local and regional choices. The Canvasback Cabernet Sauvignon, a new one on the wine-by-glass menu, was superb! Vineyard and winery in the Red Mountain area (Tri-Cities adjacent).
NOT GOOD. Small, crowded, dark inside and a bit worn looking, locally owned place with a pretentious wait staff and management burdened by an irritating parochial arrogance. We started with a salad to share. It was passable and the greens were fresh. We also ordered an appetizer of minestrone. Sadly, a small cup of broth with nothing but cabbage in it for veggies was served. Perhaps the overly dark atmosphere of the restaurant prevented the server from seeing what they were putting in the cup? In any case, we had high hopes for the salmon, but to no avail. When ordering two orders of the 29 dollar king salmon filet "medium", we specifically asked that it not be overcooked. BOTH orders were ruined by overcooking. Dry, and with a very strong fishy flavor, which made me wonder about the freshness. When this was brought to the attention of the waitress, she was defensive instead of helpful. Later, the manager came by to ask if we wanted another piece of fish. Too late. We declined. Needless to say, this was a disappointing experience. The waitress actually asked if we wanted dessert after this fiasco. The good news is, there are plenty of really solid, consistent, friendly and classy eateries in and around Wenatchee. If you must come here, it may be best to stick with the pasta.
Amazing Service and Great Food As Always! The staff is amazing and very attentive.
Were in town for a quick visit. Visconti's was just the right fit for us on a Friday evening after a days' drive. the food was very good and service was very pleasant. I would visit again.
