Visconti's - Wenatchee Ratings and Reviews
Being that it was New Years Eve the place was busy with reservations. When we arrived they were running late on their scheduled reservation timing, which was fine. However, after 40 minutes of waiting past our reservation time we were the only ones left waiting. It turns out we were skipped over and marked as a "no show". This was also a first date, so the two of us were both getting a little awkwardly hungry. We were given a free appetizer for the inconvenience. It was mentioned at least twice more to us how they were sorry for the mix up. It was nice to be apologetic, but we were ready to move on to our meal. The server was friendly and attentive and the food was good, if not a little salty. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, and I always do enjoy the food and the service at all of your establishments.
Visconti's lived up to its well-earned reputation as the best place in Wenatchee for fine dining. Its extensive menu offered all the classics of Italian-American restaurants and our selections were well-executed and sizable, which meant that its expensive prices (over $30 for our entrees) seemed fairly priced. Service was friendly and efficient. But the timing of various courses on a crowded Saturday evening could definitely have been improved, as we ended up feeling rushed throughout the meal -- not a good thing at those prices! Since Visconti's is said to always be packed, one should be able to assume that the servers and the kitchen and bar would have timing down to the precision of a Swiss watch, but that was not so. Still, these two first-time diners at Visconti's from Seattle would probably return, should we find ourselves in Wenatchee again.
Nice make your own Antipasti board with lots of options. Caesar salad was VERY garlicy and strong tasting but still, it was good. Clams and linguine were fresh and well cooked. Carbonara was light and good although I prefer having some peas in for a little more complexity in the taste. You really can't go wrong with just cheese and bacon flavor though, in my book......... We'll be back and look forward to trying something else. All the food around us looked really good. The tables are really packed in there though and even on a Monday evening at 6pm all tables were entirely full. It was difficult to converse over the large tables shouting at each other on both sides of our table for two.
I love this place. Great and innovative cuisine with a really nice atmosphere
Tables are a bit crowded so it's loud but that's just part of the venue
This time the bartender was pretty rude but that's never been an issue before and we were given a dinner we didn't order but they quickly reordered the right dish and gave us a free drink
Have always gone to the Viscontis in Leavenworth. But we wanted to catch-up with a friend living in Wenatchee, decided to go here. The menu is more diverse and upscale. I had the grilled prawns and vegetables and loved it. My companions enjoyed their entrees as well. But the best part of the meal was dessert - gelato with limoncello. Took me back to Italy. Would come back just for that dessert.
Slightly disappointed with our first dining experience at Viscontis. We had heard good things and after transplanting from a bigger city in California we were excited that there was still the option of fine dining. Our dinner was an anniversary celebration and we spent close to $150 on a bottle of wine, appetizer, two meals and two desserts. We most enjoyed the wine and appetizer. Dinner itself was lackluster and slow coming out of the kitchen. Service was good but atmosphere felt a bit tight and neighboring tables conversations easily competited with our own.
Visited on a Monday night, during a business trip to Wenatchee. Staff was friendly and the food was tasty. A little noisy at first, but the intimate setting manages the noise well - such that it is a vibrant atmosphere with private tables. A nice balance. The bean soup and ravioli were absolutely delicious. If/when I'm back in Wenatchee, I'll be dining again at Visconti's!
Visconti's was one highlight of our get-away weekend to Wenatchee. The service was excellent, in fact, it could not have been better. The food, cannelloni for my husband and ravioli for me, was flavorful and a good quantity. The only negative was the noise level which was due to small spaces and a large party next to us. We are entering the senior category and loud background noise makes it difficult to hear the waitstaff and for us to converse. Despite the noise, we would return to enjoy the food and service again.
Wenatchee is so very lucky to have this great place in their town. IF they were in Seattle, this place would be a huge hit. One of the best restaurants I have been to in many years. Been there a few times, and each time is as good as the last. Very attentive service, comfortable, accommodating, and most importantly, the food is fabulous.
I am not sure whether to order the Lemon Crab Linguini, or the ribeye. both are perfection.
We always love Visconti's. The food never disappoints. We take visitors, friends, family or go alone. The wait staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. The only issue I has concerns my martini. It is never cold enough. Other than that Visconti's one of our favorite place to dine.
Food and wine are very good, with a lot to choose from. The noise level is excessive, especially with older people who have hearing issues. This is not a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Be prepared to pay a high price for high quality food and wine. The service was very good as well.
