This was Valentine's Day 2018. Our food was excellent. Ahi was perfectly seared and Saffron Risotto tested fabulous. Beet and Arugula salad was excellent as usual, as were the Pancetta Prawns with Lemon-Garlic Aioli.
Service was very attentive without being smothering. Our waitress handled the busy night well and the busser quietly kept our water filled. This is the kind of service I prefer. Competent but unobtrusive.
They added tables for Valentine's Day and that made the aisles a bit tight and increased the volume somewhat, but not unbearably so. We eat here frequently and the atmosphere is usually fabulous, so I should note that since this is my first review.
The pricing is expected for this level of dining, but is by no means a great value. The wine list is extensive and provides wines at all pricing levels. Visconti's offers a great special occasion meal at a predictable price.
Love the food. Exceptional wine list. Tables were crammed together much to closely. Wait person was very friendly even though she was incredibly busy
Old school American style Italian
Late getting a table from a set reservation. Took extraordinarily long to get main entrees. Prices seem ok for the most part except the alcohol prices, which are too high.
Always great! Relaxed and friendly environment. Highly recommended.
Best customer service ever!! Great food - we will be back
Our favorite restaurant in the Greater Wenatchee area. I like it better than my old haunt, the Leavenworth Viscontis.
As on last Saturday night, the noise level can be moderate because it is a small place with several interesting small dining rooms.
Sammy our waitress was fantastic as usual. The food is always very good. The wine list is constantly changing to introduce local and regional choices. The Canvasback Cabernet Sauvignon, a new one on the wine-by-glass menu, was superb! Vineyard and winery in the Red Mountain area (Tri-Cities adjacent).
NOT GOOD. Small, crowded, dark inside and a bit worn looking, locally owned place with a pretentious wait staff and management burdened by an irritating parochial arrogance. We started with a salad to share. It was passable and the greens were fresh. We also ordered an appetizer of minestrone. Sadly, a small cup of broth with nothing but cabbage in it for veggies was served. Perhaps the overly dark atmosphere of the restaurant prevented the server from seeing what they were putting in the cup? In any case, we had high hopes for the salmon, but to no avail. When ordering two orders of the 29 dollar king salmon filet "medium", we specifically asked that it not be overcooked. BOTH orders were ruined by overcooking. Dry, and with a very strong fishy flavor, which made me wonder about the freshness. When this was brought to the attention of the waitress, she was defensive instead of helpful. Later, the manager came by to ask if we wanted another piece of fish. Too late. We declined. Needless to say, this was a disappointing experience. The waitress actually asked if we wanted dessert after this fiasco. The good news is, there are plenty of really solid, consistent, friendly and classy eateries in and around Wenatchee. If you must come here, it may be best to stick with the pasta.
Amazing Service and Great Food As Always! The staff is amazing and very attentive.
Were in town for a quick visit. Visconti's was just the right fit for us on a Friday evening after a days' drive. the food was very good and service was very pleasant. I would visit again.
As always...Visconti's was excellent...my husband had the halibut with saffron risotto; myself...the Chipino ...paired with chelan Estates MErlot...we live in Chelan...worth the drive..........
Super tasty food. Ate too much delicious bread. My bad. Dessert was great and I really felt my date and I were accommodated very well. Always a good time until you gotta pay the bill.
Being that it was New Years Eve the place was busy with reservations. When we arrived they were running late on their scheduled reservation timing, which was fine. However, after 40 minutes of waiting past our reservation time we were the only ones left waiting. It turns out we were skipped over and marked as a "no show". This was also a first date, so the two of us were both getting a little awkwardly hungry. We were given a free appetizer for the inconvenience. It was mentioned at least twice more to us how they were sorry for the mix up. It was nice to be apologetic, but we were ready to move on to our meal. The server was friendly and attentive and the food was good, if not a little salty. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, and I always do enjoy the food and the service at all of your establishments.
Prompt seating for our reservation time. Great service and attentiveness during meal. Excellent menu choices and food was excellent and presented artfully. This is a class 4/5 restaurant with good ambiance.
We heard the waiter tell the other patrons what the specials were why not us
Delicious food: especially the seafood special (= seared halibut)
We greatly enjoyed our dinner. Food tasted good and service was great.
A delicious go to restaurant. we expect a good meal and we are never disappointed.
Everything was wonderful from the time we were seated until the last bite of dessert! Food and drink were excellent as well as the wait staff. Can't wait to go back again.
Birthday with family
Consistently great food and service as usual, especially enjoyed the bartender.
Visconti's lived up to its well-earned reputation as the best place in Wenatchee for fine dining. Its extensive menu offered all the classics of Italian-American restaurants and our selections were well-executed and sizable, which meant that its expensive prices (over $30 for our entrees) seemed fairly priced. Service was friendly and efficient. But the timing of various courses on a crowded Saturday evening could definitely have been improved, as we ended up feeling rushed throughout the meal -- not a good thing at those prices! Since Visconti's is said to always be packed, one should be able to assume that the servers and the kitchen and bar would have timing down to the precision of a Swiss watch, but that was not so. Still, these two first-time diners at Visconti's from Seattle would probably return, should we find ourselves in Wenatchee again.
My pasta was delicious and I really appreciated the gluten free option!!!
We are occasional visitors. Had a mediocre experience last year. Better this time. Place is always busy with tables pretty tight. Service was good. Timing a little rushed but ok. Food was tasty, larger portions, decent variety. Worth a visit.
Food was absolutely amazing as always. Service was exceptional as well. This location is a little cramped, and was VERY noisy.
Nice make your own Antipasti board with lots of options. Caesar salad was VERY garlicy and strong tasting but still, it was good. Clams and linguine were fresh and well cooked. Carbonara was light and good although I prefer having some peas in for a little more complexity in the taste. You really can't go wrong with just cheese and bacon flavor though, in my book......... We'll be back and look forward to trying something else. All the food around us looked really good. The tables are really packed in there though and even on a Monday evening at 6pm all tables were entirely full. It was difficult to converse over the large tables shouting at each other on both sides of our table for two.
The best restaurant in town. Always good service & friendly staff
The atmosphere was great, our service was excellent, and the food was truly exceptional!
I love this place. Great and innovative cuisine with a really nice atmosphere
Tables are a bit crowded so it's loud but that's just part of the venue
This time the bartender was pretty rude but that's never been an issue before and we were given a dinner we didn't order but they quickly reordered the right dish and gave us a free drink
Have always gone to the Viscontis in Leavenworth. But we wanted to catch-up with a friend living in Wenatchee, decided to go here. The menu is more diverse and upscale. I had the grilled prawns and vegetables and loved it. My companions enjoyed their entrees as well. But the best part of the meal was dessert - gelato with limoncello. Took me back to Italy. Would come back just for that dessert.
