Visconti's - Wenatchee
We had a perfect night! Food was amazing and the service was the same!
As I mentioned to Aldo, I ordered “and received “ the last serving of Osso Bucco, which was why we came there for my birthday. I think they just scraped the bottom of the pot. I had plenty of Risotto and bone with 3 bites of meat for $32. My most disappointing birthday dinner ever. First bad experience at either of the Visconti’s.
Had the shrimp baked in lemon. Was absolutely wonderful. May have been the best meal I’ve ever had! Service was outstanding!
It was wonderful dining in a restaurant that met the standards of its reviews. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. The menu offered excellent options and we chose the butternut squash ravioli and the clams in wine sauce which were excellent - great flavor and fresh. We asked for a a side salad which also was fresh and crisp. Where did you get the wonderful tomatoes? We recommend highly recommend Visconti's!
Good meal. Excellent bread with garlic oil dip. Small inside and a bit tight.
I got the carbonara, which was great. My wife and I were out to dinner for her birthday so I had intended to take her somewhere that she could enjoy. Her meal wasn’t even close to what the menu described and she ended up barely touching it. We love calamari and order that. The pieces of calamari were excellent but I’m afraid there were only a small bit of calamari and mostly filler ingredients. Drinks were very good also, as was the service. I was ok with the food and my wife wasn’t too bothered by the meal being different either because the ambiance was really good. Everyone around was was enjoying their time and we were just enjoying ourselves. I was definitely fed up though when we were charged more for our food than the menus stated. Kind of the last straw. I should have looked over the bill before I paid, so I can take the blame for that. I don’t think I will be returning though. But I hope if the owners see this review they maybe take extra steps to improve the accuracy of their menus. This place has a ton of potential but needs a little fine tuning. And the Italian margarita was excellent.
We love going to this restaurant for special occasions or when visitors come from out of town. Our favorites are their salami boards with their own cured meats. We also love their cheese sauce with their pastas or we even order it on the side to dip our bread in. They have a kids menu that has lots of choices. The service is friendly and efficient.
Fabulous menu, well prepared fresh food. Attentive service in a cozy setting. Thanks to Open Table for the great find!
Food was outstanding. The calamari appetizer was so tender and the sauce was delicious. I had the chicken parm and it was done to perfection. My husband had the rack of lamb that was perfectly crusted and tender. My mom had the sausage penne that had the perfect kick. It was very lovely and if and when I ever go back to Wenatchee- i will make it a priority
Excellent Italian/American cuisine. Friendly, knowledgeable wait staff. They let us linger long after dinner with desserts, cheeses and aperitifs, including their tasty house-made Limoncello. Nice Continental vibe.
always great! what else can you say. apparently I need 50 characters to say that. ha
I have been to Visconti's many times and have always been generously rewarded with great (really!) food. This visit was disappointing to the extent that where we were seated -- in the back room in a tight corner 2-seat table -- made hearing each other talk across the noise of other patrons, plus music (?), nearly impossible. We kept having to repeat ourselves over and over. This made the experience less than enjoyable. Lesson learned: ask for a better table location.
We loved Visconti's so much we made a point of going back a second time during the few days we were in the area. Great menu, excellent wine choices, and wonderful cozy setting!
One of our favorite restaurants in Wenatchee. Always excellent service and quality preparation.
Great service and food. An oasis in the city of Wenatchee.
We arrived right at our reservation time and were seated immediately. We brought a bottle of red wine and they opened it right away. The service was friendly, the appetizers were a little slow to arrive but the food was great. Tiramisu was exceptional. They even have grappa so that was a nice touch. We will go back again.
Tracy was awesome. She recommended the Northwest Board for an appetizer. Finest cuts of meat I have tasted in a long time. Superb.
The food was great. The service by the bus girl, great. She was the highlight of the experience. I don't like to say negative things about an establishment. So writing this is difficult. This could have been an isolated case. We were served far later than many others that arrived after us. We had even made a reservation, and arrived slightly early. When we inquired about the timing on our meal the manager said it shouldn't have taken as long. He went back for an explanation and came to our table to tell us a large party delayed our meal in a separate room. His solution was dessert. When we considered it then declined he offered no other compensation. It's too bad it was our wedding anniversary and it's too bad the experience cost us over 100 dollars. We will not be back. This was the Wenatchee location.
We had a family reunion dinner at Visconti's which included adults and teens. The service for our group of 8 was excellent and professional. Everyone in our group, even the picky eaters, loved the food. We shared the scrumptious calamari and brussels sprouts appetizer to start off. For a main course, three of us had the outstanding spaghetti with prawns. Other dishes that were enjoyed were the clam linguine, osso buco, a steak, burrata, and a chicken ceasar salad. Great wine selection and Shirley Temples for the teens. Spumoni ice cream was enjoyed for dessert. We have this reunion every year or two and the only place we ever all want to go is Visconti's.
Our overall advice to fellow diners, just go! Great food, wonderful service, lovely ambiance and fantastic wine list.
The bruschetta and canneloni were a little spicier than expected (and we love spicy food). The lemon chicken was cooked perfectly, but the composition was odd. The sweet corn and pesto potatoes drowned out any delicate lemon flavors...but each ingredient on its own was cooked so perfectly its hard to complain- even if it was far from being lemon chicken.
My son pointed out the kids menu had a typo- it is spaghetti and meatball, not meatballs, but said it was great.
Despite our family’s “it was great, but...” review, we recommend it highly and will make it a point to visit again!!!
Had one of the best meals here to celebrate our anniversary. Our server didn't ask and I didn't think to mention is was our anniversary. The table next to us was celebrating as well and got a free gelato. Everything was fresh, so many things on the menu they make themselves so the quality is outstanding. My husband had the steak and I had the salmon. Both were generous portions and cooked to perfection. The dipping oil served with the bread was so flavorful. I also had THE BEST seasonal Caprese salad with such fresh cheese. This was our first visit and I hope to return again when I am visiting the area.
We bought someone from Nebraska for dinner and they were really impressed with not only the food but the atmosphere.
Based on recommendations on Open Table we chose Visconti’s for dinner on our way to Kelowna for a business meeting. We were so impressed we are returning for dinner tonight.
We had a fabulous dinner. The wine we had was local and wonderful. My husband and I each had the specials. They were tasty. Our waiter was very nice. My husband is hard of hearing and it was a bit noisy for him. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
This was a great referral from our hotel people. Several of us went there and discovered many of our other colleagues had also, discovered it (a large group in a private area and other smaller groups). We were there (in Wenachee) on business, but it wasn't a "business dinner." Fabulous food, great ambiance, good service (started out a bit slow, but once our entire group (of 6) arrived, it was outstanding).
The wine list was very good. The menu was wonderful. It offered not-so-spendy items and a bit more spendy items. In other words, it's affordable. The food was excellent and very tasty. They are open only, for dinner. Weekend evenings, they are packed, so you better make a reservation! My colleagues and I will return.
Sign up on-line and you can make your reservations there, as well as modify them, at any time of day or night. That was great!
Wonderful cuisine and dining experience. Best foodie spot in Wenatchee. Lots of fresh entree choices. Ciao.
My wife and I had the fresh asparagus as an appetizer and then both of us choose the cannelloni. The asparagus was extremely well made, crisp and very tasty. The cannelloni was light with a slight bite to it. We loved the evening and ambience of the place. Will definitely return when in Wenatchee the next time.
It was a great Italian authentic dining experience!
The food was terrific! Not only was my Ribeye really tasty, the veggies and potatoes were a feast in themselves. I had the leftovers of my steak the next day and it was still really great. The salmon was very good as well, and the flourless chocolate dessert was decadent. We were seated next to a large, loud group which made for a noisy environment but without that factor it would be a very nice and fairly quiet ambience.
Good food, but somewhat noisy. Service was fine, though the wine we ordered was not what was brought, different year, which I find annoying. Otherwise, a nice meal.
We dine here fairly regularly when in town visiting family. The pasta dishes are always delicious (and prepared with consistency). Good wine and dessert selections. The service has always been awesome. I would definitely recommend!
Outstanding food and service. Visconti's is consistently excellent. Best dining in Wenatchee, in my opinion.
The food was as good as any restaurant we've experienced. The staff was friendly and attentive. It is on the upper side of expensive, but a meal worth the experience.
This place is excellent. Especially impressed with the service and the atmosphere.
We chose this restaurant based on it's other online recommendations, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was busy, and people were waiting, however we had our table set and it was ready for us when we arrived. This was an impressive first sight. The server was aware of the menu and what was on it, but she did not go out of her way to really explain some things, nor offer solutions to questions people had, other than to say, "look at the menu". We did have a mess-up in them accidentally throwing out our leftovers, but they quickly accepted responsibility and said that they were remaking a "child's version" for us to take home.
I would highly recommend this restaurant overall.
Was a last minute search for a fine dining Italian, recommended online, so made a reservation online.
Was a good experience, great food to include a wonderful infused oil with bread, nice caesar salad, 2 bottles of wine from a large large list, and a shared canellonni which was perfect. Finished off with a very good Creme desert. Aldo was our server, pleasant from start to finish, and recommended both wines from what he knew, and did not go beyond what he was unsure of.
All of the staff were excellent, location was central, and just a nice place for a quiet relaxed experience.
What a wonderful gem! This was the closest restaurant to our hotel. I was able to get a reservation on OpenTable. Glad I did - line out the door. Fabulous food, great service. Loved every bite and our server was amazing. We'll be back this summer when we come through again.
Delicious apple and arugula salad. Very good pork saltimbocca with mashed potatoes and al denote veggies. Excellent selection of both local and Italian wines. I went with a Rosso do Montalcino. Very attentive service. Recommended if you are in either Wenatchee or Leavenworth.
We are fortunate enough to live in Wenatchee and save Visconti's for special occasions-- it is consistently such a great dining experience. We had a small party of 4 birthday dinner there last Wednesday, walked in to see two huge tables of folks also celebrating b-days. Slow service?? Not at all; the staff had the whole situation under perfect control and everyone was obviously having a wonderful time, as did we.
The only consistent complaint I have about Visconti's is it's so hard to decide which of those delicious entres to select. It's all just so, so good.
Excellent as always, never fails to deliver an fabulous meal.
