The food was terrific! Not only was my Ribeye really tasty, the veggies and potatoes were a feast in themselves. I had the leftovers of my steak the next day and it was still really great. The salmon was very good as well, and the flourless chocolate dessert was decadent. We were seated next to a large, loud group which made for a noisy environment but without that factor it would be a very nice and fairly quiet ambience.
Good food, but somewhat noisy. Service was fine, though the wine we ordered was not what was brought, different year, which I find annoying. Otherwise, a nice meal.
We dine here fairly regularly when in town visiting family. The pasta dishes are always delicious (and prepared with consistency). Good wine and dessert selections. The service has always been awesome. I would definitely recommend!
Outstanding food and service. Visconti's is consistently excellent. Best dining in Wenatchee, in my opinion.
The food was as good as any restaurant we've experienced. The staff was friendly and attentive. It is on the upper side of expensive, but a meal worth the experience.
This place is excellent. Especially impressed with the service and the atmosphere.
We chose this restaurant based on it's other online recommendations, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was busy, and people were waiting, however we had our table set and it was ready for us when we arrived. This was an impressive first sight. The server was aware of the menu and what was on it, but she did not go out of her way to really explain some things, nor offer solutions to questions people had, other than to say, "look at the menu". We did have a mess-up in them accidentally throwing out our leftovers, but they quickly accepted responsibility and said that they were remaking a "child's version" for us to take home.
I would highly recommend this restaurant overall.
Was a last minute search for a fine dining Italian, recommended online, so made a reservation online.
Was a good experience, great food to include a wonderful infused oil with bread, nice caesar salad, 2 bottles of wine from a large large list, and a shared canellonni which was perfect. Finished off with a very good Creme desert. Aldo was our server, pleasant from start to finish, and recommended both wines from what he knew, and did not go beyond what he was unsure of.
All of the staff were excellent, location was central, and just a nice place for a quiet relaxed experience.
What a wonderful gem! This was the closest restaurant to our hotel. I was able to get a reservation on OpenTable. Glad I did - line out the door. Fabulous food, great service. Loved every bite and our server was amazing. We'll be back this summer when we come through again.
Delicious apple and arugula salad. Very good pork saltimbocca with mashed potatoes and al denote veggies. Excellent selection of both local and Italian wines. I went with a Rosso do Montalcino. Very attentive service. Recommended if you are in either Wenatchee or Leavenworth.
We are fortunate enough to live in Wenatchee and save Visconti's for special occasions-- it is consistently such a great dining experience. We had a small party of 4 birthday dinner there last Wednesday, walked in to see two huge tables of folks also celebrating b-days. Slow service?? Not at all; the staff had the whole situation under perfect control and everyone was obviously having a wonderful time, as did we.
The only consistent complaint I have about Visconti's is it's so hard to decide which of those delicious entres to select. It's all just so, so good.
Excellent as always, never fails to deliver an fabulous meal.
Good food, and very hospitable staff.
Did not expect the uncomfortably close dining seating.
Still a good dining experience.
As always the food was excellent as was the service. The cost was commensurate with the level of dining experience. The only con would be is that the acoustics are only fair-poor or too much alcohol dispensed to be "a nice, quiet place for dinner on a Saturday night..."
The food is wonderful, the service is super friendly. My friends and I had a great time.
Our Dinner with friends was delightful and delcious
Food was average nothing special at all. Also our server seemed like she wasn't wanting to be at work n Saturday night.
This was Valentine's Day 2018. Our food was excellent. Ahi was perfectly seared and Saffron Risotto tested fabulous. Beet and Arugula salad was excellent as usual, as were the Pancetta Prawns with Lemon-Garlic Aioli.
Service was very attentive without being smothering. Our waitress handled the busy night well and the busser quietly kept our water filled. This is the kind of service I prefer. Competent but unobtrusive.
They added tables for Valentine's Day and that made the aisles a bit tight and increased the volume somewhat, but not unbearably so. We eat here frequently and the atmosphere is usually fabulous, so I should note that since this is my first review.
The pricing is expected for this level of dining, but is by no means a great value. The wine list is extensive and provides wines at all pricing levels. Visconti's offers a great special occasion meal at a predictable price.
Love the food. Exceptional wine list. Tables were crammed together much to closely. Wait person was very friendly even though she was incredibly busy
Old school American style Italian
Late getting a table from a set reservation. Took extraordinarily long to get main entrees. Prices seem ok for the most part except the alcohol prices, which are too high.
Always great! Relaxed and friendly environment. Highly recommended.
Best customer service ever!! Great food - we will be back
Our favorite restaurant in the Greater Wenatchee area. I like it better than my old haunt, the Leavenworth Viscontis.
As on last Saturday night, the noise level can be moderate because it is a small place with several interesting small dining rooms.
Sammy our waitress was fantastic as usual. The food is always very good. The wine list is constantly changing to introduce local and regional choices. The Canvasback Cabernet Sauvignon, a new one on the wine-by-glass menu, was superb! Vineyard and winery in the Red Mountain area (Tri-Cities adjacent).
NOT GOOD. Small, crowded, dark inside and a bit worn looking, locally owned place with a pretentious wait staff and management burdened by an irritating parochial arrogance. We started with a salad to share. It was passable and the greens were fresh. We also ordered an appetizer of minestrone. Sadly, a small cup of broth with nothing but cabbage in it for veggies was served. Perhaps the overly dark atmosphere of the restaurant prevented the server from seeing what they were putting in the cup? In any case, we had high hopes for the salmon, but to no avail. When ordering two orders of the 29 dollar king salmon filet "medium", we specifically asked that it not be overcooked. BOTH orders were ruined by overcooking. Dry, and with a very strong fishy flavor, which made me wonder about the freshness. When this was brought to the attention of the waitress, she was defensive instead of helpful. Later, the manager came by to ask if we wanted another piece of fish. Too late. We declined. Needless to say, this was a disappointing experience. The waitress actually asked if we wanted dessert after this fiasco. The good news is, there are plenty of really solid, consistent, friendly and classy eateries in and around Wenatchee. If you must come here, it may be best to stick with the pasta.
Amazing Service and Great Food As Always! The staff is amazing and very attentive.
Were in town for a quick visit. Visconti's was just the right fit for us on a Friday evening after a days' drive. the food was very good and service was very pleasant. I would visit again.
As always...Visconti's was excellent...my husband had the halibut with saffron risotto; myself...the Chipino ...paired with chelan Estates MErlot...we live in Chelan...worth the drive..........
Super tasty food. Ate too much delicious bread. My bad. Dessert was great and I really felt my date and I were accommodated very well. Always a good time until you gotta pay the bill.
Being that it was New Years Eve the place was busy with reservations. When we arrived they were running late on their scheduled reservation timing, which was fine. However, after 40 minutes of waiting past our reservation time we were the only ones left waiting. It turns out we were skipped over and marked as a "no show". This was also a first date, so the two of us were both getting a little awkwardly hungry. We were given a free appetizer for the inconvenience. It was mentioned at least twice more to us how they were sorry for the mix up. It was nice to be apologetic, but we were ready to move on to our meal. The server was friendly and attentive and the food was good, if not a little salty. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, and I always do enjoy the food and the service at all of your establishments.
Prompt seating for our reservation time. Great service and attentiveness during meal. Excellent menu choices and food was excellent and presented artfully. This is a class 4/5 restaurant with good ambiance.
We heard the waiter tell the other patrons what the specials were why not us
Delicious food: especially the seafood special (= seared halibut)
We greatly enjoyed our dinner. Food tasted good and service was great.
A delicious go to restaurant. we expect a good meal and we are never disappointed.
Everything was wonderful from the time we were seated until the last bite of dessert! Food and drink were excellent as well as the wait staff. Can't wait to go back again.
Birthday with family
Consistently great food and service as usual, especially enjoyed the bartender.
Visconti's lived up to its well-earned reputation as the best place in Wenatchee for fine dining. Its extensive menu offered all the classics of Italian-American restaurants and our selections were well-executed and sizable, which meant that its expensive prices (over $30 for our entrees) seemed fairly priced. Service was friendly and efficient. But the timing of various courses on a crowded Saturday evening could definitely have been improved, as we ended up feeling rushed throughout the meal -- not a good thing at those prices! Since Visconti's is said to always be packed, one should be able to assume that the servers and the kitchen and bar would have timing down to the precision of a Swiss watch, but that was not so. Still, these two first-time diners at Visconti's from Seattle would probably return, should we find ourselves in Wenatchee again.
My pasta was delicious and I really appreciated the gluten free option!!!
