Just as good as two years ago. Food and service great.
Bartenders and their creations were stellar. Food was delicious. Biggest selection of Amaros in the state. We sampled several and they were all delicious.
Hands down the worst service we have experienced possibly ever. The waiter was rude, unhelpful, and is probably the reason the food and drinks didn’t taste good. Awful experience, and we left feeling like we wasted an evening.
EVAN WAS AMAZING... AND EVERY COURSE SERVED WAS FANTASTIC. CAN NOT WAIT TO GO AGAIN.
FANTASTIC!!! My husband and I dine frequently at Virtu Honest Craft. It’s a favorite of ours. EVERY food item on the menu is ALWAYS DELICIOUS. The service is impeccable.
Excellent service, wonderful food, and exquisite wine pairings. Highly reccomended.
Delicious food and excellent service. We had a great experience and will definitely return. Staff went above and beyond making our Sunday brunch a memorable experience.
Brunch was spectacular
Loved our waiter, delicious food, great atmosphere for a special occasion
Food was great, highly suggest the wine pairing it was on point with every course
First timer and will be back for sure. Enjoyed the evening completely.
Amazing experience! Food and service was impeccable. Really beautiful little spot here.
Just a fantastic experience overall. Loved all of the dishes we had from the starters to dessert. Started with the Octopus and Asparagus. Both were fantastic. We ordered the extra course of Spaghetti that was absolutely incredible. Entree was the Duck for me and my wife ordered the Pork. The Duck was amazing, the pork was very good, cooked perfectly but could have used a little more flavor. The chocolate dessert was what every dessert should strive to be. My mouth is still watering thinking about how good it was. We also did the wine pairings that were quite good. Only one I think they got wrong from a wine standpoint was the dessert wine pairings.
Overall just a great experience and we will be back.
Very enjoyable ambiance tucked away in a court off Marshall Way. My first course of burrata, fresh figs and prosciutto was delicious. My husband had the octopus that was very salty as was his main course sea bass. The smoked duck was medium rare—perfect. The chef needs to dial back on the salt that almost ruined the dinner.
Food was the best I ever had. Waiter was amazing
We went to celebrate a birthday. Great service and food! We were seated in a private dining room which at first it felt odd to be removed from the main dining area. But ended up being happy with it as main dining area was crowded and loud.
We did not sit outside after all, it was 106 degrees. So we sat at the bar and had outstanding wait staff and fellow diners.
Great first course and wine pairing! Fresh pasta outstanding. Nice patio, loud inside.
We visited the restaurant for an anniversary dinner and are so glad we did. The food was wonderful, and the chef put a lot of thought into the menu. We did a wine pairing and each wine really complimented the meal. The restaurant was laid back and not pretentious. If you are a foodie, you have found your perfect spot. The meal is expensive, but definitely worth the cost. I highly recommend this restaurant for your next special occasion.
We have always loved Virtu, but for whatever reason the food was truly outstanding last night. Every dish was perfect and delicious. We’ve never been disappointed.
Overall the food was not anything impressive. The octopus appetizer was very salty.
We had both pasta dishes, the spaghetti was extremely overcooked and the gnocchi was very bland. The fish entree was good and cooked perfectly, but the main highlight of the menu was the dessert. We ordered both desserts, the cake and the pudding, and they were incredible.
The service was the major downfall of our experience. Our waiter had an attitude with us from the get-go. He did not make us feel welcome at all and we felt as if we were an inconvenience to him the whole night. He was not accomodating when we asked simple requests like eliminating a table from our seating arrangement so we could be closer together (we had an odd number of people at an 8 person table) and when we asked if we could switch out a liquor from a cocktail on the menu. He seemed extremely annoyed with us. I worked in restaurants and bars for 10 years and am always respectful towards servers and understanding of certain things, but I did not appreciate the way he acted towards us.
Drink service for first round was extremely delayed and arrived as our appetizers did. The octopus dish was mediocre at best at oddly presented (all cut up and strewn about the plate). The up charge for the tomahawk steak was a little steep. Yes, the portion is extremely large but it is arguably too large as it really is an amount of food for 3 people (the salad alone is big enough for four people). Two full sized men could consume if that was all they ate, but leftovers for sure for many couples. $320 with tax that included 3 drinks. Nothing drawing me back
Virtu is a very dependable Scottsdale restaurant. Great Italian fare although not as on point as normal this time around. The Polpo and Tuscan steak are favorites of mine, but last night seemed less tasty…blame it on COVID!
Simply the best food and drink we’ve had in a long long time. Amazing!
Came in hostess attended us quickly and sat us in a smaller room across the bigger dining bar area. Felt secluded but at the same time crowded, 4 tables fit in the small room and we sat next to other tables very close about 2 feet apart. Not a good spot if you want to feel secluded. We ordered the 3 course meal with wine pairing. Every food item with the wine pairing was awesome but my first entree. I ordered the Polpo, the Octopus texture was amazing, it was not chewy it felt like eating soft meat. The only problem I had was that the Octopus was too charred, it was so bad that it took away the great flavor when you would eat it and the burnt areas took precedence over every other flavor. I had to try and cut off the burnt charred areas to enjoy my meal.
Truly spectacular. Every course was amazing, and it seemed to just get better and better. Our waiter was amazingly knowledgeable about both the food and the paired wines. We truly enjoyed every moment of the meal. The appetizers, the pasta course, and the branzino main were just phenomenal. And the sticky toffee chocolate cake desert was practically a religious moment for me (says a lot since I’m not a dessert person!). I’m looking forward to getting to dine here again.
Fantastic meal. Loved it!!
Virtu Honest Craft is our favorite restaurant in the Phoenix metro area. The chef, Gio Osso, has an amazing continental menu. We've ordered a variety of items over the past two years, and only top quality ingredients are combined to make the most delicious meals. Right now, they have pulled together COVID-19 friendly three course meals, which you can mix and match.
Last night, my husband and I celebrated our 35th Wedding anniversary at Virtu. My husband had the Asparagi small plate, the tuna second course and the butterscotch pudding. I had the burrata small plate with prosciutto, the pork ribs for the second course and the toffee cake. Finally, as an alternate / additional plate, we had the gnocchi - which was my favorite dish of the night! We loved our own plates plus each others' plates, the food is simply the best!
Our only small complaint is that pasta dishes are not included as part of the three-course meals and must be ordered separately. We brought home lots of leftovers as a result, but had to have that gnocchi!
Not an inexpensive dinner, but worth every penny we paid!
Finally, we love the service at Virtu. Friendly, prompt and attentive, but not overkill. Made some great recommendations on the menu and wine.
Overall, another wonderful visit at Virtu Honest Craft, and already planning for our next visit. Thank you!
Very good food, but in and
A cut above. Food is prepared and presented in an outstanding way
my 2nd time here, have not been impressed, food is just ok.
Very overpriced $75 per person + tax and Tip= close to $100/person.
Outstanding service and tasty food.
What else do you need?
Excellent food! We did the wine pairing as well also excellent. Highly recommend this place!
im not sure why they offer outdoor seating if the dont have mister. wow. the service was perfect. but not comming back
Wonderful food and outstanding service. The menu choices are excellent.
Nice Prix fix menu. Started with the octopus and asparagus. Asparagus dish was decadent and octopus was tender. Main dishes included the branzino and pork. Branzino was delicious, pork dish could have used a sauce. Butterscotch pudding and chocolate cake to finish Yummy!! Opted for wine pairing which was perfecto! Server was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.
Too loud, but amazing amazing flavors.
We went to celebrate our anniversary and had the greatest time. The food was AMAZING, we added the wine pairing and it was perfect. Our waiter was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely would visit again.
Another Amazing experience at Virtu. Service was on point, the food was perfect and the wine pairings were spot on. Don't miss the Octopus. Seriously.
