Ivan was amazing super attentive the food was to DIE for special thank you to the chef cooking that tomahawk steak MR. amazingly perfect
Outstanding service, presentation and attention to detail. Went for anniversary and were wished Happy Anniversary numerous times. Quality of food and cocktails were excellent. The tables are spaced appropriately and bus staff were using food grade sanitizer on the tables after each seating. These guys are doing everything right during very difficult times. We will be back.
Another great experience at Virtu Honest Craft. The cocktails are always interesting and tasty. The pre fixe menu makes it easy to share since it's so hard to choose.
Always spectacular service with the finest of ingredients coming together for unique and innovative upscale menu!
Fresh ingredients, fresh ideas, great drinks without the pretentiousness.
Delicious food and very tasty drinks in a relaxed beautiful ambience.
Outstanding as always for a culinary experience with impeccable wine knowledge from server, Michael. A definite “must try” for food lovers!
Good food and ambiance, but we have had better food for less. Our server was focused on another group we could tell.
Bad attitude by server. 12th time we’ve dined here& will not go back. Duck special
Was grizzly& flavorless, priceless higher than ever.
We have sent dozens of friends& colleagues. We will not go back
Sad sinking ship:(
Allow me to get this straight. You've been here 12 times, sent dozens of friends and not one positive review. 1 less than stellar experience and you won't be back and we're a sinking ship. That's pretty hurtful and arrogant on your part. Considering you won't be back, we have no chance of redeeming ourselves. Thank you for enjoying your experience the other 12 times and for sending guests our way. Talk about bad attitude.
This was my second time to Virtu and the first for my wife. The are offering a 3 course tasting menu, with wine pairings. The meal was beautiful to look at and each dish was presented with flair. I definitely recommend the wine pairings...as the taste of the food definitely is enhanced. Will come again.
Excellently prepared authentic Italian dishes. Great ambience. The service is outstanding.
Branzino was cold.
2 dinners and 4 drinks came to $250
Perfect intimate dining experience. Streamlined menu with high quality ingredients, prepared with a light touch. Service is attentive without being intrusive.
Amazing food! The polpo was great! Thanks Evan, your service is great!
It was an overall good dining experience at Virtu.
This our our ABSOLUTE favorite restaurant. We have been coming here every year for our anniversary and we love it even more every time. Best food in Scottsdale hands down. Ivan has been our server our last two times and he is awesome. Everyone is so friendly and so knowledgeable about the food. Always recommend this place to everyone
Lovely meal from start to finish. Great service and creative bar staff. Fresh seasonal menu. I recommend the duck.
Consistently excellent food and cocktails! Thoroughly enjoyed the polpo and the Niman pork chop. The budino for desert was outstanding! Can't wait to go back!
Food was awful for the value. $300 dinner for two and octopus was burned and dry, branzino was mediocre and blah, drinks were good. Wouldn’t recommend virtu, wouldn’t go back.
This is our "Go-to_ place for special occasions. Superb service, ambiance (especially outside seating, and the food...the BEST.
The dinners at Virtu were exceptional as always. Well prepared food with the right balance of flavors. Wine pairings work very well with the entire dinner. Wonderful place
As always a delicious meal great service !
My absolute favorite!
Amazing celebration spot, they never disappoint!!
The food was amazing, just as expected. The dinner format where you choose the starter, entree and dessert is even better with the wine pairing. I can't wait until I have another Budino.
Our server was very attentive and helpful. The food was excellent. I lived in Italy for six years and the bistecca italiana was reminiscent of the great steaks we ate in Milano. Also, the anatra dish (duck in Italian) was delicious! However, we chose to sit outside due to the pandemic and there were no fans nor outdoor misting. At 108 degrees at 7 pm, it made for a very unenjoyable experience. Virtu has such a beautiful outdoor venue; I highly recommend making better use of it. Otherwise, a $500 dinner for 4 in blistering heat, regardless of how wonderful the dishes are, is not one worth repeating.
Oh Princess, 2 stars because of YOUR CHOICE, is truly unbelievable. We cannot control the weather! We're trying to survive this pandemic. The devastation to our industry is beyond anyone's imagination but yet you think it's a good idea to kick someone when they're down. There comes a point when there's nothing you can do with the record heat we're having, besides, that costs money which no restaurant during this time has. I do appreciate the kind words on the food and service. Thank you
We loved our food for the most part, my fiancé thought the branzino was a bit oily. We sat on the patio and they didn’t have any misters so we ended up taking out dessert to go since we were sweating so badly. Our service was great and the ambiance was nice.
Only issue is we were outside in August, they need misters
Virtu was a great experience for my friend's birthday. They offer a $75 prix fix menu that includes an appetiser, an entire, and a dessert. Both appetisers (pulpo and burrata) were outstanding. The entrees (I got the duck dish and my friend got the spaghetti) were very good although the duck's sides felt a bit out of balance lacking the texture contrast. Finally, my friend's dessert was outstanding (budino) but my chocolate cake was underwhelming. Nonetheless, the atmosphere, service, cocktails, and experience were well worth it, and I will be back to try more of the menu and enjoy the terrace (was too hot for it this time).
Where to begin. When they called to confirm my reservation I mentioned my daughter was vegan because it was a pre-fixe menu. They accommodated every course for her! It was the best octopus I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot! My cocktail was both delicious and beautiful. I will definitely return on every visit to Scottsdale!
I'm, not a fan of having the person who is our waiter respond to my questions or requests with another question.
Appetizers were over seasoned and cold.
The main courses were also cold. My friend ordered the sea bass and she didn't like it but the waiter never came back to the table to inquire and when she didn't eat any of it he asked if she wanted a box, but didn't bother to ask if there was something wrong.
Desserts were ok.
The value of what we received in comparison to what I paid is the reason for this review.
I had the octopus with a pork chop, my wife had the spagetti then we both did the toffee cake.
The octopus was grilled perfectly but did have a very hot (spicy) pepper that brought too much heat and over powered the natural flavor of the meat. The other problem was, each and every piece of octopus had multiple grains of sand inside of the meat to that was disappointing. The pork chop was the best I've ever had, done perfectly. The wifes spaghetti was really good but a very small portion. For me this was about a $50 dinner but we drank water and I had a single glass of wine, just two people was $201.56
Not worth the $75 per person “Summer” menu. Definitely over priced.
Another great night introducing friends to Virtu! Thanks for another fantastic dining experience!!
We had a wonderful experience, a true 10! The food was amazing...
First time eating here on a visit from out of town. Fixed menu due to the way things are these days but the food, cocktails, and wine pairings with the courses were all excellent. The polpo and bistecca tagliata were particularly outstanding.
We were over charged by also 100.00 and when we asked for an Explanation we were told to talk to a manager and of course there’s not a manager on site at the time according to the staff.
We have tried to reconcile the situation multiple times since that day with no luck every time we go it appears there’s no manager
I was told by the manager of the hotel this is happened before and that we should keep trying to fix it however I have yet to have somebody call me back or actually contact me regarding this situation I’ve always had to make the effort
I understand everyone is desperate and money is tight but this was unacceptable
Excellent food and cocktails. Definitely worth to come back and try other things on the menu:
Possibly our favorite restaurant in Scottsdale. Consistent, innovative menu, expertly curated wine list, genius cocktails and superb wait staff... all pulled off with a casual ease that disguises just how good they are.
Dine inside for a bistro feel or outside for a flowered patio experience.
