We had friends in from out of town and booked a table outside. Even though it was a cool evening, the heater kept everyone comfortable. Our waiter was amazing and detailed every item on the small menu. The variety of the menu was amazing and everyone found something to their liking. It was an amazing diversity of food and each item was incredible. We have been to Virtu in the past but they have really stepped it up! We can't wait to get back!

Loved everything ... octopus is amazing and we love the Asparagus with fried egg and bacon..!Halibut was delicious and not a skimpy serving which was appreciated . We sat outside which is a lovely area... however we started out at a table inside .. it felt dark , claustrophobic and extremely noisy . Hostess was lovely about changing the table. Waitstaff very professional and accommodating . We’ve eaten here before and will certainly return .’

Everything was exception except too crowded --- bar stools like sardines and
we had the two person table directly outside the front door so NO PRIVACY
whatsoever..... so no ambiance AND you heard everything ...

Waiter was exceptional and tipped him accordingly....

2nd time at Virtu, food is amazing! Not only is the chef incredible but so was Matt was our waiter! He could tell you every detail about the ingredients in each dish, knew the cocktail menu/beverage menu well enough to help pair with whatever you were having! This restaurant is quaint and has a gorgeous patio! 5 Star!!

I like to think we appreciate the small scale, non-chain, restaurants that challenge the pallet. What a pleasant surprise this place was. The food was great. The waiter was spot on with explanations and recommendations. Good wine and liquor selection. Where this really excelled was the ambiance. I swear I was in a courtyard in Verona or Sienna. Don’t miss out on this one Phoenix! Makes me want to try the bed and breakfast next time I’m in town.

The reservation was a last minute decision as we were touring the proximity and a local person recommended Virtu. We sat outside and our waiter was beyond remarkable with his knowledge of the food, drinks and pairings. The food was probably the best appetizer, dinner and desert combination I have experienced with n decades. It was that great! We started with the asparagus and octopus starters. Dinner for us were the pork chop and scallops entrees. Desert was capped with an aperitifs and the chocolate toffee cake. Everything was perfection!! My compliments! Highly recommend.

Dined at this restaurant while on a business trip in Scottsdale - chose it on the basis of numerous very good reviews. The service and ambience were great. The food does not warrant the price, and I'm saying that in comparison to NYC and San Francisco prices. The octopus was well cooked but poorly seasoned, and was served with what I can only describe as canned chickpeas. The duck, also cooked reasonably well, but completely bland and served with what tasted like frozen falafels and an unsavory sauce. Would fairly expect more for around $30 a main course.

We celebrated Valentine's Day here and loved the ambiance. While our server was great we were not very impressed with the food and feel it was very overpriced. The drink I ordered was great though and we did really enjoy the dessert and some of the food. Sadly, our main course took about 30 minutes to come out and the waiter did not acknowledge this. Overall we had a nice experience but decided we would not be spending Valentine's Day here again. With that said it is definitely a hidden gem and absolutely beautiful, especially the outdoor patio.

This is a very special place. Located in the "Old Scottsdale Arts section, across from the museum, it is easy to access with on street parking. Small sign, so look carefully. The seating is comfortable, and allows for great talking. We sat outside, and the shaded table was inviting and large enough to accommodate the service.
First of all, the brunch menu was full of unique and inviting choices. I chose the grilled octopus, which was served with a small and intriguing salad, and garbanzo beans. I have had octopus in many forms at really good places, but never anything as delightful as this. The portion was generous, and absolutely perfectly cooked. Great selection! My spouse chose the grilled cheese sandwich (her favorite food). It was grilled with a fig jelly that highlighted the intriguing cheese and convinced her that it was the best cheese sandwich she had ever had (and that is saying a lot). Our friends shared a fig salad and a marvelous mixed veggie, chicken quesadia like treat. They marveled at the combination. We all shared a magnificant gelato topped sticky bun for an unforgettable desert. Good wine menu, and just right service. A delightful and memorable brunch!
