Nice lunch options for M-F. Tried the BBQ Bowl with brisket, more like a composed salad, no dressing per se, topped with BBQ sauce. I enjoy it plain, although if you wanted dressing you could probably ask. I didn’t feel like filling up on the regular BBQ plates.

Excellent service, but we had to wait for our reserved table. Meet items were delicious, but sides were average. Restaurant was crowded, worn, and did not seem clean. An unused to-go bag from a previous customer was left on the window ledge by our table.

They have such great food and drinks!! Get the Fall of the porch iced tea, trust me. Although ask for it without ice. I stupidly forgot to do that the first time and they FILLED it so much with ice that it was a rip off.

We visited Virgils last year on previous visit to NY & loved our meal.. The burger itself was really nice & cooked to perfection but the beef was cold & Brioche was dry & falling apart.. It was busy & the next table we're overly loud in their conversation & could have been heard outside i think..

All of our food was passable but nothing more and came out barely warm. The brisket was dry and the French fries were cold. Not a destination for food. A football game was on the many huge TVs in the dining room and the noise level made it almost impossible to have a conversation. My husband did like his drinks a lot; two Pina coladas. The three of us agreed that we would not return for another dinner.

Virgil’s is a great spot. This was our first time and we were impressed - big crowd and the perfect place to watch the playoffs (tvs everywhere). The ribs, mac & cheese, hush puppies, bbq chips, and mashed potatoes were our favs! The cornbread and brisket were a litltle dry. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our experience and will be back! The managers are excellent - making sure their customers feel safe and welcomed!

It was our first time there and we were very excited to try the food. The Waitress told us she was in the middle of a shift change and rushed us through the order. We asked for suggestions and she didn’t seem very interested… I understand it’s a shift change but she acted a little rude. Food was Luke warm basically cold & the portions were small for the price.
