Went with my wife and our young daughter. Easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had as a family in years. Beautiful restaurant, spectacular food, great staff,romantic atmosphere. We will be back soon.

Service is always very attentive but not overbearing. Ambience and décor are perfect for a romantic date. Owner, Adrian, is always very accommodating and attentive. Great food and presentation. Love this restaurant. We worth it
Second visit here for a special occasion and I was not disappointed. Staff were friendly and informative, food was fantastic and atmosphere was welcoming. Great spot for a special date where good food, drink and conversation all go together. A little pricey but worth it if you take your time and enjoy.

A true landmark and Edmonton iconic Italian Restaurant . Waiters are old school and are true professionals . I love going there because of the service, ambiance and food. Martini's are outstanding as well as their wine list.I can't wait for the patio to be open.One of the best in town.
What can I say......absolutely impeccable food and service. Just like going home every time we visit. Adrian is amazing and his personality lights up the room.
My brother and sister in law were duly impressed with the restaurant and it’s food! It was a pleasure to introduce them to Violino’s!
Have been fond of Violino in the past, but was very disappointed this time. One order of rack of lamb and another of beef tenderloin, both ordered medium rare, came anywhere from medium to well-done, while the beef short ribs dish was completely cold.
I'm not sure I want to risk recommending the restaurant any more as I have done in the past.
Amazing service and the food was delicious
We were celebrating the engagement of my brother and his finance visiting from Ontario and were looking for a special experience in a restaurant where we could talk. Our waiter, Mido, was very animated and professional and gave us exceptional service. His recommendations for food items were exceptional and his knowledge of the wine list was very helpful. The food was amazing and the visual presentation warranted a picture. Our guests were very impressed and remarked that they would certainly try the restaurant again when returning to Edmonton. All-in-all a very memorable evening.
The food was tasty but not worth the price. Server was very good, and the manager was also very pleasant. Lovely old home, but we were seated beside the staircase, so when guests walked up the stairs, their feet were at our eye level. This took away from the ambiance of the beautiful room.

Have visited several times, different occasions & company - all memorable. Menu excellent with interesting variations - inviting you to come back for another taste experience. Last occassion we were accompanied by two of our sons & their wives; server interacted so well with each and every one - adding to the evening's enjoyment. A great evening.

Everything was amazing from the moment we stepped inside to when we exited the building. The service was great as well as the food. It came out pretty quickly. I wouldn't definitely come back here again.

It was Valentine’s Day the menu was ok, the shrimp was over cooked but the waitress came right back with another plate that was much better. The unpleasant experience was that the air conditioning was blowing right overtop of our table. I asked if it could be turned off and it was for about 5 min and then it came back on. I then moved seats and asked to speak with the manager and asked him to stand where I was sitting and tell me how he felt. He said it’s cold “but that’s what happens with a 109 yr old house”. Needles to say, while he took $50.00 off my $300.00 bill it was an unpleasant evening. Don’t think I will be going back.
Ambience was excellent as was the presentation of the 7 course Valentine's Day meal. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience - start to finish.

So many great options on the menu. Tried many —- all amazing. Can’t wait to return!

The management is terrible. We were actually given unwashed cutlery, and mugs. Very bad. When I asked that the manager be notified, we didn’t even get an apology.

This restaurant never fails to impress. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, wonderful ambience. They do the little "extras" which make for a great experience.
Truly exceptionally good food, with unique recipes and presentation. Service too was excellent with our knowledgeable, polite and friendly server(Mido). Meal was pricey for a lunch but worth it!

Violino has been my favorite resteraunt for many years. The food is wonderfully prepared and I have never been dissapointed.
Our table was very intimate and allowed very good conversation with my date. The service was wonderful with the server and the owner coming to make sure everything was up to our expectations. The menu and wine list allowed for so many great choices. My date had the Maple Salmon entree and I had the special Surf & Turf. Both meals were delicious and plentiful. Then it was time for desert which was awesome Tiramisu. The prices are what you would expect for such fine dining in this incredible old house turned restaurant. We will be back !!
My fiancée and I went for our date night dinner here and were not disappointed. The food was incredible. The staff very knowledgeable (even about the age of the house and it’s history) as well as attentive. We loved the food and the quaint atmosphere.
Food was amazing. We had bought a $99 Romantic Dinner certificate at Christmas so used it on the 27th. of January. Service was not bad - the original waiter seemed to "drop us" after our meal was brought out and we ended up with another waitress. Kind of felt we were left in limbo for awhile. Wonder who actually got the tip that was left from the the certificate and as well the exra tip left for the drinks coffee and dessert.
We were seated next to the stairs and every time someone would walk up or down the stair their shose would pass very close to our table surface wehere our food is supposed to be, let alone the noise of the foot steps of people walking up and down. We asked who I think is the (Service Manager) to change our table and he did immediately (Thanks to him). I really recommend removing that table or at least changing the stairs fence by installing a board instead of the bars so at least no one gets any dirt in their food because of the shoes passing by or at least any dust from the carpet.
First time here. Very nice area in Edmonton, location and restaurant was very pleasant. Server was very competent, attentive and friendly.
The appetizers we ordered were presented well and enjoyed. We had Arancini, Bruschetta and Crab Cakes
Main entrees were enjoyed. Ribeye steak was one of the best had in a while. Ravioli and pasta with Bolognese also good. The biggest critique of this restaurant is the price of the food vs the the quality. Everything is over priced. I had the lasagna for $29. I expect to be wowed! It was over ‘reheated’, over powered with sausage and not fresh pasta.
Would we go back? Likely not. No dessert and only 1 glass f wine for a table of 4 and the total bill was over $200 before tip.

Service was great. Our server was fantastic. The food however was extremely poor. Everything was over cooked and very dry. I would be embarrassed to serve it. To bad as it’s a cute restaurant. Definitely wouldn’t go back.
