I love going there and it never disappoints - all the people I have sent there have enjoyed it too.
What can i say? They r great!!
I had been here quite a few times for lunch but never over dinner. I did not like sharing our table with other strangers and the music was too loud. Food is always amazing and the drinks are awesome.
Fantastic food and craft cocktails. Enjoyed the rabbit and whiskey drinks. Great atmosphere.
Nice!!!!! Thank you.
I had a business meeting with a potential client who favors Port Wine. Vintry has a nice selection of wine overall, and several
ports that were excellent.
Good for lunch.
Had a relaxed and very nice tapas dinner here. Good choice on offer (we did the papas braves, the braised short ribs and pincho baby back ribs). There's a large selection of wines and whiskies by the glass to choose from and reasonably priced for NYC. Food was tasty, served nicely and not overpriced. Staff were friendly and attentive.
We sat inside at the window seats, as it was a really hot evening and outside was packed - Stone Street is a great location for eateries and places to drink. There was a nice ambience inside and a lively fun atmosphere outside. Great place to people watch and to meet friends for dinner or just a drink. Will eat here again!
Great atmosphere, but no happy hour in an area where everyone specifically goes for happy hour considering it is in the financial district.
Loved it! Going back again when we are in town again in a few weeks. The bar stools could be a bit more comfortable. Great food and wine!
Excellent selection of whiskeys! Food was top notch. Service was impeccable. This was a casual business dinner and it could not have been a better spot in the downtown area. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a business meal, casual meeting and meeting with friends. Did I mention the exceptional service and attention to every detail? It was really a memorable evening because of the exceptional service.
The only bad thing was the bathroom.... it was pretty gross in there. Other than that everything was perfect
Great find that is slightly hidden away in downtown NYC. Worth the search.
Food and ambiance are great as always, but at this time of the year I think the owner should stop saving on heating this place. When we walked in, we felt as in the Ice Castle. It is ridiculous. As we sat down hoping that Swedish Glogg will warm us up - which it did - two couples came and left stating out loud that it feels like in a freezer. If the owners want to discourage customers I would suggest to close down for winter, because I bet those people won't come back. The place is lovely little gem, but I personally I hate eating inside with my fur coat on. I can do it in Russia but not in New York.
This is a really nice place, the staff was fantastic, attentive, are knowledgeable about what they serve and super friendly.
Cocktails are pricey but that's typical for the area, and they are quite tasty. Good spot for a first date in the Financial District.
Located on the vibrant Stone St., there is a lot happening in the area. Great for drinks and small plates, although the wine/cocktails/bourbon list is way too extensive.
Fun seating available outside on Stone Ave. The street is closed off and set up similar to a biergarten. We chose to eat inside since it was a warm evening and also because we wanted to be able to converse more easily than it would have been outside due to the noise level. We ordered 3 plates to share - sliders, garlic shrimp and gnocchi. All 3 were delicious. The wait staff were attentive, but not constantly in your face, so we did not feel at all rushed. They have an extensive wine and whiskey menu, but also a full bar and beer selection. We would return!
The panini and salads were fantastic!
More a whiskey and wine bar than a place for a sit down dinner. Great choices on the bar side; the food was pretty good for a limited menu, mostly small plates. The short rib sliders were very tasty; the burgers were good. The room itself was pretty dark, and primarily table top seating.
Fun Outdoor Seating for Lunch
Good sandwiches and soup.
Friendly attentive service.
Great service, food and ambiance. Will definitely be back!!
We were entertaining friends from out of town and chose this restaurant on a whim. They did not disappoint. the quality of the food, service and drinks was outstanding.
Inside a little too loud with the music, so we went outside and with the heat lamps was perfect... The food and service was excellent. Would definitely go again..
Lovely service, delicious and original menu, fabulous cocktails!
Decided to try brunch at Vintry since I had been here before for drinks and noticed the menu sounded delicious. The wording of the brunch menu both online and in the restaurant is a bit misleading since it implies that the brunch with cocktails is $20, not that the cocktails (if you choose to have unlimited)are an additional $20 with an entree. We had to clarify with the server, whose name I am unsure of since she never mentioned it, but who was pleasant and attentive nonetheless. The entrees were both good - we chose the smoked salmon scramble and the mushroom hash, as were the mimosas. The biggest complaint we had was how loud and intrusive the music was for so early in the day in so small a space. It was hard to be comfortable and settle into any kind of conversation with the loud, somewhat obnoxious choice of music. We liked the food but in terms of having a comfortable, enjoyable low-key meal on a Sunday it was not what we hoped. I am used to NYC prices but $70 for two people for one mimosa and one entree each also seemed a bit much considering the overall experience.
Took my new team out for drinks. Intimate setting and great service. I want to bring my husband next!
Great wine list, great for groups, great food tapas style
Vintry is a neighborhood gem! Vintry is located on picturesque Stone Street, serving amazing food, creative cocktails, with a solid wine cellar. Whether you're looking for a place for brunch with your foodie friends, or a romantic dinner for two with your partner, Vintry won't disappoint.
Vintry Wine and Whiskey is a hidden gem on Stone Street. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but I fully recommend the octopus, veel meatballs, and ESPECIALLY the truffle mushroom cavatelli. The cavatelli is easily the best item on the menu, my mouth is watering even thinking about it.
Dropped in for lunch. Outstanding service. Food was good. Would be a great place to meet friends.
Tuna tartar and Kobe burger were great
I visited Vintry Wine & Whiskey with three friends during a recent visit to NYC. We visited the 9/11 Memorial and were looking for something in the area slightly off the beaten path. Ratings looked good on Open Table and there was a cheese plate on the menu so we went with it. The restaurant was small but not over crowded. My only complaint is that our waitress was a little slow. Generally I wouldn't have been bothered by that but we were basically all famished by the time we got there. The Veal Meatballs were excellent. Prices are very reasonable especially for the city. We had an appetizer, 4 entrees, drinks, and 2 desserts for $230 with tip.
Everything were extremely delicious but the Kobe burger and the Creole cocktail were simply amazing.
Huge drink menu, small food menu - both are good. The bites were way above average Cool little place. Highly recommended.
As a regular living close by, Vintry is the standout in the area. Amazing food, drink, beautiful decor and kind and lovely staff. The hours are great as they stay open later than most. Victoria knows about my kobe burger midnight snack obsession! The bartender (and possibly owner?) is friendly and knowledgeable. Love this place.
First time here. Server was helpful with selections. As a small plates place, sharing was part of the whole experience. Drinks were expertly mixed and garnished with flair. Only the extremely high noise level distracted from a great evening.
Had lunch here with my wife for my 38th birthday. Nice wine list, good food and really good service. With wine and a dessert for two, Bill was under a buck. Not bad for FiDi . I'm not rushing back but it's definitely a place I would come back to.
I like it as the food is always really good, and the service and staff are really pleasant. I've never been disappointed.
Came in for brunch.. service could not have been better. Food was really good.. great flavors . Had the kobe beef burger with mushrooms.. really good, maybe a little on the small side. My partner was still hungry after eating one .. so he ordered another. Really love the restaurant and can't wait to go back
