Vintner Grill Ratings and Reviews
My new favorite restaurant in Las Vegas - a jewel hidden well off the strip with amazing cuisine in a non pretentious, yet classy dining environment. Service was outstanding (Arron was our waiter) - attentive without hovering. Saw a lot of locals dining there and dress ranged from business to clubbing to dressy casual.
Probably the best overall dining experience I’ve had in Vegas since Rosemary’s Restaurant left the market ~2010. It’s a $25 Uber ride there and back, but well worth it!
It was nice to see smaller steaks offered on the menu. The salmon entree came with spaghetti squash instead of a the usual pasta or potato side. As someone who follows a keto diet I was very glad to see this lower carb alternative. Everything was prepared perfectly. Highly recommend.
I love this place. The food is excellent and so are the drinks. The service is usually good but I was disappointed this time. We had to wait quite awhile for our check. We had two different people waiting on us but they didn't check back with us. I will go back again but I hope the service is better.
Food was great as was the service. They took their time, we took our time - was nice to have a meal where nothing felt rushed. Got comped dessert since it was our anniversary. Diners were overall more dressed up than the typical LV restaurant where clothes run the gamut every night.
Restaurant refused to honour a booking we made for 8.30 even when we showed them proof of the reservation. The host was completely unsympathetic, unhelpful and smug and left us with nowhere to eat on Christmas Day even though we had reserved well in advance. Terrible customer service.
There are some great points to this place. The selection of cheese and meats are a must try if you are into it. I am. They will serve the plate with a mustard and jam, but neither enhance the cheese or meat selection. The strip steak is a must if you like beef. The lamb bolognese is also a good option. Be warned it has a kick. Also, don't be surprised if the pasta is a little over cooked. Vintner Grill cooks their vegetables to perfection and if you want fish, its hard to find a complaint. A good wine selection with reasonable priced options. For the dessert, the pecan tart is a must. The negative - the tuna carpaccio - it was on the cusp of turning, with a "fishy" taste. The appetizer was returned. It should have never been sent out, which is why i gave a 3 for food instead of 4.
