Vintner Grill Ratings and Reviews
This was our first time at Vintner Grill, but absolutely won't be our last. The food was wonderful, not just in taste but in presentation. The service was excellent, responding to our individual desires. We have eaten at many Michelin star (one, two, and three) restaurants, and found the food here at Michelin levels.
I celebrated my 50th Birthday at Vintner's Grill with 11 of my family and friends and it was amazing! We had the calamari and a variety of flatbreads as appetizers and they were delicious! We all had soup or salad (the butternut squash soup was fabulous) and drinks from the bar before our entrees came. When the entrees arrived, it was so quiet around the table because we were all enjoying the food so much that the waiters kept asking us if everything was okay.
The staff was attentive, but not overbearing, and they answered any questions we had about the menu.
Everything was fresh, delicious, seasoned perfectly, and cooked as ordered. I would highly recommend Vintner's Grill to anyone who wants a fabulous meal.
a local favorite that has maintained its food quality and selection over the years. Our meal was excellent although one of our main dishes was redone due to it being prepared contrary to instructions to the waiter. Vibe is ok but a bit stale due to weak, dated background music and dated video....really needs updating.
Had a fantastic meal and the best waiter named Joe. He was one of the best waiters we’ve ever had at Vintners. Very professional and yet so much fun. He made our dinner even more special. We were celebrating my brother in laws bday. Will definitely request Joe on our next visit.
For the first time in 22 years, my family decided to go out for Thanksgiving dinner. We couldn't have chosen a better place. Natalie, the lovely hostess who was celebrating her 21st birthday, seated us in a small dining room back by the large enclosed wine cupboard. It was much quieter there than in the main dining room and we were grateful for that. Our waiter was Joe, or maybe Clark Kent, because he was the image of Christopher Reeves. Also, out of tradition, I decided to order the steak. It was a prix fixe menu so it came with an incredible butternut squash soup to start, followed by the steak (perfectly cooked), mashed potatoes and asparagus. The dinner was topped off with a multilayer carrot cake with cheese cake filling between the layers, coconut and walnuts on the top. That and a French press coffee nearly finished me off.
The service was spot on (Thank you, Joe). And, something really important to me was the fact that the food was served piping hot. It is an all too often occurrence that we go to a nice restaurant to be served food that had obviously been sitting under the heat light waiting to be served. Vintner Grill could give some lessons to more expensive restaurants on the strip.
Thank you, VG, Joe and Natalie. My wife has decided now that she wants to eat out everything Thanksgiving.
Desperately in need of updating; both the menu and the restaurant. They have recently attempted to recover the chairs (the wrinkled fabric and loose seats give it away) but it’s time for more. It was nice 10 years ago when it was new, and is still decent, but overall, overpriced for what it is.
My husband and I have enjoyed this restaurant a few times, it’s a go-to for us. Unfortunately this experience was a bit disappointing. The food was so salty. It was a shame because it kinda ruined our meals. Neither of our dishes needed that much salt. Our server while nice never offered any specials when we sat down. We heard another service go over them with a nearby table so there must have been some. I will say that the cheese platter was amazing as always . Our bartender was also fantastic when we had a pre dinner drink. Although the host came over at 6:05 and made us feel rushed to be seated at our table. We had a 6pm reservation and the restaurant was far from busy. I don’t think we will be back.
We were there on a very busy Friday night and had an excellent time. Toni, our server, provided excellent service. We would highly recommend the octopus appetizer. The special that night was a large pork chop. It was very juicy and flavorful. I would definitely order it again. This place can be a bit hard to find but is well worth the effort.
