Now charging customers for employees' wages. Cohn group doesn't want to pay salaries so they just add a fee onto the tab. Shame on you.

What a nice venue. We happen to dine on Tuesday night "Date Night" which we were not aware of this so it was a nice surprise to enjoy two entrees and bottle of wine for the price. I'm a regular there where I will go with my girlfriend's for happy hour and sit in the lounge.
Dining with my boyfriend was very nice. Love the popper bread!

We love the booths around 2 pm! We met up with old friends from out of town and had a lot to talk about! The area was quiet and nice view with great service!

Who knew? Don't need to drive all the way into San Diego to get the very best. From the moment we were greeted, all the way through our exit. The best food, service, and people I have come across in a long time!

Our foursome dined on Tuesday evening, enjoyed the "date-night specials." Excellent value; wonderful service. I had the salmon and it was perfectly prepared, and the sides were very good.

I've had dinner twice here, and had to send back meals both times. Outside of Vintana's, I have never done that, never had to, and I'm 62 years old! The first time, last year on our anniversary, was because of contamination. Monday night, three in our party ordered the rib-eye special, or, more descriptive, the gristle and fat meat special. In both cases, management were great; comped the meals and offered to fix with a different entree. Service and ambiance are excellent, but at least in my experience the seem to have food provisioning and preparation problems.

I'll go back for a drink or happy hour, but not a pricey meal.

My daughter, husband and I enjoyed a late Sunday lunch celebrating a birthday. We tried a different lunch selection, but The food is always excellent. Our server, Jessica, was warm, timely, friendly and really enjoyed her job. Kudos to management for creating a wonderful environment in which to work.

Vintana still remains one of the best "real" restaurants of SD. Excellent food, excellent service...what else can one say. If you haven't tried it, do so, you won't be disappointed!!

Two weeks ago my wife and I enjoyed an near perfect dinner with outstanding service. We took our Grandson and wife to a special dinner this week to celebrate his promotion and the service was terrible. Our waiter took 45 minutes to deliver a glass of water and when our drinks came they had warmed from sitting. The dinner seemed to be prepared well but left under the heat lights by our waiter so long that everything had started drying on top.
After such a great meal and service the week before and trying to make this a special dinner we are terribly disappointed and now cannot trust that our meal would be good if we returned.

I met up with a couple of girlfriends and we had the perfect evening at Vintana. I love a good Malbec, and I thoroughly enjoyed mine out on the patio before we were seated at our table. Each of us loved the popover bread, as well as our individual meals. My friend ordered a diet coke and was so pleasantly surprised to have the waiter bring her a full one as she was setting down her empty glass- such service! We ordered a dessert (potted brownie- so very good!) and our waiter knew to bring 3 spoons for us to share the treat. The only thing that wasn't perfect was a large group was seated right on the other side of a railing and it got really loud- not perfect for our girlfriend night of talk. I loved where we were seated in the dining room, though. I guess it was more of an acoustic issue.

I love this restaurant! The view, the food, the location! But almost every time I visit, the service is a bit off. Everyone is friendly and mostly attentive. This last time I was a bit annoyed when I never received an iced tea refill and we were there for 90 minutes. Other times our food has come out AFTER other tables that were seated after us. But those things won't keep me from going again. I am just happy CRG decided to open a restaurant in North County Inland.

Went there recently and sat in the bar and had appetizer selections instead of an entrees, and cocktails. The food was just delicious and artfully presented. The drinks were excellent, with infused vodkas that were creative and definitely not run-of - mill. The service was fine--not overly attentive, but the bar area was busy and we didn't feel neglected. However, we thought we were ordering off the happy hour menu because that's what we were given to order from but we didn't get the happy hour prices, which should have been explained. I'd go back.

It was great from the get go. We were given a window table as we requested, and water and very tasty bread was immediately brought to the table. The waiter was attentive, knowledgable and friendly. We had a bottle of sparkling wine and one of Chardonnay . The salmon meal was first class and our friends were very happy with the sea bass. The salad was good but the brownie dessert was to die for. Love the ambiance provided by the lighted fountains. We will be back!!!

I should have gone to this place a long time ago. It's a nice restaurant above the Lexus dealership in Escondido. The view as the sun sets is great. The food was tastey. Service was excellent. And the custom vodka choices definitely made things interesting. The wine list is very nice too.

I love this place but today we had a couple of food issues. We ordered the brie appetizer which is usually to die for but today the garlic was way over cooked. My girlfriend had the shrimp salad and the shrimp were overdone. I had fish and chips which were excellent. Steve was our waiter and he made things right. He's a read asset to the restaurant.

Took advantage of Date Night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Nice, relaxed atmosphere and wonderful service. Food pretty good but not exceptional. Asked for a window seat and got one without any problem. Would definitely go back.

All was very well until it was time to pay, and Vintana could not accept my gift card because of in-house computer system issues.
