It was great . The food is wonderful and the service was very nice.
After a bike ride, we reserved a table with a sunset view to end the evening. Had to wait a bit since we missed our original reservation, but they were very accomodating and was able to rescheduled us. We ordered the drinks from the bar and there were Lexus cars in the showroom that we were checking out while waiting for our table. The service is good and the food is excellent. I did the pairing menu. The recommended wine and food paring was well done and the flavor and tastes compliment each other. Eventhough I don't like white wine, the selected mix was more than pleasing to my pallete.
If you are there around sunset, asked for a table with a sunset view. The restaurant is not directly facing West so sunset is at an angle to the viewing tables.
Upscale restaurant above a car dealership? We were skeptical and then pleasantly surprised. Great service.
Excellent choice with food menu to satisfy just about every diner regardless of budget, cuisine, desire for something different, and health focus. You know that you're at a great restaurant when the server's assistant ("Ricky") is just as helpful, alert and attentive, and engaging as the server !!!!
Food was good. When I ordered a salad as an extra with my meal, I told the waiter that I wanted to share it with my husband. When my husband got his dinner, a salad came with it. I'm sure that the waiter knew that. Why didn't he tell us so we didn't have to pay for the first salad. We could have just shared the salad that came with his dinner. At $10 for such a small salad, we would have appreciated it if he had told us so we didn't have to spend that extra money.
Our meals were delicious. I had the lobster grilled cheese sandwich with onion rings and enjoyed every bite. There was a lot of food in that sandwich and every bite was tasty. My wife had the consistently great sea bass. It was done just right and came with nice sides.
One again, we really enjoyed lunch at Vintana.
First time at Vintana, and it was excellent. Had the Lobster Grilled Cheese, and it was amazing. Great wine list and creative menu items. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
This place only knows how to serve good food chef Debra is the best in the area. The Ambiance fantastic it's just a really good place to dine.
Tuesday nights are Date Night at Vintana. They offer a special menu and great wine prices on selected bottles. It’s a fantastic value, delicious, and fun!
We had a window table that over looked the dancing waters fountain. We arrived at sunset and it was a beautiful view! Service was terrific! We had a fabulously romantic evening.

Very nice with excellent service, wine, food and ambiance. We reserve this one for special occasions.
We have dined at Vintana many times and it has been a good experience each time. The noise level can get a bit too high at times. Although we had reservations, we had to wait 15 minutes for our table but, after that, our server was "there" the perfect amount. Food was quite good (I had the Ahi stack) . We brought our own wine ('03 Mondavi Reserve Cab and a '14 Rombauer Chard) so it was excellent. Vintana is simply a fun place to dine that never gets old.
I have been going to Vintana for years. Have never once been disappointed.
Fish used for the cioppino tasted like 2-3 days old and overcooked.
I continue to drive from San Diego to Escondido to meet friends here for lunch. This restaurant always provides top notch service and food. A big plus is its location just off the freeway.

The food and overall experience is great. The only complaint we have is the accessibility ramp/lift to get to the window seating.
Came for Easter brunch. Food was just OK (lobster mash had no discernible lobster in it, filet mignon overcooked) and service was very slow in between courses (no drinks were refilled, etc). For the price, I honestly would have expected much better. Probably will not go back, had high hopes after one good dinner here, but this experience was not good.

Had an amazing time there dining with my new fiancee and my sister. All staffs were very attentive to us. And I was offered a free desert to celebrate my engagement. I'll definitely go back there.

Kids pasta portion was a fraction of the size compared to the chicken strip plate, for the same price. Appetizers are twice or more the price of the happy hour prices?
Another fantastic experience at Vintana. My filet was cooked perfectly and so was my husband's ribeye. As usual, the service was supurb, and the premium Happy Hour martini before dinner (only $8) was strong and delicious!

We had a bad experience the first time we ate at Vintana but decided to try it again for a birthday dinner. So glad we gave it another chance. we were a party of 6 and from the moment we entered the restaurant until we left it was an exceptional experience. The server in the lounge was prompt and efficient, the bartender was great, the hostess was excellent and we were seated right on time for our reservation. Our server was very personable and made sure everything was taken care of. We love the special touch of popovers as soon as you are seated. We each had a different entree and everyone of them was delicious and served fresh and hot and cooked just as we had ordered them. Also a nice dessert selection of which we tried a couple and they were excellent as well. The ambiance is very upscale and the entire experience could not have been better. The restaurant is a little pricey but as with all things, you get what you pay for. We loved it.
The food was "ok" and boring. Nothing anyone can't make at home. We had the filet mignon & potatoes and sea bass, sweet potatoes & greens. There was nothing special about the meals. No compelling reason to return or to recommend anyone. The bread's crust was simply too messy with every bite. Small portions. As to the service, our waiter always seemed to be in a hurry.
We were amazed at the poor condition of the chairs (upholstery fabric almost worn through) and that we found a dirty napkin and a long hair between the table and the window. The service and the food were both terrific, but at the prices paid we would not expect anything to look so shabby.
Exceeded expectations in many ways. The food was fantastic, and the service was extraordinary. Our server Bev helped make this a memorable birthday dinner. We will be back and we will recommend to our friends.
View from every table. Variety of selections on the Tuesday night "Date" menu which is $50 for 2 entrees and a bottle of wine.
The food and service were good, not outstanding, but the pricing has increased significantly since my last visit. 2 appetizers one of which was free, 2 entrees, and 4 glasses of wine in total was over $160 before a tip.
