I made reservations after seeing on sign out front of Vintana’s they were open for outdoor dining and my husband and I show up and it’s is completely closed

Last get together before outdoor dining was banned. Excellent food and service. Best outdoor dining venue we have experienced.

Love the changes on the lunch menu since I was there last.

The macadamia and coconut crusted sea bass was excellent and the cioppino was very good (light on fish variety but very tasty). The mud pie was disappointing - basically a large slab of coffee ice cream with whipped cream. All the servers were very friendly and the service was good enough for a busy night.

Our waiter was very inexperienced. He spoke too quietly, he did not notice that the busser did not bring our dinner rolls (we noticed at the end of our meal that other tables were receiving them). When I mentioned this to him, he said "Oh, my busser must have forgotten". Well HE should have noticed it and correct it. He took our drinks away (coke and gingerale) to do the refills (they still had some in it), we were without anything to drink and thirsty until he finally returned. He forgot our order and had to come back and ask again what we ordered. I asked for black tea to drink with dessert, but he brought me thai spice tea. We I asked him for the correct tea (black tea), he insisted that thai spice tea IS black tea and left the table. I had to ask the busser for the correct tea. The appetizers were good, but my dinner was not. I ate the mushrooms only of the sweet potato gnocci and pushed away the rest (odd flavor and gnocci had an odd texture). My husbands rib was dry and just not to the standards of a high quality restaurant. We rarely are able to go out on dates and we left very disappointed and frustrated!

The food was delicious, the service was friendly and helpful, the ambiance was lovely, sat in the patio and the heaters kept me plenty warm. Would absolutely recommend to a friend and would definitely come back again!

Really made a birthday celebration special with great service, food, and ambiance! Felt safely distanced dining in the corner of their outdoor patio and all staff wearing masks and keeping a little extra distance as well!

We love coming into Vintana, and AJ is an outstanding server. She is one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back.

The birthday experience was nice overall. Would love if there was more heating arrangements available for a comfortable outdoor dining experience throughout. Also, the options for gluten free are extremely limited. Would be nice to have the gf bread that everyone receives. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience that could use a couple more inclusive upgrades for dietary restrictions. Even just having the option to have some sides cooked in vegan butter instead of regular butter.

We to Vintana only 3 to 4 times a year. We celebrate our special occasions there. We have never been disappointed. Food is ALWAYS great and the customer service is a cut above all other places we go. Simply the best!!

A normally wonderful restaurant that is forced to serve diners outside. Unlike other restaurants, they kept their menu mostly intact from pre covid days. I'll go there again.

Service from beginning to end was great and food was fantastic!

Steak was cooked to perfection. Server was attentive but not overbearing. Good wine list to choose from. Outdoor dining at night was still warm enough by the fire pits and heaters available.

Felt good to hear live music and share a gourmet meal especially at this time.

Excellent dining experience all the way around. We were impressed! Only drawback, it was a tad cold in outdoor seating.

driving from LA to Escondido so it was last minute reservation for thanksgiving, Which my partner and I were satisfy with the service everything was perfect service was impeccable. Our server (Bree) and everyone else did go out of their way to accommodate us. Def, a place I would drive to again.

Vantana is one of the best restaurants in Escondido. The staff is amazing the food is excellent and the customer service they are beach no one.

My family chose to dine out this year for Thanksgiving due to Covid restrictions. Vintana did a wonderful job of creating a festive atmosphere and warm environment. The fixed menu had plenty of dinner options to choose from including traditional turkey and stuffing. A great time was had by all. Even my picky teen gobbled down all courses. I was required to change the reservation several times and they were very accommodating. Thank you, Vintana.
We can't wait to return for another special occasion or date night.

Give it a try for fine dining during Covid. Outside dining on a cold night was still comfortable. We had the filet and the pork chop. The chop was one of the best I've eaten. The filet was good but the sauce wasn't. Bisque was very good but could have been hotter (temp). Mac and Cheese was insane (good).

I had requested a table next to outdoor heaters. Unfortunately we were seated furthest away from the heaters. Unfortunately we were very cold by the time we left. A true chilling experience.

Our server was outstanding. The food was great. The patio was good although we prefer the inside but under the surcumstances it was very nice. We plan to return as long as you are able to stay open.

The patio is spacious and very nice. The food is always great at Vintana. The servers are friendly and very helpful.

Had a reservation for my parent’s 50th Anniversary. We weren’t sure what to expect with the COVID restrictions. We were seated on an outdoor patio we didn’t know existed there. Candle lit tables, hanging string lights and a view of the city lights. Our service was outstanding (as usual), the food was perfectly prepared and the surprise of live music playing made for a very special evening. Vintana never disappoints!
