Vintage Ratings and Reviews
Our waitress was admittedly new and didn't know anything about the menu. The food was tasty, but the portions were extremely small and they had no kids menu options. When we asked about the portion sizes before our meal, the waitress didn't know. She did point out that since we had to ask for syrup twice that she had forgotten, she didn't charge us for the syrup. (It literally was about 1 tablespoon of syrup too)...so thanks for that!
What a gem! Great service and our brunch was wonderful with beautiful presentation. My husband and I enjoyed the grilled peach and avocado toast starters then the Huckleberry bacon French toast and veggie smashbrown benedict. Everything was exceptional. We will make Vintage a regular for our Vail visits.
They have a great brunch here but this is the second time I've been for dinner & was disappointed. Food is just ok. Didn't get what was ordered on some of the sides. Told them we were celebrating a special occasion & was told they would make note but the didn't acknowledge at all. There are a lot better restaurant options in Vail.
What a gem. Went for Sunday brunch and had the BLT eggs Benedict. Amazing. Loved the presentation and it was so delicious. Also had a spicy tequila cocktail that was wonderful. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the service was superb. Love this spot!
The decor is a bit much and it's too quiet and stuffy for Vail. The entire place needs to relax. We got there 30 minutes early and The hostess acted like she didn't know if we could get in even though there were only a few tables taken and they never filled. Really? The wait staff also needs to be friendlier and less formal. The food was good but the nenu is small and could be more creative. Just not what we look for in a restaurant experience.
The evening got off to a rough start. The server who took our drink order disappeared and I had to ask the hostess to get her back. The hostess graciously took our drink orders and we met a third person who took our dinner orders. Lovely salad split by the kitchen as we requested. And then a fourth server brought us an appetizer we didn't order. For the main course we ordered Waygu sirloin steak medium but it came out medium rare. Not sure I can blame the restaurant for that but we did have to send it back which is something I really don't like to do. The meal was authentic bistro cuisine and the ambience of restaurant terrific. We will definitely return next time we're in town but I will have a conversation with the server to be sure that the steak is cooked to our liking!
The decor and layout were very classy and elegant. The service was spectacular and we were never waiting. The layout was beautiful and the food was full of flavor, especially the vegetables. The selections of healthy options were plentiful, even for our most picky eaters.
Delish, as always! Everything on the menu looks divine and it's hard to make up your mind. Service was very attentive, quick to recommend favorites and specials. It's hard to go wrong here - the bacon huckleberry french toast is sinful - and the creative play on brunch items is appreciated. Take the time to enjoy a long brunch here!
The brunch menu ranges from simple (eggs, bacon and toast) to unusual (BLT Benedict, Waffles and Chicken, for example). The BLT Benedict was excellent - Bacon, Green tomatoes, greens, avocado slices and perfectly poached eggs on a slice of brioche with avocado sauce and a "Smashbrown" (potatoes).
The service was excellent and prompt, with all servers attentive to needs for refills, removal of empty plates, etc.
The noise level on this visit was much higher than on previous visits. The restaurant was full and the combination of loud "background" music, tile floors, tile bar and bare tabletops all contributed to a din of loud conversation and clanking plates and silverware.
Excellent all around. From the time you enter the door every detail is attended to. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive staff serving fresh creatively prepared food in a comfortable pleasant setting. On site parking a plus. In my opinion, the best up scale restaurant in town.
Excellent, relaxing evening for a group of five. We paced meal with enough time between courses to enjoy the last one before the next one arrived.
Waitress was wonderful, and helpful. We ordered wine while we checked out the menu, along with a white for apps and red for dinner. When our apps arrived and we were still working on our wine, there was not issue with not opening the white we had ordered.
I wish the sommelier had told us his name. He was one of the best ones we have dealt with, and we deal with quite a few when we dine out. We know something about wine, but it was a wonderful experience to have him walk us through some options based on what we ordered. He provided clear and concise information without being over-the-top as some sommeliers might be. We all commented on how great he was!
We ordered three different desserts, and each was just the right size, and the perfect end to our meal.
