Food was some good, some not. Service was terrible. After 20 minutes of trying to flag down our waiter, my father asked another server to get the waiter. That server did talk to our waiter and then our waiter promptly continues to ignore us. We had to flag down the maitre de 10 minutes later just to add a couple of drinks. Asked for some extra syrup for some dry French toast and got it 2 minutes before we finished, and with a $1.50 charge. Not a place I would return to.
Great dining experience. The Mussels were Devine as was the Filet!
Last night of our ski vacation and Vintage didn’t disappoint. Everything was great. Delicious food, charming setting and very capable wait staff! Definitely worth a visit.
The best brunch in the valley, if not the world!
My wife ordered the Duck Confit Salad and a second appetizer that was not on the menu. They were both excellent. I ordered the steak frites which was very good. The waiter was attentive and pleasant. The ambiance is authentic to a bistro in Paris. We will return.
Exceptional food and atmosphere. Wish we had found Vintage during previous visits to Vail and Beaver Creek.
Vintage is a restaurant that goes to the top of our list.
The service was friendly and yet very professional. The food was expertly prepared. The wine list was notable at all price points. The ambience was wonderful with beautiful lighting, paintings and music.
We don’t live in the area but visit Vail regularly. This restaurant is now at the top of our list.
Memorable night guys.
Hope to see you again soon
Had such a delightful time at Vintage! Everything start to finish was impeccable. Will definitely return!
Mediocre French food overpriced but nice ambiance. Steak frites at a bistro doesn’t cost $48 in Paris. Glass of Chardonnay shouldn’t cost $25. Escargots sub-par. Trout not appetizing either. Better French food at Left Bank
Everything was delicious. The staff was mostly helpful. Cute little place and typically not as busy as some of the other restaurants in Vail. But very good and would go back for sure. Over the summer we went for breakfast/brunch and it was great. If it weren't for making a mistake on the price of our bottle of wine, it would have been a perfect experience. It was corrected and all was good, it just pays to review the bill.
We are from France and this restaurant is nothing like French food. They just pretend to serve French food. The sauce aux poivres was just infect without forgetting to mention the disrespectful lady at the front desk. The only person that made our night was our waiter. The food is absolutely not recommended. For a $300 bill we did not like anything we ate.
We had a great time. Service was over whelmed. Our waitress did the best she could. Would go again!
I went to Vintage three times this week, so I have a good insight. I am a tough grader. Overall, they do a good job and make a real effort.
Things are too sweet. Salad with chèvre drenched in honey. A pork first course was perfectly cooked, and then drenched in honey / sticky sweet sauce.
Do not call a chicken breast, coq au vin. It is not the same thing. A real coq au vin is much better. Do not call a slightly leathery, fatty chunk of meat in a very sweet glaze, Beef Bourguignon. The whole point of a Beef Bourguignon is to make precisely that sort of piece of meat, tender and falling apart. A real Beef Bourguignon is delicious. If you can’t improve it, make the real thing.
Otherwise all was well.
Beautiful upscale restaurant. Great place to have a very special brunch
Lovely french decor, in a quiet restaurant, with great art on the walls. The manager was on top of everything and recommended a wonderful bottle of wine. The Foie Gras Terrine was big enough for two people. The escargot was delightfully garlicy (as it should be). The the "half a duck" was delicious (ate the leg and took the rest home!). If you want to get away from the loud Vail crowds, this is the place for you.
A new favorite in Vail! I dined with friends, but will definitely go back with my family.
Family gathering for a 30th wedding anniversary
Service by Ron was outstanding!!!
The best trout I have ever experienced... period. Well executed dishes, staff, and ambiance. Five stars.
We had a delicious brunch here our last day at Vail! There was something for everyone, and the presentation was quite pretty. It was a charming and cozy little place.
Great For brunch or lunch. Easy to walk into the village from. Super cute ambience. Fresh food and endless Mimosa offered
Great flavors, great atmosphere for a date, great quick service. Would recommend to friends and family
Good food. My only complaint is that I have celiac disease and am gluten free. They did not have a gluten free starch option. If I ordered a steak, only french fries or au gratin potato. Would be nice to have a few more gluten free options. With that being said, I did not get sick from eating here and there was no cross contamination.
We received wrong entrees
Great restaurant. Entire staff so knowledgeable and accommodating! Lovely art work on the walls
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Vintage! We have never dined here and decided on a whim to try it out while staying in Vail for a quick Valentine's get-a-way. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. I would highly recommend Vintage if you're looking for a romantic dinner.
we ordered an app and main brunch entrees and it took over an hour and a half for our food to come. our waiter was nice, but definitely not too concerned with the situation.
We had a party of six which means a 20% gratuity was automatically added . The menu was full of exciting great dishes to try amongst the group and other our server was it pleasant herself we felt as if she wanted to flip the table fast she wanted our drink order our appetizer and dinner order all at once which we insisted that we were not going to do. We all started off with a cocktail with appetizers and then moved onto our dinners where she forgot to take the wine order . They utilized servers from the kitchen rather than the waitress and as we were sharing plates that caused a commotion because of course they cleared all of our small plates and brought out more food plates and we were out of the small plates to share onto. I will say that all the food items except for the daily special which happened to be wild boar was amazing in taste . The wild boar was so salty we had to send it back of course they credited the bill. We are planning to go back as the other food items were absolutely delicious .
Fantastic French cuisine, great wine selection and perfect ambiance. Cannot go wrong.
This was such a pretty place. I’d go back because it made me feel special. My Coq au Vin was not that good. Ok if you’ve never made it yourself you might not know how good it can be. Vintage needed to add some vintage wine and some brandy into the sauce. The chicken was dry and sad looking. A bad rendition of a traditional recipe. My husband was thrilled with his steak.
We had a great time at this charming place! The menu had plenty of options and the service was excellent. The girls loved the drink menu - very creative and fun - plus the drinks were unique and very tasty. Sex on the slopes is highly recommended;)
After a brief hiccup regarding our table, the staff st Vintage made a good recovery. Ron, our waiter, was amazing. His recommendations were spot on and the evening progressed at a perfect pace. We all loved our food and left in a very happy space. We’ll be back.
Everything was outstanding! The food came out well presented and delicious!
Great brunch, went early on a Sunday (8:45) to no crowd
Family dinner for 6. Nice restaurant but wouldn’t really call this a French Bistro based on our experience. Very expensive and small servings. Escargot served without the shells and could use more garlic and seasoning. Salads are small for the 15 to 20 dollar prices. Beef Bourguignon was not a stew, as expected, more of a deconstructed beef, potato and onion dish, and beef was dry. Plates are loaded with fries and main course is small. Lemon tart was frozen and had to thaw out for 15 minutes before eating. Chocolate mousse serving meager. Bill for the 6 of us with only 4 glasses of wine was over $600. Not happy and wouldn’t recommend.
read reviews of dishes people prefered, some dishes better than others. The staff was wonderful
Vintage is one of my favorite spots in Vail. Whether it's brunch or dinner, the food is always consistently delicious and cocktails are amazing! Not to mention the decor itself is enough reason to go - feels like you're transported to a french brasserie!
We had four dinners in Vail and this is the one that was #4. A few reasons: Escargots could have been much better. Not enough garlic, not a great presentation. Salads were average. Fish in parchment lacked flavor - needs a splash of white wine and fresh herbs. Bottom line - Chef should be a notch better for the prices. Bill came and they charged us for two bottles of wine, not one but fixed it promptly when we pointed it out. Only bright spots: Host was helpful and Wine steward was knowledgable!
It was like I was transported to Paris! The food was Devine, the art amazing
