Second dinner here and the place is still top notch. Staff remembered us. Making us feel like regulars. Just an outstanding place. Food is amazing. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t. I can honestly say this has become our place.

Went to Vintage for our anniversary dinner. The food was absolutely incredible. The server was friendly and paid attention to our every need. Will definitely be back.

Over rated in my opinion. The place was packed so tight and the prices were very high. So many people it was hard to hear those at my table. Even the waiters had a hard time moving without knocking into chairs constantly. Bar had poor beer selection and didn’t use the proper glassware for drinks. Food was average to me. Certainly not worth the hype or the price.

Food was unbelievable. I had the rib steak for two special with a side of shrooms. Best rib steak I've ever eaten. Now this place will cost you but it's really high end steak and some second rate beef!

Vintage never disappoints. This was probable our 4th time there. We went there to celebrate birthday and Valentine's Day combined. We had the tbone steak for two (medium rare). It was delicious. Side of sweet potatoes and mixed mushrooms were excellent. Before the main course we shared clams casino which was excellent.

This was our first time there. Last minute Valentines Day dinner. Pretty much only restaurant to have an open reservation. On the same note, very packed seating. Food, service and staff very good and attentive. Seating a little tight, but we enjoyed the evening despite the shoulder to shoulder. A bit pricey, but worth it. Would recommend.

The food is always great. they seem to have all the standard top line steakhouse fare except for slice beefsteak tomato and (sweet) onion. they made a substitute but not the same.
other than that all was great! it is a bit pricey but great for special occasions.

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends who hadn’t been there for over a year. We decided to go the night before Valentine’s Day — to hopefully get better service and a delicious meal. We were first seated at a table with a direct view of the kitchen door , listening to clanging dishes or whatever, and in a very unimpressive side dining room. We asked to be moved — so we were the stuck in a corner and I looked at my husband and a blank wall.
The waited seemed nice enough and brought bread and water ....and then our drinks.
We shared the Calamari appetizer which they split for us. It was soggy and cold. Then we awaited the steaks. The table was bare .... the atmosphere not pretty.
My steak was as ordered — med rare to rare. I purposed reintegrated that I like it prepares Pittsburgh style and he said he understood....Which means charred outside and rare outside. It was literally cold and looked like it was put o the grill for two minutes and then sat waiting for the waiter to bring to me. My husband likes Porterhouse but since I didn’t want to have to share that — the waited recommended a $65 bone-in steak. It was, as well, not even served on a hot plate — just dropped in front of him. The spinach side was also abundant but cold. We ate— ordered espresso — and went home.

As soon as we got in the car my husband commented that he was shocked that I didn’t return my food since I really enjoy my dinner when it is “hot”. I told him I thought it was Valentines Day so I should not be fussy. He was hoping I’d complain so they’d take his back also!

There are other steakhouses that are attentive, serve on a sizzling plate with the steaks juicy and care about getting the food out when cooked immediately — we will go to those instead. We traveled 30 minutes for this special dinner and it was not special at all. I gave it 3 stars because the meat did appear to be top quality. Too bad the chef and waiter were not taking pride in what they serve.

This is the second year in a row I surprised my husband with dinner at Vintage. The food was once again amazingly delicious! Service by Juan and being seated by the owner, was professional. A drink served to my husband as we sat down and having a table that was intimate was perfect. I love this restaurant and recommend it to everyone!

Vintage is THE best restaurant if you are in the mood for steak. It is incredible! A bit pricey but certainly worth it. Highly recommend!!

Without question an absolute gem. Food was outstanding. Matched only by the service we received. I was recommended an appetizer that wasn’t on the menu. When I asked, they were more than happy to make it for us. Once we realized how late it was, my date and began searching for a place to get desert. The waiter overheard us and told us not to worry. Please stay for desert. They stayed open nearly an hour for us. We definitely showed our appreciation with a 50% gratuity. Well worth it. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for not only an amazing steak but for outstanding welcoming service.

Food was excellent. The scallops appetizer was incredible, which our waiter, Bobby, recommended. We called him over after enjoying it and he explained how the owner will send the scallops back if they don’t meet their quality standards. Steaks were cooked perfectly and everything, including sides, had great flavor. Bobby and the rest of the service staff was very attentive and polite. Without going into detail, Bobby tended to “little things” which made our experience better all-around. Our first time here and we will be going back.

We had always heard that Vintage was a really great place to go for steak. We finally went last Friday night and were very disappointed. The front dining room we sat in was really lacking in style or ambiance both in decor, lighting and the overall feel of the room. The service was not first class or in keeping with the prices they charge. The 125$ steak we ordered for two was just ok as were the two side dishes. The skin of my baked potato was so hard i could not eat it. My guess was that it had been pre cooked and reheated. The dessert was also disappointing. So, over 200$ later for two people and all i could say when i left was, we will not be back.

#1 Table was cramped in the corner on a Saturday night. #2 Can not stand when waiters or waitresses bring you the check when you dont ask for it. Been here a couple of times but wont be back. Better steak places on the island.

Vintage is expensive and elegant. Their specialty, Porterhouse Steak for Two is excellent.

Everything is a la carte. If you value very good food, and a quiet and pleasant adult atmosphere, and don't mind the high prices, you will enjoy Vintage Prime Steak House in Saint James, NY.

We took my father-in-law to celebrate his 91st birthday. We are still talking about how wonderful our celebration was! The staff was very attentive to our needs. The food was Delicious!!!! My mother-in-laws shrimp scampi over artichoke risotto was to die for. They gave the birthday boy his dessert on the house. So so nice. We will definitely be going back. The porterhouse for 2 was enough for 3 of us to share. Potatoes and spinach and broccoli were also perfectly prepared!

We were a party of 4 for New Year's Eve. The staff managed everything & everyone very well. They even allowed us to linger for awhile at the table after paying our bill ( this really surprised us on such a busy night & was much appreciated ).

The only place I️ will eat steak! The steaks and side dishes here are always fantastic. The service is as well. Warm and inviting ambiance. Whenever anyone asks about a steakhouse, this is the only place we recommend!

Filet mignon was not as tender or tasty as it should be .
Filet at Chachamas much better.
Waiter spilled glass of water on pants of diner.
For what we had prices were way above the value.
