American
Vintage, located in New Market, offers elevated American comfort food in a chic historic restaurant. Executive Chef Stephanie Wilson combines serious culinary chops with seasonal, local ingredients to elevate classic southern-inspired American comfort food. The resulting dishes are delicious, familiar, and more-than-a-little-bit-addictive.

Our restaurant has truly historic bones; our building has had various incarnations as a general store, hotel, and the much beloved Mealey's, and was once a mainstay on the National Pike - the conduit for the original American migration West. Now, our GM Lindsey Hamilton delivers warm hospitality in a casual, chic space that we know you'll love as much as we do. You’ll also surely quench your thirst with a carefully curated wine list, one of our 'Vintage' cocktails, or a pour from one of our 20 taps of glorious craft beer and house-kegged cocktails.

Everything was fantastic. Even a a night where the service was a tad slow (very busy evening) the staff was wonderful. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced.

Slightly long wait for our food. I assume because it was Mother’s Day so no complaints here. I love this place

Mother's Day- Buffet was empty EVERY time we went up there. We had to wait quite a while by that time our food arrived. It was cold- but very good. The server was attentive but I will not return on a day where the menu is special or a buffet is present. Wasn't worth the money spent for what was offered... which clearly they weren't prepared for that many people because it wasn't kept stocked.

Checked out this restaurant on the way back from BWI airport to Frederick. Vintage was worth visiting. The appetizers were tasty and filling. Salads were sumptuous. Entrees were portioned large. We had no room for dessert. One of the entree was a little too salty and we received a discount.

Always good food. But the trashy lady dropping racial slurs and talking about her vibrator while children were nearby, should have been escorted out

Our waiter was not aware of how and when to ask a question...not aware of how to enter into a conversation. When we asked for the check we were not done with our appetizer and he removed it??? Asking for a check does not mean we were done eating. He didn't ask if we were done nor have interest in our questions and that is why we did not stay for dinner.

We had a wonderful brunch experience, sharing Shrimp and Grits (YUM) and the Brisket Hash (MMM) - both wonderful choices. More than enough and leftovers that could have been taken home. Very tasty and the wait staff were attentive but not hovering. I love all my visits to Vintage!

A wonderful lunch catching up with a friend. As always the food was fabulous! I wish I knew what was in their lemon vinaigrette because I could eat that everyday! Start with the cheese and crackers. They’re just perfect.

Menu at restaurant did not match what was on Open Table link so we were disappointed. Fries were limp/soggy but sticky licky chicken was good.

I have been to Vintage several times this year and the service is always great. I really enjoy the decor and feeling of the building itself. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The food is fantastic and so are the drinks. I like that the menu changes from time to time which just means more delicious food to try! Definitely on my favorites list. The fries are so good! Brussels sprouts never tasted better. The chicken wings are a hit and are perfect for sharing. I definitely recommend this place if you've never been.

Our reservation for 7 people was for 6:30 pm on a Thursday evening. We were promptly greeted by our waiter and served our drinks and our appetizer came out quickly. The issue for our party, is that from the time we ordered our dinner, it took an entire hour, for the entrees to be delivered to our table. The food was delicious ! I was thankful that the food was really good. An entire hour is not what we expected to wait.

The food at Vintage was delicious both times we've been for brunch. The first time I had the sausage gravy and biscuits and the second I had the brisket hash. I would happily get either again but there is a special place in my heart for that brisket hash!! Also, the Oatmeal cookie cocktail was so yummy (it tastes more like a snickerdoodle than an oatmeal cookie but tasty either way). My husband had the chicken wrap and thought it was good. Friends had the cheeseburger and the sausage dippers both were very happy. The atmosphere is charming and quaint. It is great for friends to get together for brunch and I imagine it would be just as good for an intimate dinner. We will definitely return. You should give it a try.

We have been to vintage many times so this specific review was for this occasion specifically all other encounters have been wonderful! We took our best friend out for a special birthday brunch and the service was terrible the waiter came by to take our order and drop the bill that was it. He didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or additional drinks or if the food was good or anything. He didn’t bring the food out a busser did who also was nice enough to get us additional drinks. It wasn’t crowded either he just seemed like he didn’t want to be there. This was really disappointing because this was supposed to be for a special occasion and I’d indicated this in the reservations. The whole meal fell flat and I think this had a lot to do with it. It wasn’t a bad meal but it certainly wasn’t what we’d experienced in the past here. I’m not saying I won’t be back because we have had wonderful meals here but it will certainly be a awhile before we give it another chance!!

This was my second visit to Vintage and I enjoyed my first visit so much that I looked forward to introducing my husband to the restaurant. The food was as good as before but the ambience left something to be desired. We were seated in what appeared to be a family area next to two very noisy tables, although the restaurant wasn't full.

Great spot. Good food. Had an off night tonight due to some kitchen issue so our food was not as good or as prompt to come out as in the past. Waitress did what she could. Stick with the salmon, brisket, shrimp and grits, or chicken and waffles. Wouldn’t bother with the cut of the day. Disappointing.

Food was very good with plenty of carnivore and vegetarian options. It is a noisy atmosphere since we were seated in the center of the dining area. The cocktail sampler is a great concept. The crispy onion rings were very good and the vegetarian burger was far better than other restaurant veggie burgers.

Wonderful meal and service! The roast chicken was perfectly cooked and the Brussels sprouts roasted to perfection. My partner had the trout, which was moist and the spaghetti squash was done in a wonderful sauce. Very friendly staff and quiet on a week night.
