Our restaurant has truly historic bones; our building has had various incarnations as a general store, hotel, and the much beloved Mealey's, and was once a mainstay on the National Pike - the conduit for the original American migration West. Now, our GM Lindsey Hamilton delivers warm hospitality in a casual, chic space that we know you'll love as much as we do. You’ll also surely quench your thirst with a carefully curated wine list, one of our 'Vintage' cocktails, or a pour from one of our 20 taps of glorious craft beer and house-kegged cocktails.
Always amazing service and food. Great atmosphere and nice people.
The food was good. We had the Cheese and Crackers as an appetizer then the Watermelon Gazpacho as a first course. For mains, I had the Shrimp & Grits and my wife had the Trout.
The good but slightly salty food was overshadowed by the poor service, probably from the kitchen, although I don't know for sure.
The Watermelon Gazpacho came out first. It was served with a cottage cheese-type crab garnish. I did not like the fishiness of the crab with the watermelon.
Then came the Cheese and Crackers with cocktails that we'd ordered some time ago.
Immediately after that, the mains were served. We had no time to order wine with our meal as is our usual practice.
There was a point when everything was on the table at once.
I mentioned all this to our server, who was also the bartender. He could not have cared less. He said that the kitchen was probably bored with not much to do so just did everything quickly. This is NOT how you make a guest happy.
As a final insult, the water carafe at the table was caked with mineral deposits as if someone said, "You don't need to wash them because they just hold water." WRONG.
We skipped dessert. I know we won't be back.
Trout was excellent as was the blueberry cheesecake and homemade ice cream. Vintage is now a "go to" for me.
Love to go to Vintage. The food is always good and Tuesday BOGO in August is a great deal. They have a wonderful beer selection and new ones to try all the time. The drinks are unusual and tasty. The service Tuesday was a little slow but we were with friends so didn't mind waiting!
The food was good but everything was sweet.
Vintage is always a great date night choice.
This is always our lunch go to. Came for dinner and wished We had gone somewhere else. It just wasn’t good. Very salty. Will try again for lunch but definitely not for dinner.
Excellent, imaginative dishes (smoked fried pickles - what's not to like?). Kitchen was a bit slow but our server, Justin was great and very attentive. We'll definitely go again.
Attentive server, great food, nice ambiance. We had a lovely dinner and time to linger over coffee after without feeling rushed.
Vintage was an excellent spot for a special birthday dinner. My group of 6 was seated in a private room and treated to excellent service. The food was delicious!
Ambiance is very good, a bit eclectic but pleasant. Bar and wait staff were great, friendly, professional, helpful. Food was ok, but not great, which was a disappointment after reading previous reviews. Fried food (Green tomatoes, onion rings) were average at best, and a bit greasy. Pulled pork and tenderloin was fine but not great. Flank steak was fine but not great. Recommend the chef and kitchen personnel rethink their approach to the food.
The food was excellent! It was flavorful and left you wanting to return. The service was amazing. Everyone was friendly and made you feel welcome. Will definitely return!
This was our first time and we loved it! The service was amazing and the food was incredible. The kids’ menu was a great value both kids ate (which doesn’t often happen with picky eaters). The price was appropriate for the food; the portions were enough and cooked perfectly. We can’t wait to go back!
Excellent food as always. A little loud this time, but fun overall. I love this place.
We sat at the bar- food and drinks were, as ever, fantastic.
Excellent food and quaint setting with good prices. We started with the fried pickles which were deliciously crunchy and the hush puppies with honey butter which are always delicious. I had the brisket sandwich and my husband had the wings. They were both excellent. We live in Frederick which has a variety of excellent restaurants but we drive out to new market because the food is so good at vintage And the prices are really reasonable. Kudos to the chef, they really know what they are doing!
My neighbor invited me to lunch on Friday (7/19/2019). Being new to the area, I never heard of The Vintage. I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich and it was sooo good. The ambiance, service, and prices were great. This is definitely a hidden gem. I will return for sure!
Food and service were very good. It was too noisy in the lounge for a couples dinner
Tried happy hour snacks. Wings were good and so was the pickle jar. Nachos were weak. Service was rough and it was freezing.
Interesting menu. Friendly, engaging staff. Terrific food. Definitely going back!
Everything was fantastic, food was outstanding. Would recommend to everyone.
Great food and service. Great first time dining, will be back.
Vintage is a wonderful dining experience, service always friendly , the food is amazing, the drinks first rate ( the use of fresh herbs and different combinations always great) -we always enjoy our time at Vintage. Chef Stephanie creates delicious entrees.
We love Vintage. We have been there many times, never had a bad experience. I especially like it because they have gluten friendly options. Service is always outstanding and the food is even better! We go about once a month.
The fried green tomatoes were delicious but My vegetarian burger was not good at all, in fact in might have been the strangest thing I ever tasted. When I brought it to the attention of the server his response, “sorry”.
It took one hour to get our food, last time we eat there or was even longer.
It was awful! We sat down at 6:45. We didn’t see a waiter until 7:00; our food arrived at 10 after 8! It was a totally horrible evening. Food is good if it arrives in time! Never again!!!!!
Service was extremely slow. Our food took a long time and it seemed like our server forgot our drink and dessert orders several times.
We will absolutely be returning!
From the hostess greeting us (very polite), to the server (who was very attentive to my 4 year old grandson), to the excellent food - Vintage never disappoints us when we visit. My 'dippers' were delicious and the grandson finished all of his pancakes (which was an adult portion!) Although child friendly, it's not for active children. We have made it a practice to bring our grandson to 'special' restaurants, so he was very well behaved and really enjoyed the treat.
Great Sunday brunch spot for our little family! Food selection was great (and tasty). Service was the best!
This place has great ambience with very trendy rustic decoration. We went there for a special occasion so it is definitely a great place for taking friends out to. The food was decent and looks elegant. We had the special daily flat bread with some onions and cheese on top which was very over priced. I had the trout with shaved vegetables and it was fresh but lacked some seasoning. Overall the food is overpriced for what you get but the place is very trendy with a unique ambience.
Amazing experience! The staff, ambiance and the food was incredible!
My husband and I love Vintage! We would love to go more often, but live about 40mins away. SO worth the drive. The food is always on point!
Cute place; great menu. Our food was very good. We will go back.
Joe was a great waiter -- and we all enjoyed our food! We'll be back soon!
The food was very good. The appetizers came quickly but the entrees came out much later which was a bummer. Overall very good though.
We had an amazing meal at Vintage. You must try the red hot brussels appetizer--amazing, we also had the rice krispy onion rings which were great! I had the bbq beef brisket which was on mashed potatoes and spinach and it was fantastic! Highly recommend!
Food was delicious and service by Justin was excellent!
