Vintage, located in New Market, offers elevated American comfort food in a chic historic restaurant. Executive Chef Stephanie Wilson combines serious culinary chops with seasonal, local ingredients to elevate classic southern-inspired American comfort food. The resulting dishes are delicious, familiar, and more-than-a-little-bit-addictive.

Our restaurant has truly historic bones; our building has had various incarnations as a general store, hotel, and the much beloved Mealey's, and was once a mainstay on the National Pike - the conduit for the original American migration West. Now, our GM Lindsey Hamilton delivers warm hospitality in a casual, chic space that we know you'll love as much as we do. You’ll also surely quench your thirst with a carefully curated wine list, one of our 'Vintage' cocktails, or a pour from one of our 20 taps of glorious craft beer and house-kegged cocktails.

We love a celebration! Vintage is an ideal spot to host a party from cocktail receptions to sit down dinners. We can customize a variety of menus and set ups to accommodate your needs.
Our private dining room on the second floor provides an intimate setting that is perfect for work functions, rehearsal dinners, wine tastings, lunches or themed events for up to 45 guests.
The Market Room can accommodate smaller parties up to 15 in our market style room with purchasable items from our local vendors such as wines, apiary products and more. It's a perfect place for a beer or wine paired meal, chef demonstration or informal gathering.

The food was delicious and creative as always. Our daughter is a huge fan of the deviled eggs. Big plus that the kids love the food too! The addition of Dan McGuire’s acoustical magic is really awesome. We have come twice while he was performing and it was great.

We loved the place the first time we went. It replaced the previous restaurant (Mealey’s) in the same space, and it has a very attractive interior. The second time we dined there was for a birthday. We were surprised there was live entertainment. Unfortunately, it was too loud for conversation at the table. The solo musician could easily have remained un-mic’d and it would have been appropriate for a restaurant. The restaurant was not filled with customers but the service was slow. The hush puppies, normally excellent, were dry and room temperature. The Rice Krispy Onion Rings were cold. Only the chicken and waffles were good.
This place could be great and a welcome additional restaurant in the New Market-Frederick area, but until it becomes consistent, I’m reluctant to recommend it.

My husband and I went on a spontaneous date night here, our first time to Vintage. I have already recommended this restaurant to many friends since just the two days we went. The food was fantastic, beautifully presented, the service was outstanding (our waiter was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations), and the atmosphere was just right. The cocktail flights were fabulous!

Excellent spot for a date night! My husband and I were extremely impressed with the ambiance, service, and the food. Everything we ordered was delicious and creative (I highly recommend the Farmer's Risotto and Golden Smoke Bird). We will definitely add this to our list of frequented dining spots!

Our waitress was very sweet and nice, BUT very inexperienced/confused. Simple lunch order took 2 hours to be served. Some of blame was put on the kitchen?? Nice Manager, Lindsey, came to apologize/salvage things twice without even a complaint from us. She offered bill reduction. We left them a good tip as we thought that even though the service was terrible both waitress and manager were very pleasant people. Husband enjoyed his burger. I am not into "comfort" food, so very hard to find something on menu for me. Our guest enjoyed the delay in service as she was not in a hurry and was amused by the entire event and charming waitress.

Lunch on Friday at Vintage was simply lovely. The hardest part was deciding what to get because lots of options looked so interesting on the menu. The appetizers, salads, sandwiches and drinks were all enjoyed and we'll have to come more often to try others before anything on menu changes.

This is a place that just "fits" a good ending to a long summer's drive, after meandering the country roads, stopping by a few farm stands, and looking for that "just right" piece for the family room. In a "from farm to table" setting we shared among the four of us several delicious items. I was very happy with the menu; just enough on it for a good selection and no more than a good cook / chef can prepare and present well. I'm the fan of good grits and well-done risotto and was not disappointed. Everyones meat dishes had a good flavor and presented well. I had a vegetarian dish that I enjoyed

One of our favorite places and try to get there often. Sat at the bar so we could watch US Open golf coverage and Erin took great care of us. Food was and Is always great.

Hushpuppies are unreal. Chicken and waffles and farmers pig were excellent, plenty of leftovers. Inventive cocktails, service a little rushed, order your main course after you finish first course or your first cocktail.

One of our very favorite. GM Lindsey always seems to have restaurant well staffed and staff well trained. Lilliana our server has been there longer than her young age would indicate and she was great. Food is always great! Good local craft beers on tap and many drink options.

A quiet Sunday evening with prompt and pleasant service, fresh and delicious food, and creative cocktails. We enjoyed the Smoke Bird, Catfish, Beef Brisket, Harvest Caesar, Hushpuppies and Deviled Eggs.

Vintage was disappointing. The hostess lacked energy and wanted to seat our party of three (including a tall, elderly gentleman with a cane) at a small cramped table jammed in between two other parties. She seemed annoyed when we asked for another choice. The server should have indicated that the cole slaw isn't a side, but usually just a sandwich topping. Food took a
L O N G time to come out and the restaurant wasn't full. My beet salad with salmon was good, but it was served on a plate the size of a saucer so was not visually appealing and hard to eat without food falling off the plate. I didn't mind the 3% add on for the labor of love (bennies for the staff), but that should have been noted somewhere on the menu so you knew about it before the bill came to the table.

The waitress was attentive throughout the night. The service lacked due to it being Mother's day. The kitchen continued to run out of food which was surprising and a turn off from coming back.

Love going to Vintage, amazing atmosphere, menu changes seasonally, locally sourced foods, "elevated comfort food" is accurate. Many beers on tap, would like to see more session IPA selections.

The food was good but we had to wait over 45 minutes for our food. There were quite a few empty tables so we weren’t sure what the hold up was. Our waiter was very nice and checked in with us frequently. There was a 3% “Labor of Love” charge on the bill that seemed weird. Vintage can’t afford to pay their staff a living wage? We were there because Vintage was giving 20% to our church’s Backpack for Kids program. Not sure we will go back.

We have been eating at Vintage since they opened, and have been able to follow the genius of their chef as she cycles through the seasons, varying the menu with locally sourced ingredients. We have always had excellent meals, well prepared and plentiful. Vintage has become our local "go to" place, even though it is a much longer drive out to New Market than down town. Vintage food, prices, creativity, friendly and well-trained wait staff make it worth the drive every single time. I'd add that they are very engaged in the local community and are great neighbors!

Our first time at Vintage ! The decor is beautiful and warm. We had reservations at 10am for Sunday brunch and they opened at 10am, but they didn’t seemed ready , the hostess and the waitress were welcoming . There was no music so we can hear each others conversations at first about 30 minutes later they turn on the music. The waitress made sure to tell us about the soup and veggies of the day but didn’t ask if it was our first time there or if we had any questions about the menu. I loved that they had a lot of vegetarian options , all the food came out hot and taste delicious and fresh. We definitely enjoyed our food and time there with the family. The coffee was so good and hot . We would definitely go there again and tell our friends about it.

Everything was fresh and tasty! The chef has put together some beautiful combinations that may seem unusual when reading the menu but come alive once they hit your taste buds. Those who remember the décor when the establishment was known as Mealey's, will be pleased with the transition....very sophisticated with a nod to the past. But, not so stuffy that one would feel underdressed in casual attire. Be sure to put the Hushpuppies on your appetizer order, and don't be shy about mopping up all that scallion butter-honey...de-lish!

Third time we’ve been here and always pleased. The restaurant wasn’t full that night, unlike both other times.

Service was good and the server was polite, professional and prompt. For some reason, dinner took a while to make it to the table. This was not an issue during previous visits. Maybe they had a smaller kitchen staff as dinner service wasn’t too busy.

The food was very good - as usual - although the onion rings I was served were kinda cold (although promptly replaced) and a couple of the panini sandwiches at our table looked a little on the skimpy side (much to my surprise).

We will certainly be back. I like this place.

The pickle jar was great! Everything else was just OK. Among our group of five, we ordered the pickle jar to share - yum! / southern fried chicken sandwiches - both were over fried and dry / brisket - she loved the potato salad it came with / beet salad - I had this and it was unremarkable / caesar salad - looked ok / deviled eggs - hard to justify ordering these since they're so easy to make at home / brownie pretzel dessert - this was served cold, it should have been warm.

It's a cute spot, but entirely cleared out by 1030P. There's ample street parking, but not around much else from a commercial standpoint in the New Market area. It was nice to try it out, but probably won't go back.
