We love a celebration! Vintage is an ideal spot to host a party from cocktail receptions to sit down dinners. We can customize a variety of menus and set ups to accommodate your needs.
Our private dining room on the second floor provides an intimate setting that is perfect for work functions, rehearsal dinners, wine tastings, lunches or themed events for up to 45 guests.
The Market Room can accommodate smaller parties up to 15 in our market style room with purchasable items from our local vendors such as wines, apiary products and more. It's a perfect place for a beer or wine paired meal, chef demonstration or informal gathering.

Smoked fried pickles were great. Most of our order was excellent; a couple of misses in places. Ambience is good. Quaint locale in New Market. Would go back.

Our visit (which was the first time) was for a 21st birthday celebration. It was an exceptional experience from the time we arrived until the time we departed. The food, the drinks..there are no words to honestly describe the level of superb. A special shout out to "Carol Ann" who was our server that heightened the atmosphere with her friendly, outgoing personality giving way to her knowledge of the inception of Vintage to the menu fare. This restaurant is a 5-star PLUS and worthy of multiple return visits.

We had a reservation for five people but three more asked to join us at the last moment. The restaurant did a good job of sitting our entire party of eight. Our only complaint was that it took a long time for the food to come out, even though the restaurant was not particularly crowded, and we were rushed to eat it because we had another appointment.

One of our favorites and the changes to some of the dishes and menu have been perfectly executed. The historic character of New Market frames this gem of a restaurant perfectly. We have been going to Vintage since it opened and it has become one of our ‘go to’ places and we have never been disappointed.

Our service was wonderful! We really enjoyed our server. The pickled veggies in the mason jar were amazing! And the porter was so good, we all had at least one. The music was a littttle loud, but we were pretty much in the room by ourselves so it would have sounded louder to us. My black bean burger was falling apart, maybe add some more egg/binder? And deviled eggs were just "ok". Smoked wings and peachy chickie wrap were amazing! Farmers bounty really good too, you can really taste the vanilla! But I'm being overly critical for the sake of honesty to give a good review. Love the atmosphere, ambiance with low lighting, and just such a cute nice place! Food was really good too. Thank you so much for having us!

I made reservations for 14 for a special occasion. I was delighted to find that we were given a table in a private room. The food and drinks were wonderful, as was the service. Vintage has become one of our favorite restaurants!

We loved the food, but the noise level was extremely high --- we could hardly carry-on a conversation without yelling at each other. We think the real concern is your handicap access into the restaurant. We found one (1) Handicap parking space in the rear of the building--marked on the pavement, but no signage. The space was approximately 60 feet from the building. The pavement was very rough especially using a walker. I then had to choices -- walk the steps OR use an extended ramp which would have added at least another 40 feet on to my journey. I used the steps with the help of my wife. Then there was another 20-25 foot deck to the restaurant entrance. Everything was "ramped" in the restaurant, but by that time my leg was killing me and I could hardly wait to sit down. Then after dinner, I had to exit the building and walk the more than 100 feet back to my car in a totally dark parking lot.
It seems that your building is not very friendly the non-ambulatory people. There should be more ADA parking spaces that are well-designated and place MUCH closer to the building. Perhaps a few spaces on Main Street in front of your building.
In its present state (which includes difficult access for handicap individuals to your restaurant), I could never recommend your restaurant to a person who demonstrates a difficulty with walking.

Vintage has been hit or miss for us. Some visits the food is amazing, others times it falls flat. Today our lunch was underwhelming. Service was fantastic though.

We are from California and new to Maryland and have settled in Carroll County. My wife and 11 year old daughter wanted to venture outside of the Carroll curtain and we stumbled into Vintage. The title was very fitting as it seemed like a converted cottage home that had the olfactory of Vintage. We were quickly seated as we had reservations and arrived 24 minutes early. Our greeter came to the table instantly and poured tap water from chilled carafe bottles into rock glasses. I ordered a $10 flight which very tasty and didn't hold back on the ETOH. My wife ordered an unsweetened ice tea that arrived in minutes after ordering. My 11 year stuck with water because she was smart as it was on the table. My flight drinks of 4 came within 15 minutes of ordering. Upon receiving the drinks we placed an appetizer order and main entrees at the same time. No bread offering, but that was ok. Lots of gnats flying around that decided to land in all beverages. Make sure you bring a tissue to cover them.
The apps finally came after 2 apologies by our waitress. The timing was 1 hour. The apps were ok in taste and flavor but didn't wow me. 12 minutes after our apps arrived, our main entrees arrived only being half way through. Oh well. My wife ordered a Well Done burger and stressed the Well. Her burger came out Medium Rare after cutting through it. We were only able to talk to our waitress after 10 minutes f the arrival so my wife continued with the apps. After the waitress was made aware and took her plate, she said oh " you did order Well Done - that's not Well Done" - no sorry or apology. I asked if my wife's fries could come out when she got her new burger, since they never came. Well, the waitress brings out fries and said I didn't want you to be hungry to my wife. My wife completes the small portion of fries and then her burger arrives as we have all completed our meals. She cut through the burger and it was acceptable. Our waitress apologized and said its never like this

Second time was not a charm. Kitchen got behind dealing with a banquet. Waiter gave us bad info on the soup of the day. Food came out slow and no too warm. They sat us in the bar - never again - and the noise level was stupid. Having said all that, the manager stepped up and did a great job explaining the issues and gave us some free gift cards and free dessert. I think it was just a bad evening. Our first experience, during lunch, was much better. We will give it one more chance.

The space is extremely open, and without textiles (tile floors, wood tables and chairs) to buffer, it was way too loud to enjoy for dining. And the floor was not well planned or well cleaned; the tile was so slick one of our tables almost slid out from under us, and my chair slipped on the floor so much it was frightening. I was afraid to move. Two meals served for our table of 4 were very good, the Farmer's Pig and Risotto. The other two diners had the Cheese and 'Mato Sammie, and they were average at best. The cheese made the fried green tomato soggy and leaden. We added bacon, and got one slice each, and it really didn't add anything. Our server was okay, but our dinner order did not hit the kitchen, so we sat for almost an hour with no food and no explanation. The matter was finally explained, by the manager, perhaps, (she did not introduce herself) and they did comp us our appetizer flatbread, which was nice, but then our bills were messed up, and the server too new or too confused to help us. We decided to take the bill as it was, but that was one strike too many and I would be hard put to return.

First Timers....We loved everything! The decor was done very well......Service friendly and professional.......The biscuit and gravy, fried egg with fried rice, and the BLT all very tasty.

We have been to Vintage many times and always have been happy with the service, food and atmosphere. However, we noticed a “Labor of Love” charged to our bill, which was 3% of the total bill. The receipt gave an explanation of what this “Labor of Love” charge was for “providing fair benefits to our employees”. Dear Vintage, you should be doing that anyway ! Not up charging your customers more on top of a 20% tip. No, we will not support this and we will not be back to Vintage. I’m sorry the waitress was tipped less than we normally do because of the 3% additional charge.

The food at vintage was excellent. A rare find outside of a big city. The menu featured elevated comfortable food cooked impeccably. Reservations were not difficult to get and the ambiance was good. The only thing I think they could improve is the speed of service. I will definitely return, even if the service remains slow because the food is so good.

I have been to Vintage twice the past year and was very excited to return. Each experience was amazing prior to this most recent experience. The food was over priced and not fresh. Poor presentation. My partner's sandwich was cold and full of fatty pieces of meat. My salad was lack luster and cost $24 for iceberg lettuce with a small piece of overcooked/thin salmon on top. I am so sad because I have been raving about this place previously and it was always on my mind as a place for a special treat. We don't splurge much by going out to dinner and we decided to celebrate and spend a decent amount on food for ourselves, believing that it would be worth it. I am sad to report that I doubt I will be returning, yet alone raving or recommending.

My husband had the salmon and I had the New York Strip special. Both meals were excellent. Drinks and desserts were equally good and the service was great. We will definitely eat here again.

Everything was a waiting game. We walked in. Was not greeted by anyone because no one was at the hostess stand. So we stood there for about 10 mins before she showed up and she acted kinda annoyed we were there. No smile, no how may I help you. Finally got to our table and took over 5 mins before we were approached for our drink order. Our waitress was very sweet and nice. Everything was very slow. We sat waiting for our check once we were done eating for over 15 mins. It truly was a hurry up and wait kind of night.

Great venue and theme! We sat at the bar & our bartender was very attentive & helpful. As first timers, we had a lot of questions & she answered them all with patience. I got the black bean burger & never been so satisfied. I wish I lived closer because I would definitely be there weekly!

The food was delicious and creative as always. Our daughter is a huge fan of the deviled eggs. Big plus that the kids love the food too! The addition of Dan McGuire’s acoustical magic is really awesome. We have come twice while he was performing and it was great.

We loved the place the first time we went. It replaced the previous restaurant (Mealey’s) in the same space, and it has a very attractive interior. The second time we dined there was for a birthday. We were surprised there was live entertainment. Unfortunately, it was too loud for conversation at the table. The solo musician could easily have remained un-mic’d and it would have been appropriate for a restaurant. The restaurant was not filled with customers but the service was slow. The hush puppies, normally excellent, were dry and room temperature. The Rice Krispy Onion Rings were cold. Only the chicken and waffles were good.
This place could be great and a welcome additional restaurant in the New Market-Frederick area, but until it becomes consistent, I’m reluctant to recommend it.

My husband and I went on a spontaneous date night here, our first time to Vintage. I have already recommended this restaurant to many friends since just the two days we went. The food was fantastic, beautifully presented, the service was outstanding (our waiter was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations), and the atmosphere was just right. The cocktail flights were fabulous!
