Vintage Bar and Grill is a dressy American restaurant with a classy atmosphere. Come with a partner and start out with Peking duck tacos or grilled octopus. Move on to a grilled pear salad or the Angry Spaghetti pasta dish served with lump blue crab. Vintage offers several savory entrées, such as the soy lacquered organic salmon with stir-fry vegetables, lamb porterhouse chops or the filet mignon medallions that are gorgonzola crusted with a port wine reduction. The extensive wine list features wines from all around the world that will pair nicely with your dinner. Handmade cocktails are also available for before or after dinner.
Finish the memorable dinner at Vintage with one of the delicious desserts such as the chocolate peanut butter tart, graham cracker crusted cheesecake topped with raspberry sauce and whipped cream or the hot white Russian served with Stoli vanilla, Kahlua and cappuccino.
The service was terrible. When we finally got seated after waiting at the bar and got menus nobody came to take our order until we waived somebody down.
The cowboy rib eye were not worth the price as it was tough and chewy and if this is supposed to be a steak house the quality of the meat was subpar.
The noise level was deafening. Most of the desserts were no longer available. Why bother giving us the dessert menu at all. They put together 2 dessert plates for us to share which I feel they should have been gratis.
When we were leaving we were told it was their last night as the place has been sold and will reopen as another restaurant.
Amazing food, great service and atmosphere. Delicious!
Guess I'm missing the appeal of this place; second visit in a year. Same sort of musty smell when you first walk in. But what really hits you is the absolutely outrageous noise level. Really should invest in some some dampening material on the low ceiling. Couldn't here my wife speak, nor barely the wait staff. Food was just ok. No better than Fanatico near by, but twice the price. I'm sorry, as I really wanted to like this local place. Sort of cool decor, but certainly cannot make up for the noise. Also, at a price point of this restaurant it needs a matre'd, not just a young lady looking to see what tables are full or empty. Missed several marks!
I had made a last minute reservation to Vintage on Sunday evening for my birthday. We have passed Vintage so many times driving, and have never actually been inside. The ambiance was cozy, warm, and intimate. My reservation was with my family, and we had a lovely time. Our waiter, I forget his name, went above and beyond. He made us feel so welcome, and was so attentive the entire time. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but I'm assuming it was because it was 9PM on a Sunday. The food was excellent, and cooked perfectly. The music was wonderful and the overall feel was nostalgic. The only complaint was that we sat by a window in the main dining room on the left. There was no light above us to read the menu! The two nearby sconces were not enough lighting so we had to use our phones as flashlights! Other than that it was great! This place is perfect for families, a date night, or even a night out with friends.
I had fish, it was good, but not great considering it was $32. The guys who had French onion soup and steak thought the food was very good.
Restaurant was eligantly decorated and atmsophere nice. Food was superb, however it was pricey. The restaurant was not full on a Saturday night and this might be due to high cost. Waiter advised that it was not busy during the week.
Everything was delicious!!! Couldn't ask for better. Only issue was they made an error and overcharged on drinks, but they promptly corrected error when we told them. Otherwise perfection. Staff is so nice and welcoming, always want to come back.
I have nothing bad to say. The dishes were great! I had a chicken dish and the others had a Filet Mignon and a Rib Eye. Everyone loved what they had. I would come back and highly recommend.
Great food and outstanding service as always. Still one of the best values on Long Island
Vintage is an excellent place for any kind of meal. The food is creative and tasty, but not ridiculously expensive. My wife and I shared three "course". First, the burrata, which was delicious. It came with tomato, arugula and ham, with a balsamic vinegar dressing that was wonderfully sweet. Second, we split the angry spaghetti, which comes with lump crab meat and has a great spicy kick. Finally, we had their special steak, which was cooked to perfection and sliced for us. A great touch of garlic was added which enhanced the taste. It was delivered sizzling hot and covered with lightly fried onion strips. Just a great meal.
