The food was great the service could’ve been much better
Had a reservation and took about 15 minutes to seat us. Sat down and took an additional 15 minutes minutes to take our order. Extremely loud inside. Food is good but service is not.
The food was so good and the service was great. However, a large party was seated in the middle of the dining room and the entire restaurant became extremely loud. Our table had to shout in order to speak to each other.
Food was good and the atmosphere is fun. The place was empty though
It was a nice place to try, but definitely won't be going back. The food was decent - nothing out of this world.
Great food - massive portions - Try to get in Michael's section, he'll make sure you get your money's worth on the bottomless.
Usually a favorite of mine, this Sunday appeared to be out of the ordinary. Our table wasn’t ready when promised and it took forever to get drinks and food. Appears there was only one server. Once we got the food, it was fantastic.
Well...won’t be going back again.
Food was great and drinks were good. Service wasn’t great. Waiter seemed overwhelmed and couldn’t handle. It was extremely loud too.
Our server was outstanding and the food was great.
Waiter was exceedingly unknowledgable about wine service. Bottle was wrong temperature. Food was overpriced and small.
Great boozy brunch!
Food and service were great. The restaurant is very loud (maybe bad acoustics?) so we were essentially shouting at each other to try to have a conversation. Brunch food was delish.
Michael (our server) was fantastic! Great food, great ambience, would definitely go again when in town.
Amazing experience; great food, drinks and service!
Very limited menu...with limited options for substitutions...this place is really for drinks, not dinner.
We had dinner before a show a Lincoln Theater so it was very convenient. Their flatbread is delicious!
The menu was terrible— hugely off season— tomatoes and a “summer salad” ...we had a cheese plate that tasted like nothing. Service was also slow
I did not like that you are only seated when your party arrives. Understandable requirement but this time my party was late so I ended up waiting around for 20 minutes before I could be seated.
I LOVE Vinoteca! One of my favorite places for brunch with the girls. I love that they have a bottomless option, an option for 1 pitcher, and a reasonably priced option if you want to purchase brunch drinks a la carte. Most places pretty much force you to do bottomless brunch, where the option for one drink is like $8 and bottomless is like $15-$20. I love to order their huevos rancheros for brunch. Super filling and somewhat healthy, I might add. Delish. Our waiter, Michael, was the best - super friendly and attentive. Vinoteca remains on the top of my list for brunch!
The burger was horrible .
No one greeted us. We had to track someone down. Our request for a bottle of wine via open table was never seen by anyone. I dont believe they even are aware of reservations that come through open table. Waiter was awesome though which helped make up for us feeling like invaders vs. Welcome guests.
Very poor and slow service and restaurant was barely crowded on a Saturday afternoon. The backyard patio is the only saving grace this place has.
A good find. We had a very good meal, especially the starters and mains. Very good time list. Excellent service.
Food was excellent and service unrushed.
We ordered the brunch bagel & steak and eggs poutine, AMAZING! We also got the cinnamon roll which was also delicious! The pitcher for $18 is the way to go if it’s 2 of you, the buzz is well worth the money! So glad we discovered this spot while here in DC! Can’t wait to come back !
I've been to Vinoteca a few times now, and every time it has been excellent. I always really enjoy my food, and for brunch the bottomless mimosas are very good - they do not over-do it on orange juice, which is always my pet peeve with some brunch places. Good for larger groups or just 2 people, and a very good location.
There was a mouse running around, which was a big turn off and made the food hard to enjoy.
The food was amazing and the outdoor patio was unexpectedly beautiful.
Luca our server was fantastic!!!!!!
It was ok. Wrong order sent to my table, quickly corrected. Service could be better.
The service was great! Very quick to take our order, and he said he would “leave us to our thing” once our food arrived and, if we needed anything, we should just wave him over. It was great! It does get pretty loud, but if you’re dining with a smaller group, you can still continue easy conversation. Also a great place to just sit at the bar. The outdoor seating area looks nice, too!
Didn’t get our food for 90 minutes and the waiter didn’t even comp anything as an apology. Will never return.
Poor food and service from the beginning. Started with charcuterie plate which literally had rolled deli-meat on it. Heavy on the bread and light on the cheese and protein. Our waiter had no personality and was there to rush us through ordering and had no interest in educating us on the tiny menu. Tried to serve my white wine in a large mouthed red wine glass. (This is a wine bar, right?). When I asked for the appropriate glass, I watched the waiter pick up a dirty glass and wipe it with a dry napkin. Grilled octopus was decent but the flank streak was tough and virtually inedible. One of us sent back the entire dish untouched with no acknowledgement of the fact that we didn’t touch the food. The place is so noisy that I left with a sore throat from yelling. All in all a dreadful experience altogether. Would never go back and would not recommend. Avoid at all cost.
This restaurant is advertised as Italian, however the selection is more bar food with an Italian flare. Also the cheese board was just bread ?????
The patio outside is great for a warm day brunch! Service is great but the vegetarian options seem to have smaller portions.
Not much choice but well prepared and tasty.
Noise was a little excessive but that was due to a loud group of customers that weren’t being considerate of others. It was our waiters first day on the job and he provide good service.
Decent food. Relaxed but got ambiance. Good brunch option with bottomless mimosas. Wait staff is a bit harried but very friendly.
Great food and ambience. Perfect for a date or just a casual happy hour with friends. Outdoor patio is a great spot on summer evenings and nights
