We made a reservation for 9PM and was not seated until 9:25PM. Very inconvenient.

Shishito peppers came out undercooked and the patatas bravas were cold so had to send them back. Also veggie dips were awful. Other than that everything was delicious and the service was wonderful.

The menu is extensive and unique. You can always find a number of wonderful dishes and the menu is perfect for sharing. The wines can't be found anywhere else and are a great value. The cocktails are wonderful and creatively designed. You will not find a more engaging staff and thoughtful staff. The make every visit a special occasion.

We had a wonderful time. Staff and owner were amazing. We did the tasting menu and were very satisfied. Definitely would come again!!

I will say it is a bit noisy but I was out with a group of friends so that was fine with me

When we arrived for our reservation our table was ready and waiting for us. We ordered a few tapas and it was nice that they came out staggered as we weren’t overwhelmed with the tapas all at once as we were able to enjoy each one. The ambiance was very nice and open space with a welcome feel. Looking back to enjoying drinks and tapas here in the near future.

Deafening noise level. Service was attentive. Some dishes very good: duck, meatballs. Others run of the mill

Third time here. Food is always delicious. The tapas tasting menu is a great value and everything they pick is delicious. My only problem this time around was that a server (not ours) dropped a plate of olives and oil on me and my friend leaving our pants with giant oil stains. Ironically the olives are my least favorite thing but she didn’t know that and although we asked for a replacement, we never got it. There was plenty of food but it’s the principle. Also, a comped dessert or drink would have been a nice gesture considering the damamged clothing. Was going to say something on the way out but there was no visible management and had to catch a train. Usually super loud but wasn’t as crowded as usual. Also, we sat for a long while with no food and then they brought it all out once including cold dips and bread which would have been nice to have earlier in the meal.

Service really brought down my experience. I had a rez, but they didn't ask. It was empty and I was told to sit wherever I liked. It only matters for the points, not a serious thing. Water hit the table immediately and then I was forgotten about for 10 mins. All this in an empty restaurant while the staff was at the service bar eating. And the owner was at the bar working on his computer.

Food was average, but it wasn't very expensive. Definitely need more flavor punch. My salad and mussels came out together, so I only took a few bites of the salad before working on the mussels cause I didn't want them to get too cold. The salad with the avocado dressing had zero avocado flavor. Maybe if there were a few pieces in the salad, it might have been better. The mussels in white wine were just ok, and having hard cold bread that a fork couldn't get into didn't make it better. If the waitress had come over at least once, I could have asked for salt. But that didn't happen until I was ready to pay the bill. I'm not into waving my hands around to get service. You either care or you don't.

Found VinoTapa online and decided to reverse for 3 friends and I. Reserving online took less than 5 minutes and got the confirmation immediately. They had our table when we got there, attention was great, the food was delicious. We got sangrias which were good, not the best I have ever had but for the $5 hour happier per glass what else can you ask for. The glasses were big!

VinoTapa is my go-to. I know the waitress and one of the owners by name because of how often I come here! While I definitely show up by myself when I'm craving the blue cheese stuffed dates or patatas bravas, I always bring out of town visitors or groups of friends here for the best tapas in NYC (and I've tried almost all of them!). The menu is creative and the food is so, so good. The $5 sangria until 8pm is also a plus. The outdoor patio is nice in the summer, and it's cozy inside as well. My favorite restaurant in NYC!

Great neighborhood spot with great food and great specials. Happy hour can’t be beat. It is on the loud side, so probably not best for a first date, but always a solid go to for a weeknight dinner.

I had been to this restaurant before. The wait staff recognized me, immediately making me feel welcome. They were as helpful as always explaining the menu, and I knew everything served would be amazing. I highly recommend the tasting menu it was wonderful, but ALOT Of food. Don't get it while on a date. Mike the owner was welcoming and introduced himself. I would absolutely suggest you come here if it's in your list

Food was great here. If you have more than 6 people, you will have tasting menu to try all the signature food in small portion. We like almost all tapas we had last night! Foods are really tasty here, even the simple bread with cheese.

Food was good. Happy hour drinks were a good deal. We sat inside because it was so hot out. The restaurant was SO smokey. Like hurt our eyes smokey. We moved outside and the manager came and asked us why, he said the vent was broken and they just fixed it.
Overall we had a good time. I would not rush back.

To be very fair the place is very good. The only problem was the food, extremely spicy. I woke up feeling sick of how spicy it was. I would recommend to ask for no spicy tapas ...

I never write reviews but am very disappointed and confused by the high reviews.

I did live in Spain and frequent Spanish tapas restaurants so I can only assume the other reviewers are not familiar with an authentic Spanish tapa because this place was nothing to write home about ....

I would not come back for the food. Sangria, sure.

Service was great, food was tasty, and atmosphere was energetic,. My only suggestion is that the sangria not be watered down with so much ice.

Tables were about an inch apart and loud. Not a good spot for a date night or if you are looking for a place to talk with the person directly across from you. High energy, definitely a good place to go with a large group of friends.

Brunch food was really good. Portion was a bit small since the dish only had one egg. Two eggs would have made the dish more filling.
Tapas were not served during brunch. Wish they were. Wanted to try them. Will come back for them.
Thank you

The restaurant itself is quite noisy and there is hardly any space between the tables
Worth putting up with the inconvenience to enjoy the food
