Vino Wine & Tapas Room Ratings and Reviews
We had a beautiful variety of dishes from the tapas menu and loved almost everything, potato balls, short rib, eggplant chips, bacon wrapped dates. We paired it with a wine flight. Our table was too small for the amount of food and wine but otherwise it was very nice. Service was unbelievably fast. Great experience for a birthday on a Saturday night.
I have been here many times but this time wasn't as great. The service took forever and some things were just not good, like the meatballs that were filled with mint leaves (not described on menu) and the ceviche barely had any fish in it. The mushroom soup was really good though. It was way too loud in there to have a conversation also. In general I really like this place so I hope this was a rare occasion.
Service was not so great, however, I like the atmosphere of this restaurant. The food is also pretty good quality. I do not know if I'd ever return to this restaurant again because it is not very memorable. I believe service should always supersede the whole restaurant.
It was exactly what I was hoping when I booked the reservation. Quiet, but not overly quiet. Really pretty setting, nice wine list and a great cheese board. The service was lovely -- never intrusive, but always there when we needed something. If it were a bit closer to me, I'd be back already.
I was truly disappointed in this restaurant I ordered the filet minon medium. First the brought the steak medium well then they remade it Raw to wear you could not cut through the meat, then the Waitress took it back out it back on the grill (a good restaurant knows it looses all flavor when you put it back in the grill) and brought it Mack completely burnt I ate the side and just left the meat. To top it all off the waitress added a 20% tip to my bill?!? Who are you? Makes no sense. Will not be back.
I truly enjoyed the food and wine options. The food is terrific, and we had an amazing Malbec then for dessert we could not find a non-dairy choice so we opted for a French liquor wine which was delicious and perfectly suited our meal. We were able to order GF, non-dairy, no-egg, meat-free options and left really full and delighted with the food and ambience. The service is genuine and we liked the fact they don't seem to rush you out - they want you to enjoy the dining experience and take your European-style time. I'll be back many times.
My husband and I love coming to this place since we started dating. We love the guitarist playing and the wine. The food had changed a bit since we started coming here. This time there calamari were rubbery ... not tasty at all, we had to send it back. We also order ceviche, it was good but it was really missing the ceviche part... Very little fish. It was more like a salsa, good taste. The crispy eggplant was yummy but a bit too crispy... Almost burnt. Gladly the wine was excellent. We'll coming back for wine and music. Food tonight was a bit off. We hope gets better again.
Good place for wine and tapas. The food was very good and a good value. The wine list was very good as well. We were there for the last 30min of happy hour so they were packed and the service was slightly slow at the start. But in the end the service was great.
When we were there it was the hottest day so far this year and A/C wasn't working. We were sweating profusely as we dined. Didn't help that it felt crowded and that the sangria was served warm. We had to add ice to it, which watered it down.
The entrance to the restaurant was dirty and there was a lot of graffiti on the building. Restroom was also dirty.
Overall, was disappointed. Only recommend going there in the winter.
I had wanted to take my adult sons to a different experience in cuisine and after seeing the 4 star rating on YELP, I decided to try this place. I was extremely pleased when I arrived at the restaurant because the atmosphere was more intimate and had a great vibe. My sons had never been to a tapas style restaurant and so we ordered a number of different dishes including fillet skewers, fried calamari, short ribs, mushrooms, and some chicken croquettes. They loved all the dishes as did I. We had a glass of their fresh sangria which was also quite delicious. And to It off we had a little banana bread dessert. The yelp ratings were right on target and I would highly recommend this restaurant as a great neighborhood gen where you could have some authentic tasty bites.
It was very cold and I asked that the air be turned down... I froze the entire time(even had a leather jacket on) other than that the server was upbeat and attentive, just forgot to ask how everything was... ie: I ordered the bubbly flight. Three different glasses of bubbly, they all tasted exactly the same. A few of the items that said they contained chicken, seemed to have a lot of cheese and creamy tastiness, but no discernable chicken meat or flavor. The filet skewers, were tender, but had very little to no flavor. Upon our server's suggestion, we ordered a potato dish, that was sadly drowned in a very spicy sauce, that seemed to be the exact same sauce that was on the chicken/potato balls. We were very disappointed. BUT, the place has potential and an incredibly diverse wine list.
We were pleasantly surprised with food and wine list! Definitely place to check out! The only disappointment was the fact that the waitress was trying very hard to sell is the most expensive bottle of wine based on her "personal taste" and I found her attitude a little bit pushy!
