At vino you will always have a great meal! The food is consistently delicious! The staff is great and Chuck’s jokes are the best! One of my favorite places to dine out in Hawaii.

Great wine list. We enjoyed tasting several different wines and they offer small pours which allows you to be experimental. We had the scallops first and they were absolutely fantastic! Super delicious! In hind sight I would order like 4 orders of those (there are only 2 on a plate) but worth it! We also ordered 2 pasta dishes. One of pappardelle a standing favorite of mine but it was thick and heavy so I would not get that again. We ordered the seafood pasta also which had an outstanding sauce but again the pasta itself was just eh The last thing we ordered was Osso Bucco which was tender and savory and again sauced perfectly. We had the apple tart for dessert and it lived up to the hype. Very tasty! We really enjoyed the experience. Joshua was an outstanding waiter and we look forward to going back.

I always enjoy coming to Vino for the excellent Italian food which reminds me of my visits to Italy. The food is tasty and the service is thoughtful and attentive. This is a place that everyone can find something good to eat. An added attraction is Chuck Furuya and his knowledge of the food and wine.

Should have just had the tapas, which were great. Entrees were so-so, pasta undercooked and osso buco tasted funny, like too much fat had been added (mashed potatoes tasted like had been whipped with electric mixer) or it was old. Waitress ok, but asked her for advice about tapas vs regular meal (never having been in tapas bar before) and she said said, well you can tapas or an entree or both. Not very helpful. Place needs more soundproofing, was way too loud. don't like having to shout at my date. We just weren't that impressed overall.

This place doesn't disappoint. Great wine, generous spirit, and delicious food. You can tell they really are inspired and care about the quality they provide customers. Side dishes, especially the roasted brussel sprouts and pickled beets were so yummy. The pizza was fabulous. Very homey, yet elegant experience. I will definitely come back here many times.

I need to go to Vino more often but it is on my go-to list for business and pleasure. If you don't know what wine to order it is very simple at Vino by the glass the more you pay the better the wine. I also order the white or red CF, house label. cant go wrong.

Service was great, our waitress was very informative and for those new to wine, such as ourselves, she really laid out some great recommendations. Food was out of this world, got the Mac and Cheese "Must-have" dish and each forkful was mindblowing. Girlfriend got the Shrimp Scampi and was sure to not eat too much so she could indulge later at home. The mozzarella pizza was a great starter. The ambiance was nice for a date.

One of my all time best meals I have had. Not one course was bad. The apple tart was the best dessert I have had!!! The owner took the time to sit down and explain the menu to us. The food is not only delicious but a down-home player with a unique twist. It is definitely a local spot spot. So glad we were able to discover it

Our wait help was amazing, so much personality. Really connected to us. The food was seasoned well. We had one person with allergies and they were able to prepare the food specifically to her needs. The "chatter" for us was a bit too loud. We had to talk at the top of our voices to hear each other. Maybe its was our table location.
Otherwise a very nice experience.

As always, the food is great and Chuck came around and chose our wines for us. They were terrific! We have dined here before but brought 6 new people and they all enjoyed the food and wine. Except for our waiter, we had an exceptional night.

I ordered the homemade pasta with seafood in a creamy sauce. The pasta was undercooked and the sauce was over salted. The kitchen redid the plate- the pasta was much better but the sauce was still too salty for me. I notice Hawai’i restaurants tend to oversalt their food. Wine waitstaff calamari and kale salad were otherwise great.

Chuck runs this restaurant the way a true Master Sommelier should run a restaurant. No aloof wine snob here; he is so genuine and truly cares about the experience of the customers. It's all about creative great food with hand picked ingredients with great presentation... and only then about the wine that complements it. He's got it right.

My husband and I live in Hawaii, but I’m from New Orleans. When I tell you this place went above and beyond .. I mean it. The food was amazing and the service outstanding. If you truly love Italian food and great wine .. this is the place to go. Let me add..when my husband and I have our date nights and we pay big bucks for a nice experience.. we at least expect the food and service to be worth the price. However, many times this is not the case in “touristy Hawaii”. This place was reasonably priced and well worth the money. I believe I will be a regular. 😊

LOVE, love this restaurant! Such a Wonderful Wine list with Chuck often there to help you make the perfect selection to pair with your food. Friends and I grazed on appetizers along with our wine. We LOVED every single one . . . The osso bucco is AMAZING! The apple tart and panna cotta were both light and Yum! A great finale to our meal.

We enjoyed our Valentine’s dinner at Vino.
My wife is vegetarian and they had a nice selection with dishes featuring Kabocha, Brussel Sprouts in addition to a Margarita Pizza. (Just ask them to hold the meat on the Kabocha dish). I enjoyed the Calamari and a tasty Dijon Aioli and the New York Steak prepared perfectly.
Known for their desserts, we shared the Apple Tart Ala Mode!
My wife also really enjoyed the red wine from Greece and the lighter Pinot Noir from California.
Storm provided excellent service and we will definitely be back.

We discovered this gem of a restaurant while vacationing in Honolulu. They offer a unique wine experience where you taste a flight of wines, at reasonable prices, with your meal. Food is excellent; they only use fresh ingredients delivered daily. Chuck, the owner, spends time with his guests explaining the menu and answering any questions you may have. It’s off the beaten path if you’re a tourist but it’s well worth it.
