I've always enjoyed my meals at Vineland Estates. They have consistently good meals and use local, quality ingredients. I recommend the chef's tasting menu with a wine pairing if you can. This night, our 5-course meal started with some oysters as an amuse-bouche, a pear and parsnip bisque, a chilled lobster and shrimp salad on frisee with double-smoked bacon, some delicious ricotta tortellini, sliced ribeye for the main, and a blackberry panna cotta for dessert. The classic wine pairing was free if you're a member of their wine club, and it's worth signing up, even if you just do it at the table.

Suggest changes to the lighting—lower interior intensity (understand you want to ensure dishes are displayed appropriately) but it’s too bright with the contrast of the darkness outside. Suggest installing exterior lighting to compensate. This would create a much better ambiance.

Our experience at Vineland Estates Winery Restaurant was exceptional from beginning to end.

We were seated at a lovely table directly in front of the fireplace on a COLD winter night. There were many appealing options on the menu, both for appetizers and mains ,but when our waiter explained the “tasting” menu for the evening we all decided to go for that. We were not disappointed. Every course had lots of different flavors and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Definitely plan to return and would highly recommend this special place.

We had New Years Eve Dinner here, just my husband and I. It was a busy place - as you can imagine for this time of the year. However in spite of that, the staff were kind and conscientious. The Chef came out and greeted us at one point during our meal. The vista in winter is great, can you imagine it in the spring / summer / fall? Thanks to all for a memorable occasion.

Vineland never disappoints. It’s the only restaurant in wine country that serves some of the best food in the area. We always make a pit stop when in the Niagara region for some winery hopping. This last visit, we stopped by after visiting Niagara Falls with our guests from Australia, and everyone was raving about the food for days!!

Vineland is a favourite of ours. The tasting menu paired with special reserve wines is pricey but phenomenal! Each ingredient is selected purposefully and with care. The presentation is creative and appealing. The wines are unparalleled. The service is always top-notch.

This time around I had the short-rib and wasn't a fan (the one I make at home is better) but I'm just being picky and this is the first time in our many visits that I encountered a dish that wasn't to my taste. I didn't complain, but I'm sure that with their excellent customer service that if I would have they probably would have handled it really well... like I said, I was just being pick and sometimes you just pick the wrong dish..
My cured duck breast salad appetizer, on the other hand was possibly the best thing I've ever eaten. We will certainly be back, I just won't order the shortrib next time.

The service was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We did the chef’s menu and wine pairing. Every dish that came out was better than the last. Our waiter took his time explaining each course and wine selection. Wasn’t our first visit and certainly won’t be our last!

Food excellent but with only a few tables it lacked an experience. Lightning too high, staff although super nice didn't know much about wine differences. Maybe just an off night as it's usually a 5 star

This was a first visit on a recommendation from an acquaintance. Although the weather was overcast it did not deter from the scenery and outstanding food. We choose our lunch with wine pairings and our server Rebecca provided excellent description of each pairing. Rebecca was a great host. We will definitely return in early summer on our next visit to Ontario.

I ordered the gnocchi. It was the best plated meal I have ever ordered. Beautiful and colourful. The gnocchi was served on a yellow squash purée with red cherry tomatoes, orange squash chips, crispy green brussel sprouts, creamy sliced Brie, and so much more. Delicious. It was like Disneyland on a plate. We have eaten in many, many Michelin Star restaraunts. This dish could have been served at any of them.

Looked forward to this meal for quite awhile, Vineland Estates Winery is quite amazing when driving up, the buildings set the scene for what was going to be a good meal.........eventually. The failure happened right away, upon entering the restaurant the hostesses have no clue what's going on, severe lack of leadership here from the management. To further make matters worse the lack of confidence grew. When our table wasn't ready which was fine we asked if we could grab a drink at the bar right in front of us. The hostess stumbled and then it took roughly 4 waitresses (no bartender present) to get us a drink menu and order uhhhh wine? Had this been in Toronto we would have left, nuff said, 2 severe initial moves would have had us leave the restaurant but being that we we're in the middle of the winery and had no other reservations we waited till we met our waitress Andrea. Andrea saved the day :-), the 5 course chef meal and wine pairings were incredible and so was the view. Andrea rocked and if it wasn't for her this would have been a great disappointment on what was our 8th anniversary. If Mgmt of Vineland estates is reading this improve your entrance, have confidence and teach this to your staff. Leaders lead, enough said.

Food was average tasting. They served us so fast and we had to ask them to slow down. Shrimp was soggy. Main course beef was tough as nails. Wine paring was very poorly presented. Each time the new wine came when we were half done our course and very little explanation of the wine. I would have though it would have been more professional in execution.

Overall so disappointing and would never come again
