Vineland Estates Winery Restaurant
Daily 12:00 pm–3:00 pm
Daily 5:00 pm–8:30 pm
Consistently high quality and creative cuisine. Outstanding.
Always satisfy their food and services
My friends were very happy to visit and enjoyed the moment.
Looked forward to this meal for quite awhile, Vineland Estates Winery is quite amazing when driving up, the buildings set the scene for what was going to be a good meal.........eventually. The failure happened right away, upon entering the restaurant the hostesses have no clue what's going on, severe lack of leadership here from the management. To further make matters worse the lack of confidence grew. When our table wasn't ready which was fine we asked if we could grab a drink at the bar right in front of us. The hostess stumbled and then it took roughly 4 waitresses (no bartender present) to get us a drink menu and order uhhhh wine? Had this been in Toronto we would have left, nuff said, 2 severe initial moves would have had us leave the restaurant but being that we we're in the middle of the winery and had no other reservations we waited till we met our waitress Andrea. Andrea saved the day :-), the 5 course chef meal and wine pairings were incredible and so was the view. Andrea rocked and if it wasn't for her this would have been a great disappointment on what was our 8th anniversary. If Mgmt of Vineland estates is reading this improve your entrance, have confidence and teach this to your staff. Leaders lead, enough said.
Food was average tasting. They served us so fast and we had to ask them to slow down. Shrimp was soggy. Main course beef was tough as nails. Wine paring was very poorly presented. Each time the new wine came when we were half done our course and very little explanation of the wine. I would have though it would have been more professional in execution.
Overall so disappointing and would never come again
Wonderful location especially in the fall. Food was excellent; flavourful, interesting
Absolutely delicious food, wonderful ambience, stunning views of the vineyards, excellent customer service.
Always a great experience; have never been disappointed.
It was a lovely change for Thanksgiving. And I didn’t have to cook! Wine excellent.
Very limited lunch menu and the wine pricing does not encourage selling of the house product.
Visited in a rainy day so could not have meal in where i expected which is nearby vineyard but worth to drive and food was absolutely amazing. I truly recommend this place to go.
An excellent dining experience. Be aware this is a three course $45 price fic lunch menu with optional wine paring. The three courses are exceptional. Come hungry andlewave impressed with the cusine.
We dined at Vineland for the first time in many years due to relocating out of province. Of course the view was picturesque and the food outstanding. Also enjoyed the wine pairings … awesome meal and more memories for a lifetime.
Very nice lunch, food was excellent and the ambiance was very nice.
The ONLY remotely negative comment we would have is that the food items are “pricey”. The food quality is excellent and the setting lovely.
This was an exceptional experience! Our server Andrea S was sensational! My birthday dinner was perfect !!! You Must go!
Food and atmosphere were excellent. Only down side was that the food came out slowly...Dinner for 6 people took 2 hours.
Nice wines. Creative dishes. Nice ambiance, bright and cozy.
5 course tasting menu was excellent from start to finish. Staff was warm and engaging, helpful and attentive. Wine pairings worked well. Would highly recommend dinner here.
It was a quiet night, we had to ask for spoons and more bread twice. The scallop dinner, 2 scallops and 3 tiny bits of sweetbreads was a miss for the price, not much of dinner. Bread was good, trout dish was good.
This is a great restaurant and winery. Beautiful location, great food, and great wines!
The food was nothing special. The charcuterie board had so many different unappealing meats which were unfortunately not good. We both had the Gnocchi which was alright, the only problem is that it had too much going on. I had a glass of Merlot with lunch which was again, no big deal. Besides the beautiful view, the food and wine are completely over priced given the flavour, and the presentation doesn’t make up for the lack of simple good ingredients. Too many complex, trying to be fancy garnishes that make the dish taste awful. Keep it simple. I also never received my points for this reservation which is ridiculous, given we were more than on time.
We love this romantic spot. The jazz band truly made our night.
Another wonderful dining experience at Vineland Estates. We were a bit larger group, so in a different part of the restaurant than normal for us which lost a bit of ambiance and view. Still, the evening was wonderful.
Amazing meal! Great live music. Beautiful scenery.
Very nice environment for birthday celebration, good food, wine and services.
The food is creative, has layers of flavour and textures with each bite. The food presentation makes your mouth water. My dining group and I were there last week and everyone was impressed with the food, so much they all asked when can we come again. We had the opportunity to speak with the chef. He trained at Niagara College, worked in Italy then returned to the Niagara area where he has been the chef at Vineland Estates for many years.
This is the place to dine in Niagara - perfect meal, great staff and drop dead vineyard view. A couple of hours of magic, we’ll be back.
Excellent service and the food was 5 stars...
Excellent food, gorgeous setting, very nice staff, as always. Length of time between courses has improved quite a bit this year.
From the setting, to the service (thanks Todd), to the exceptional food and wine, Vineland puts on the works. It’s probably one of the best meals you’ll have out in the Niagara region, if not Toronto. I brought my parents from New Zealand here, and we didn’t want to leave. I don’t think there’s an item on the menu that you can go wrong with...and the brownie for dessert is not to be missed. Thank you team, I look forward to visiting again very soon.
We have loved this restaurant in the past, but this time around we felt that the food on the tasting menu was not as inspired as meals we have had in the past. For the amount of money it costs, we expect more and were very disappointed. We even wondered if it was a different chef. Our bus girl was either new or distracted in some way as she forgot to replenish silverware several times. She did take care of the problem quickly as soon as she was made aware of the situation.
I did very much like the new patio set up.
If we return, we will probably choice from the a la cart menu.
We are from the area and was told by someone from Thunderbay Ontario about this restaurant . The food was amazing ! Service setting and location was above and beyond our waiter was phenomenal . This is his 12th year at the winery so what does that say about this place!! Definitely can’t wait to go back!!!!
We have been coming back to Vineland for lunch every year we come to the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is reliable and pleasant. Service is efficient, friendly without being intrusive. This year, we all found our food to have been overly salted. Meals were delicious but could have done with quite a bit less salt. Apart from this, it was our usual fine dining experience.
We absolutely loved Vineland Estates, it was a fabulous way to celebrate our anniversary! Everything was perfect!
The property has a beautiful view and surrounding, but it is getting run down and needs renovations.
Fantastic meal for all 4 in our party. The lunch table d'hote menu offered lovely choices and was reasonably priced. Each plate was scrumptious and the presentation of the food was spot on. They have a stunning view of the vineyards, estate and in the distance Lake Ontario. Our server Etan was super pleasant and knowledgeable about the food. We'd highly recommend stopping here when you are in the Twenty Valley wine region. ( we also recommend the wines in the Twenty Valley wine region!!)
We traveled from London for lunch with friends because we wanted to introduce them to our favorite restaurant. The experience was great and they loved it. The only difference we noticed compared to all prior visits was a lower level of attention to service. For example, our server in past would always explain the dish once brought to the table. I find that to be a nice compliment because the dishes are so beautifully prepared we sometimes forget exactly what was noted on the menu. Our guests had to ask what was in their meal ( looked like pepper), it was Olive dust. Having said that, service was outstanding as usually, just thought I would offer a suggestion for a more complete experience. Thanks,
While we enjoyed a wonderful meal with excellent service, the ambiance was disturbed by the bird bangers in the vineyards and the fruit flies in the dining room. I understand this is a necessary byproduct of grape farming, however, I will be sure to avoid the restaurant at this time of year in the future.
Amazing server. Will return next year and recommend to relatives.
This was easily one of the top three meals we've ever had in Canada. We had the Chef's Tasting Menu with the Reserve Wine Pairings - highly recommend it! The service was exceptional as well, and the view of the vineyard is gorgeous and romantic. My note on the noise level is not in regard to the restaurant itself but the faux gunshots used to scare away the birds from the vineyard.. if ongoing loud "gunshots" would disrupt your eating experience, don't dine there during the day or when the windows are open.
