The food was original, creative, and delicious. The appetizer special mushroom tart was to die for. My entree came with a carrot/cumin soup that was one of the best creamy veggie soups I've ever had. My wife and I both enjoyed our entrees. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Everyone from the host to the wait staff was great. This isn't really a "value" place, but the great food was well worth the cost. Photo is of my Steak Merlot (filet).
Enjoyed the old world ambiance and food
We loved this restaurant. The beet andmushroom salad was to die for and the rest of the meal left nothing to be desired. They also had a great selection of wines. Will definitely return and recommend this place to friends
Our bill was grossly overstated. Charged double for wine and $2 extra for each entree. Was corrected without question- but, left a bad feeling. Waiters were very good as was host. Food very French country.
Very small restaurant. We were seated by the bartender (I believe). The waiter seemed disinterested in waiting on us. I wasn't sure if he did not approve of the wine we selected or he was just not happy to be working that night. The bartender brought water & bread and our meal. The waiter did serve the wine and ask us about our meal. It was a Wednesday and the restaurant was almost empty except for a 2 top that left soon after we arrived and there was a 4 top eating when we left. The Beef Wellington was excellent and we would highly recommend. We specifically went to Vincent's because we had heard the Wellington was good. Would recommend this restaurant. Even though the waiter was "dour" everything else was great.
Our first time there and my husband and I both enjoyed everything about Vincent’s.
A wonderful experience with delicious food. We found our new favorite French restaurant
Vincent's is a gem. The New Year's Eve menu was a bit limited, yet we had no trouble finding excellent selections. The pear-chestnut soup was to die for! This is one of the best restaurants in the San Diego area.
The atmosphere was cozy and slightly decorated for the holidays. Christmas Eve Menu was superb. Service was professional.
Waiter was upset we didn’t order wine with our meal and after that provided sub-par service. It was not advertised on open table or the restaurant’s website, there was only a prefixe menu offering for the evening. This should be a choice, not a surprise.
