This is an amazing restaurant. Great food and better service. It’s a very intimate restaurant with the low light setting. I’ve gone here for drinks with my wife during the day and a few times at night for dinner with the fam. My kids love the food. Food is always tasty and fresh. One of Harlem’s best restaurants hands down.
I love this restaurant! The service and food are always great.
Always outstanding great food and wonderful service. We regularly take our 2 1/2 grandchild who loves their polenta and meatballs. They treated her very well
My go to restaurant ! I love the vibe the people and most importantly the food simply phenomenal!
Staff is attentive and warm. Food is always delicious!
Vinateria is one of my all time favorites! You get the downtown Manhattan dining experience/vibe right in Central Harlem. The food is amazing and the service is always on point. We loved our server, Karli :) can’t wait to go back!
We are always well treated at vineteria
Everything was delicious! The appetizers were fabulous: grilled octopus, crochettes & meatballs over polnta.
My only issue was I ordered the whole bronzino and the waiter asked if I wanted it fileted or whole, but the skin wasn't cooked (I was expecting crispy), so why would I want it whole? My friend had it fileted and it was much easier to eat (boneless). Otherwise, wines, ambience, value was excellent.
The restaurant itself was wonderful, but it seems like they did not actually understand that I had a reservation and clicked that we weren’t there, even though I gave them my name and said we were checking in for our 5:30 reservation.
The food is fabulous, inventive, artful, and satisfying. They have an excellent and comprehensive wine list. The staff is absolutely lovely, but we had a few glitches with our order, although they were very solicitous in making things right. What makes it less that 5 star is that the tables are literally butting up against each other so it feel a bit like a school cafeteria, and the noise level is deafening.
As we were there on a Friday during restaurant week, I would go back hoping that it won’t be so sardine packed and noisy.
This a very special restaurant in Harlem. Food and drinks are excellent. Highly recommended this place.
Absolutely wonderful! The service was supreme! Celebrating a birthday, I brought in cupcakes and they presented them beautifully with a birthday song sung by a trained tenor in Italian. You must go... everyone must visit. The owners mom and dad visited tables and they were fabulous as well. I hope to come back for dinner, having just returned from the California wine country, I hear their wine list is one to review! Thank you for a wonderful celebration!!
We had small plates (octopus) and seafood. All delicious.
The first time we booked a reservation here for dinner, we waited about 40 minutes (past our reservation time) because they were behind on seating before leaving. Second time we went to try again for brunch, it was a solid meal but you’re uncomfortably close to people, the food is very average, and I wouldn’t recommend it
Absolutely delightful with delicious food (don’t miss the happy hours oysters!) with very knowledgeable staff. A real find!
My wife and I went and we were impressed. Kathleen was a great waitress, she knew the menu and answered any questions and made suggestions. The mussles appetizer was a great choice, the sauce was very tasty, the soppressatta took it over the top. I had the home made pasta was really good, my wife had the lamb chops, which were cooked perfect. I had a nice Spanish wine as well. Tom the manager surprised us with a chocolate cake dessert on the house. Definitely will go back. Good experience.
Over the years we've eaten here several times, but never for Brunch. The Brunch has a varied menu, which is good, but some of the items weren't great - we feel they excel with pasta dishes. And the Bloody Mary is fair, at best.
We always enjoy eating here, and swinging by to just have drinks.
Great place to sit at the bar with your girl, talk, drink good cocktails and wine and eat above-average food. Totally worth it. Fun.
Everything really good—food and service. We really enjoyed getting tastes of the different wines.
Amazing food. Very cozy. Great service. One of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
Franco, our server, was top notch. He made the evening. Grazie, Franco!
A bit noisy, the service was good but not excellent, a smile will go a long ways. Now the food was absolutely outstanding! The wine choice is excellent as well. Overall it was a great experience!
The food was great but the service was so so. Our waitress disappeared for like 20 minutes.
I live walking distance from Vinateria and try to save it for special occasions. There is B2, La Diagonal and Lido all nearby. They are all good but V is on top.
By far the best mussels I have ever had. The sea scallop entree was delicious. Service was great. Wine was great. First time trying and extremely impressed. Will be coming back again for sure.
We had a wonderful Anniversary Celebration!
Great food and service!
One of my favorite spots in Harlem beautiful place vibe terrific food!
