Vinaigrette - Albuquerque
We enjoyed our meal very much. It would have been more enjoyable if the music had not been so loud. Our server said she would take my request to her manager- nothing. I get it that this is a new hip place catering to the younger set but this evening the place was filled with senior olympians. Adjust!
I had the pea salad which was excellent and a fair price but the duck tacos had about 3 bites of duck on slices of jicama- overpriced. My friend had the mushroom soup, which she thought was delicious. Ask for bread, it was tasty. The carrot cake was to die for. Filled with carrots and very light with wonderful cream cheese frosting.
We will return but maybe try to sit outside- I’m not sure how loud the music was there but it was a pretty patio.
We sat on patio... amazing- just like a park! Loved the menu and the food. Everyone friendly and attentive!
Fresh salads, meaty sandwiches, a great menu - Vinaigrette also has delicious desserts. Plus, we love the decor! Staff is always nice and accommodating.
First night in Albuquerque and friends recommended Vinaigrette, very good luck for us! Menus is not extensive but it is creative, fresh and tasty. The mac and cheese was enjoyed by our kids and the adults! The salads are really great, large, unique and there are a variety of "protein" options to add if you like to make the salad a meal.
The food was very good. Some of the best mac and cheese we've had. The mushroom stew was delicious. The service was fine and the decor is fun. It is a bit expensive.
Excellent service and delicious, healthy food! Music choice arguable, and could be a bit softer. Overall, great experience. We would do it again :)
Salads were good but not remarkable. I would expect more from a place that specialized in a particular type of food.
Service was OK
It was great!
Vinaigrette is predictable and good. You can always count on good salads and soups and desserts. Some of their sandwiches are quite good, others mediocre. Their Reuben is always tasty; I made the mistake of branching out and having their turkey sandwich which was fine but not very tasty. Fortunately, I ordered a Greek salad with it which was excellent. I inquired as to what specials were available and was told that they were "between specials." The desserts did not seem quite as wonderful as they once were. Their carrot cake is still one of the best in town, but maybe not as fresh as it could have been. It's airy, clean, trendy, upbeat, and its owner (Erin Wade) is a genius with a Harvard degree.
There is an option of outside dining which is also nice as at times it becomes a bit noisy inside. I like it and will continue to take guests there, but I wonder if it losing some of its original zest.
Always a winner
Alway a pleasant experience. Freshest ingredients, expertly prepared every time.
The food and the service were outstanding as usual. I will keep coming back.
We have generally had good experiences at Vinaigrette, but this experience was pretty mediocre. The service was slow, they were out of things and not apologetic about it, the soup was cold and the staff seemed uninterested in the customers. Maybe they had a rough day but our last trip there was somewhat similar.
Vinaigrette always is great. The staff did an amazing job with a packed restaurant on Mother's Day at dinner time when we were there. Love the simple blooming cacti on tables and beautiful flowers on the counter.
Usually really enjoy this restaurant but they seemed to be off of their game. The seared tuna was fishy, the duck was mediocre, and the smoked trout portion was smaller than usual. ......then seemed to forget the replacement tofu for the tuna. Finally just paid and left. Bummer. Hope this doesn't signal the end.
Salads were large With plenty of ingredients. In fact, it was so good that we went a second time. I wish they would open one up on Long Island!
Salad ingredients were very fresh and plentiful. We even went back a second time the salad was so good. I wish they would open one up on Long Island!
extremely expensive $12 for a mediocre tuna melt?, salty salty salty corned beef, portion size is skimpy and we left hungry and broke! The company we had was wonderful and we got to catch up with them so it wasn't a total bust.
Always the best. We always stop here when we drive through Albuquerque
Good variety of salads and add on’s as well as sandwiches and soups.
We've been to the Santa Fe location many times and this was our first visit to the Albuquerque location. Nice, vibrant atmosphere, a warm welcome on arrival, and our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive.
We shared an order of kale fritters with sriracha dipping sauce and they were excellent. My husband had the salad with pork tenderloin, and it was excellent. Uber-fresh ingredients, and the pork was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I had the mushroom stew, and it was excellent as well. Bread services is available on request, and work getting as it was a really good focaccia.
Party of 6 on a Saturday night—couldn't have been better! 2 The Beet Goes Ons, 2 Nutty Professors, a Caesar and a Kale Caesar with romaine subbed for kale—everyone loved their food. Focaccia was delicious, as were the desserts. The flourless chocolate torte was the star of the sweets, but big slabs of triple berry pie and lemon cheesecake were also good. The atmosphere is very live, so we appreciated the relative quiet when the crowd thinned. Our waiter was great, attentive and efficient. Wish I lived here, I’d be a regular.
We came here for our anniversary because we knew that the food would be just what we wanted and always super-fresh. A couple of glasses of champagne, and it was the perfect dinner to get away from our toddler for about an hour and a half. It's not a fancy, pretentious place. Very warm and welcoming. When you leave you don't feel all weighed down with a heavy meal. I wouldn't be surprised if we went back for our anniversary next year, but I'm sure we'll hit it for lunch a couple of times before then.
Food was fabulous! I highly recommend the Nachos--DELICIOUS!!!!
As always, prompt service, great choices, generous portions, very tasty, fresh food. I always get the trout to go with the main course salad. One of my top favorite places.
Great food, great salads, great Sangria. Bartender even hand-made a gingerale for my 13 yrd old son, he loved it!
We had a great dinner here for Valentines Day. Loved it and will come back
Very good food. Sterile environment very loud
Danni provided great service. She was attentive without being intrusive. We never felt rushed, yet she was right there whenever we needed something. Thank you Danni for a pleasant evening.
It has been a year since I was last at Vinaigrette but it was as good as I remember. I had made a reservation and was able to get a table away from the door and the windows as it was a cold night. Service was flawless and the food delicious from starter (yam fries) to dessert (apple pie with maple bacon pecan ice cream). My dining companions enjoyed the wine (it was a Linberg red) and my iced tea was constantly topped off. It's a bit loud in there so intimate conversation is difficult but the place has a great energy. All in all it was time and money well-spent and we had a great time.
The food is wonderful. I want to go back and try everything on the menu. The wine and Winter Sangria I had were also excellent.
We enjoyed our meal after an Albuquerque Little Theatre performance. Our tea glass was never empty, the sandwiches were scrumptious! The mac and cheese was to die for! And the salads were crispy and delicate. We will go back for certain!
Everyone enjoyed their meal. The Mac and cheese was some of th best I ever had. My wife and granddaughter had the turkey sandwich and said it was superb. The Cobb salad was excellent. The lemon cheesecake was outstanding
I eat at Vinaigrette regularly, it is my favorite restaurant in town! Service is always outstanding, prices are reasonable and the food is insanely good.
Excellent as always, as we have come to rely on and expect!
The food was very good and they were very flexible with changes in your salad. Service was ok. Facility is very plain. Sat on benches at the table. Felt the prices was high for what you got. Had nothing else with salad. No rolls or bread.
Great healthy food in a fun atmosphere. The options available will please ever pallette. Delicious
Absolutely impressed! This was a perfectly cooked hot sandwich and a delicious salad! The atmosphere was nice and quiet and new! We will absolutely return! We left happy, full , yet felt like we had a healthy meal!
Vinaigrette is a great place with a wide variety of salads and soups. You can add many kinds of protein to the salads (chicken, beef, pork, ahi tuna, scallops, etc). They also have sandwiches on the menu.
We had salads. My wife had the tuna salad with ahi tuna steak and I had asian chopped salad with chicken.
Both dishes were superb! Made with fresh ingredients. In good weather they have a nice patio.
The kale and black bean nachos are wonderful.
