It was my 75th birthday and it couldn’t have been better. Our water (sorry, I don’t remember his name) was so personable and accommodating (he was tall). The food was excellent as always. We have been coming to Orange Beach since 2002 and I have eaten many times at Villaggio. Will be back!
My steak is always wonderful, very tender. We always come to orange beach 1 a year and we always plan a night for a family dinner at Villaggio for the best steak dinner I’ve had. Thank You again for a fabulous dinner you never disappoint.
We miss the grouper. Mahi won’t do. .
The restaurant is a great place for date night or special occasions. The ambience and food was great. Although , our waiter was pleasant and not overly cordial and accommodating. I made a reservation online about 30 minutes before arriving and received notification in about 30 minutes that our table was ready.
It was great!
I love this restaurant. It’s my favorite in Orange Beach. The food is always excellent and drinks are very good. It’s always consistently good and prices are fair.
Wonderful! Perfect! Our server (Lauren) was amazing! We visit every year and will definitely be back!
The grilled Caesar salad is spectacular. The night’s special, grouper with a cream corn sauce was ok. Butter squash ravioli was great. Villagio remains one of our favorites in OBA.
Had the crab bruschetta, pan seared scallops, and Oscar salmon. All delicious and great service.
Alway great experience.
We had a nice visit at the Villaggio. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed what they ordered. Our waiter, James, was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back when we are in town. Thanks.
Food was good service was average
Best spot in Gulf Shores Area
Good fresh food. Seafood Alfredo pasta was awesome
Constantly on the lookout for great Italian food during our travels.
Villagio was definitely notable, service was excellent and the food was very good, with a huge wine menu, well worth a visit.
Three of us had the seafood alfredo. Very good, with lots of fresh shrimp and crabmeat, as well as the biggest scallops I have ever seen. Beer selection is good, but very expensive. A nice fruit and cheese tray for appetizer or lighter appetite.
I would absolutely recommend the food and service at this restaurant. It was one of the best meals we had in Gulf Shores and very reasonably priced especially with how good it was. But the wine prices were ridiculous. Wine is a very important part of our meals and the two we ordered (red and white) were both over $100 and are typically restaurant priced in the $60 to $70 range and were not that great.
If you are going for the food you cannot do better.
Great food, great service . Highly recommend the gumbo. Only negative $15 for a small average vodka tonic. Really?
Wonderful as always. Reliable menu. Friendly energetic staff. We dine here about 5 - 6 times a year during our visits to Gulf Shores.
Fish of the day. Salmon. You got to be kidding. On the Gulf of Mexico and you serve Salmon. Go the market and get some local fish. That’s what I drive down there to eat.
Waiter was outstanding went above & beyond
Slow service. Wine was great. I had a Gertrude Chianti. Seafood was good but not amazing.
I have eaten at Villaggio several times and the food is always great and the service is excellent. Most impressive is the food and service remain consistent even during special events when the place is packed.
Well done Villaggio.
Great food and great environment, very romantic and friendly.
Excellant food and service
We will return on our next visit
Mothers Day brunch was just, OK! First time there, hope the dinner food is better!
Great as always!!!!
Food was delicious and a great selection of craft beers.
Marshall was a very good waiter with personality and promptness
Out server Jackson was great. Oysters dnd Carpaccio were fabulous! We will be back!
Was hoping for a bit upscale, really great food. What we got was an ok experience.Everything about the meal was “ok” - nothing horribly wrong, but certainly nothing rated more than a 2nd tier pub in Atlanta.
One funny thing - I was impressed that when they called to confirm the reservation, they also confirmed it was a birthday dinner and asked the name of the person with a birthday. At the restaurant- the whole idea of a special occasion was unmentioned and totally absent. They didn’t even use it to try to sell a dessert!
This was our 10th visit to Villagio. It never fails to please. I had the Duroc bone-in pork chop. It was simply the best pork chop I've ever had in my life. It was like eating a filet. I would order one again.
There was a prom that night and a reunion so the place was noisy
Flatbread crust tastes like cardboard. The crab crusted salmon was blah..... restaurant was pretty messy. Wouldn’t go back.
We had an amazing time at Villagio and the food was wonderful!!
Excellent food, been many times and never a bad meal
Food and atmosphere was nice but our waiter seemed to be preoccupied with his larger table rather with the 3 of us. It was neat to have the kids make their own pizzas at the bar! Always good to have a meal where everyone can truly enjoy their choices!
Our dinners were delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and we were seated by a window where we could watch the light show. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. One dinner had to be sent back multiple times to be cooked to the correct temperature and management came over and apologized. The other two meals were cooked perfectly. We love this restaurant and return often.
I’ve on,y had one bad meal there, once, and we’ve been multiple times. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive and management comes by to make sure you are happy.
Overall it was fine not a place on my list that I have to go to when I’m in town. The server was not very helpful when asking what he recommended, his answer was “what does your tastebuds feel like” he was sarcastic. The food and the atmosphere was good.
